Well jetset, I can't see your pic, but I'm with you on the wrestling "women" - give me the shakes. Sorry Qboat.
Let me remind myself what ladies look like...

Rhona Mitra
Mmmm she is very nice
As I recall, wasn't she one of the first Lara Croft models (long before the film and wheeled out for games shows and signings)? Another one was Nell McAndrew ...
Nell McAndrew

Belinda and the Go-Gos were performing at the Fiesta Bowl Block Party in Tempe, AZ, on New Year's Eve, and I got to see her up close. She still looks pretty darned good (we could put her in the "Who's the oldest person you've ever had a crush on?" thread), and the stiletto heels she was wearing sent me over the edge. The other Go-Gos, though. . .well, let me crib from an another aging group of rockers: time is NOT on their sides!
Once again Connery comes through for me in the clutch! And thank you Predator for putting the idea in his head!...Belinda quite simply rocks the house. (And always will)
So, after saying that, here is that other girl band I had a thing for,...Susanna Hoffs. ManOMan...
Way to go Alex!
Susanna's been on my all time top 10 list for many years. Love the eyes, the long dark hair, the height... and her voice makes me feel like a 13 year old boy...
She still looks damned good, btw. Not so much in Goldmember, but check out the last picture here...

Such a shame ... Jane Wiedlin was a sweetie around the time of 'Rush Hour' and her appearance in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. But, Belinda ... all stems from her promo tour on the back of the 'Heaven is a Place on Earth' success. I was a deeply impressionable 17-year old ...
And the Bangles ... well, I always liked Vicki Peterson ... (but can't find a decent picture of her)

Yes,indeed...and Susanna's one of the prettiest 44 year olds I've seen in some time.

I remember back in 1986 when I was eleven, I had this huge crush on Susanna Hoffs and every time "Walk Like An Egyptian" aired on MTV I got very excited. In November of 1986 I was looking at Star Trek books at a book store in downtown Santa Barbara, California and something quite surprising happened. This chick, who was looking as if she hadn't taken a shower in days and wearing this light blue button down shirt that hadn't been ironed, stood next to me with her arm almost touching mine. I looked off to my right and noticed she was Susanna Hoffs from the Bangles. I about dropped dead, and to this day I'm still trying to remember what she was looking at. Was it sci-fi books? Star Trek? Fact of the matter is that both of us were staring into the same book shelf. I ended up buying the novelization to "The Wrath of Khan." When I went back to my parents, I heard my dad going on and on about how he saw Susanna Hoffs and at that moment I knew I wasn't crazy.
btw: has anyone seen her band with Mike Myers live?
All right! Linda and Nikki--let's hear it for those Arizona girls! Unfortunately, both of 'em have spent a little too much time at the Cold Stone Creamery ice cream parlor of late. Personally, my favorite Arizona babe remains the still-sexy Lynda Carter. . .
Bless you, Monique! A little tear has come to my eye now, with memories of hanging round the playground at Cheynes Infants all pretending to be Wonder Woman (yes, all boys, and most of them ended up being straight - I went to a very progressive school ). Altogether now - "make a hawk a dove, stop a war with love, make a liar tell the tru-uu-uth! Wonder Woman! Wonder Woman!"
Though if we're on the subject of DC heroes, I have to say I always preferred Superman....
I've always liked Dean Cain's work, especially in The New Adventures of Superman.
And as for Chris O'Donnell, isn't that quite a suggestive suit he is wearing? In the words of Shrek..."Do you think he is compensating for something?"
:d
Ah yes...the gorgeous Monica Bellucci.Proof that God IS a man.:) Seriously if MGM/EON pass up a chance to make Monica a Bond Girl, it'll be a real shame.Beautiful and talented...
My, Willie, you've got quite the thing for Ms. Belluci--she was even your "model" for Maria Sanchez in the NSD fan novel! But Sarah Michelle Gellar as a Bond girl? No, sorry--she's too cute, not as exotic and otherworldly as a Bond girl should be. And she and Brittany Murphy must single-handedly keep the mascara industry in business!
Woah Parli32, no offence, but those hulky chicks scare me. I like the soft curvaceous types. I've been lax in my picture bringing, but I see you guys have been busy. Ms. Belucci is quite a hottie. And Mo, I saw the Corrs a couple years back, they ARE very pretty. As far as women rockers--Stevie Nicks you guys can have. YUK.
Quoting Q-Fan:Woah Parli32, no offence, but those hulky chicks scare me. I like the soft curvaceous types.
Too right. Any woman who looks like they could snap my neck like a twig I'd prefer to keep at arms' length (preferably a two mile long arm).
As for The "We're so pretty" Corrs, they're very lovely, yes, but just a tad...ugh, I don't know what I'm trying to get at here, but they do get mocked a little over here for having the "We're so pretty" floaty, light image. Oh, and a little dull. I just can't imagine Andrea Corr being mischevious or adventurous...
Of course, throwing us in a different direction, there are quite a few very lovely French actresses around, and here's a couple ... (BTW I'm getting a little worried Parli, is there something you'd like to share with the group ... second thoughts no, keep it to yourself! )

As long as we're showcasing women in rock (and why shouldn't we?), I think Linda Ronstadt and Stevie Nicks deserve some attention too.
I'm with you on Lynda Carter as well, she's a knockout.
