    Catherine Zeta Jones is gorgeous.

Great pics of Hedy Lamarr there Connery, (That's Hedley!) :D

and I agree, Maureen O'Sullivan was the greatest Jane. Even if she didn't show as much as Bo Derek did. ;)

Because her ego even surpasses her beauty. ;) She said she didn't want to be Brosnan's "sidekick" if she was going to do Bond she wanted to play Bond.

Congratulations, Moonraker 5! You made the 600th post to this thread. Little did I know what I was starting when I posted an innocent comment about seeing Izabella Scorupco on the cover of a magazine. . .

:D I could make a speech, but nah. I'll settle for some ickle Kyles instead.

"My, what big eyes you have grandma!"

:o" alt="On the subject of Kyles...has anyone seen her advert for Agent Provocateur? It's only screened in the cinemas before certificate 15 or over films... :o" />

MBE, I gathered Catherine was joking when she said that (I believe she mentioned she could be Jane Bond).

I thought I posted all these classics way back, but I don't see them when I look back through everything. Some might not enjoy the older styles. Some might not think it's cool to find anything attractive in photos not taken in the last 5 years. I choose to enjoy beauty wherever I find it, so I beg your indulgence while I flood this thread with classic beauty. :)

Wow Connery!! Where do you get all this stuff? :)

I'll just top it with a Clockwork Orange-esque picture. Hardy and co. are fans.

Is it just me, or is the idea of Kylie as Alex totally bizarre?
She needs one big false eyelash there.

Connery, she could be dressed up as an orange and I still wouldn't find it bizarre :D

Besides, I've never seen A Clockwork Orange :o

I'm cracking up at that Monique! At least he could have pulled off the Hilly impression in OHMSS. :)

Glad you enjoyed. I can find more if anyone's interested. Show of hands?

And of course Rupert Everett and Kylie have both been approached to star in a new St Trinian's movie, with Rupert wanted to play the role of Miss Fritton, the headmistress.

I suspect CZJ was joking.Of course, had CZJ not become a major star she'd probably have seriously considered being a Bond girl-if the chance was ever offered to her.But alas, she's an Important Actress now,and the Bond films aren't really considered "Important"--not in the same way a Martin Scorcesse gangster film is,or a Merchant/Ivory movie on the days of the Raj,r any other big film with lofty goals.Art,they ain't.

At any rate, having been in Entrapment,CZJ can always that although she didn't appear in a James Bond film, she did star in a movie with James Bond...;)

And frankly,I doubt Halle Berry would've become involved with DAD at all,if she hadn't been sought out personally(based on her peformance in Swordfish) by DAD's director--and been signed to do DAD before her nomination and eventual Oscar win.:007)

    Exactly right on both.

By the way Willie, I loved him in Entrapment, I think he proved he's still got it. CZJ was good in that too, sort of Bond-girlesque...wouldn't you say?

Oh yes,Mo--I agree.Entrapment's an underrated movie, the kind of thing Hitchcock would've made years ago.CZJ's very good in it and Sean Connery still has that indefinable Movie Star presence.:007)

Yes just the kind of film Hitchock would have made if he'd been drinking heavily at the time, it's an incoherent mess. ;) Connery though is very good in it, still very commanding, CZJ er looks good in it (too bad about the acting) Oh and the scene where CZJ beats up Connery as he lays on the floor... well that's just disturbing. I was about to look for a phone to report a case of Elder abuse. :P

With ya there MBE. I also thought it was a very disappointing film, and CZJ, although extremely pretty, just didn't seem to click into the part. Sean of course, as ever, plays Shean. Pales into a forgettable insignificance against the mighty Thomas Crown Affair and the beautiful, classic, sexy Renee Russo.

I'm sure Michael Douglas has done that too!

Interestingly the script for Entrapment was offered originally to the TCA producers, as the TCA update, they wisely turned it down. Script aside, PB and RR just make a far more sexy and interesting screen couple. (and they're the same age, a rarity! LOL) CZJ was much better in Zorro. She's even better in these phone commericals she does in the U.S. (that is her isn't it? Too good for a Bond girl, OK to hawk phones... OK ;))
Quoting Moonraker 5: I'm sure Michael Douglas has done that too!

Well I don't have a problem with that, I mean it's Michael Douglas, who wouldn't want to kick him? ;)

Jesus, you guys are tough critics. There is too much of an age difference to compare Sean and Pierce in those two movies. I loved Thomas Crown also, Pierce is incredibly sexy in it and Rene Russo was good as well. Takes guts to sit there topless when you have the um...chest of a 13 year old.

Don't hit me! I'm not Michael Douglas.

LOL!!!!!!!! It's not the age difference between Pierce and Sean, it's age difference between Sean and CZJ... yeah she married MD in real life and SC although a few years older is much better looking specimen but still, almost 40 years difference is a tad too much even for the movies. Besides that she well... stank. Watching her wriggle under laser beams in spandex while I'm sure it did a lot for many did nothing for me, and that's about all she had to offer. :P Besides the script really was a mess. As for RR's chest, well she's better developed than most 13 years olds, at least from what I recall from gym class about a hundred years ago. LOL

Get off Rene's chest Mo! Some of us like her very much that way!! Besides, the other side of her was prominently featured as well, doesn't remind one in the least of a 13 year old, and is far more important to some of us anyway!!!! ;)

Thanks for the compliment though - dapper I am! I also liked my work in Entrapment, but I was much fonder of Finding Forrester. :D

And what else would I have besides "Scotland Forever"? Some ode to England? Am I not the best Scot to ever represent British Intelligence? ;)

Oh please.....I was just kidding Connery. I love her too. To make amends with my flat chested friend, I'll put up some stunning pictures of her, although sorry none of her ass. So :P :P :P

rene15.jpgThere...have I redeemed myself? I won't even mention how I loathed Ransom, Mel and Rene, how can you screw that up?

I'd never admit it to anyone else... but Ms. Russo is really my type of girl! She has class! But a little bit more young... I think...
  • MBE_MBE_ USAPosts: 266MI6 Agent
Anarchist, it just shows you have taste. ;) Oh and there's nothing wrong with lusting after someone older, though it may be if it's Michael Douglas. :))

Mo, as for Ransom... you know something's wrong with a film when you'r rooting for the vile kidnapper to win. :P
