Okay guys, at this point I am going to have to wait for confirmation on how much material is left for each tie. I had no idea there was this much interest! Will hopefully have more definite numbers by the end of the day.
UPDATE! So I have talked to my contact and he will be checking the amount of each material that is left but there is a good chance that we are under that amount for all ties. The final pricing will be $295 per tie (custom tie pricing, no tax) due before the order is made. It is then a flat fee of $60 per household they are shipped to (from NYC). I am thinking I will have them all shipped to me and then I will ship them out myself to save you all money. It will probably work out to $2 a tie (to cover the $60 shipped to me) plus actual shipping cost to each resident. I will get estimates on shipping costs for each person (US & international) and that small amount will be due before the tie is shipped out to you. Most custom orders take 4-6 weeks to be made. If anyone has the exact style numbers or closeups of each tie please post them.
RECAP:
owed soon: $295USD per tie
owed when ties arrive: $2 + actual shipping to residence
I will accept checks and paypal (preferred). Buyer is responsible to compensate for any shipping or paypal fees.
Hi
Does your contact at Tom Ford know the exact ties that we would like, or are they requesting a photo so they can compare against materials in stock.
Regards
Carl
TF never disclosed the exact style numbers etc to its employees let alone the public. However, I have personally shown him the exact ties we are looking for and have screen caps and style numbers for most. However the more info we give them, the more quickly they can distinguish the right ties from wrong and we won't have to do any returns...
Trying to figure this out myself, I think Paypal fees for each tie itself would be just under $9.00. For those who know, does that seem to be in the ballpark?
Would have thought the Costume Cards with swatches of the Green Party and London ties should make those straightforward, no?
Here are pictures, with style numbers, of swatches that I received from Holden that he received from his Tom Ford contact at Harrod's:
PTS Tie
London Tie
Hotel Grand (Champagne) Tie
Greene Party Tie

I wonder how sure the contact is about those ties. I own a slightly different PTS and and Bolivia tie.
Also, on a related point. I am assuming every signed up here wants the EXACT ties and would not accept ties even if only slightly off, not noticeable at a distance over 3 feet. If any of these ties are out of stock, I will PM those signed up for the tie and see if you would still like an extremely close substitute.

Redsleighdown,
sruzgar, richi717, and ke02eww have the Champagne Tie. Maybe they can provide the style numbers of their ties for comparison?
DBS and I both have the same tie (no dark squares)
Sruzgar and Holden's swatch are the same tie (dark squares)
I will check with Rich and Paul. The dilemma is similar to the Prada belt buckle. What we first thought was black enamel on the side ended up only being a shadow. Same thing here.
Version 1 (no dark squares, see bottom right of pic):
Version 2 (sorry for different lighting, I believe the tan shades are the same in both ties):
Screen grabs:

Same thing with PTS tie.
Monza and I have an all blue version:
against Holden's swatch:
Movie screen:
Looks like shadows to me.

I'm useful
I have both versions of the tie. Here are the pics. Not the best lighting but I'm heading in for work in a few.
Nice, thanks. I used to have them both but never got around to taking some side-by-sides. As I said, they are so damn close in color!! Which one is right?!
I think the one with the darker squares is the correct Bolivia tie. You are right though, they are very close.
Here are some of my pics I took while I was in London.

For once I'd like to see an Aston Martin on the road without 007 on the license plates. =D

Nah, in Quebec we can't choose a specific name or number on our plates. You're lucky, shut the **** up.
EDIT: I mean, respectfully, that is
Looking at the Blu-ray of QOS, I tend to agree with richi717, that the one with the dark squares is the correct tie. If you look at time codes 52:44, 54:20, and 54:45, the tie is visible in bright light, and by my eye at least, you can see the dark squares clearly. I don't have any way to produce Blu-ray screen caps unfortunately, but maybe someone else can to confirm.

Please see the thread 'QOS Kasan tie number' for the correct black tie number. Please note that there is a dark brown version of this tie. I have both and looking at the film, well, somtimes the tie does seem to have a brownish sheen to it...but black is the safest bet I think.
Good Luck.

I'm not so sure about the dark squares. I just saw at the TF Boutique in Needless Markup what I think is the exact same fabric as the tie on the left in two different colors, and both were merely reflective to create the illusion of of lighter and darker micro squares. This is tough (!) but I'll go with the consensus.
Correct tie confirmation coming soon.
