    I read that some time ago but say what you will about his Bond and his movies but you can't help but not like him.

    Personally think he was the hardest working, most passionate about his work Bond. Yes, some would say he dragged on, which he did but dammit if he didn't make what should be considered the essence of escapist cinema.

    All of it just comes together and he makes it come through. A golden age.

    Sure, he's not the best literary adaptation of Fleming's Bond. Granted, so much camp was never intended to be "Bond".
    But that doesn't not make him the best cinematic Bond there ever was.

    Rubbish? I think not.
