Any hint on the maker of the sunglasses that dan's wearing in the panama shots?

Unlike the two pairs mentioned - the Aero and Benedict - the Craig ones seem to have a solid bridge over the nose, no?

By the way, there are new released photos of a scene where Bond and the agents run into a car and he is wearing these glasses so they are in the film...the hunt is on!

No, they look more like the Airman. I'll see if I can find a picture. Just FYI we're looking at $400+ sunglasses.

I have run many of the photographs found on the http://www.gemma-arterton.net/media/albums/Movies/ site through photoshop, and one thing is clear. There is only a single nose bridge. If I had somewhere to host the enhanced images I would!
Must admit though, he does look pretty cool in them! What ever they turn out to be!

I get custom lenses put in all of my sunglasses, it's very simple. They would have bought a pair of silver Oliver Peoples Airman's and put in custom grey lenses for the film. There's no doubt in my mind that Daniel Craig is wearing Oliver Peoples Airman's in the picture.

I think we have a definite winner here. So what is the name of the manufacturer. Perhaps I didn't look closely enough on the link provided. I only saw that they were from Neiman Marcus. I would think it probable that the manufacturer would come out with the exact Bond variation found in the film.

While I respect your right to put on your website what we want - and while the Oliver Peoples look pretty likely - isn't it a bit premature to say they are the new Bond shades?

Yes, we have some good work done by those here, but that doesn't mean - forgive me - they're necessarily correct.

And do we know the precise colour, even allowing that they are Peoples. Are they gold frames, silver or white? Are the lenses black or brown? The pictures of Craig, in different light, differ.

And, of course, if they are Peoples, might they not be a new range, unreleased at this time?

A little more patience required before all the votes are in, no?

I think the identification is quite spot-on, and Oliver Peoples has a strong link with (movie) celebrities (just like Persol had), so I think it's quite feasible that these are the correct glasses AND they will show up in the actual movie.

But, you're right, nothing is certain until the movie hits the screens or the (teaser) trailer comes out.

I will try to contact Oliver Peoples and try to find out more.

I agree with David....you may have people spend hundreds of dollars only to find out there is a release weeks later from the sunglass manufacturer....remember everyone buying black armed Persols instead of brown? Me included.

Wonder why the clothiers and other companies are being mum about their part...

I agree we should not call this confirmed. I wish they were Persols since People's are really damn expensive and they are rarely discounted.

I just received an official confirmation from the Oliver Peoples Public Relations:

"I can confirm that Oliver Peoples are featured in the new James Bond Movie."
