Quoting Agent00CR:
Nice pic of Elisha, Hugo . . . wait, I think I just heard someone scream. . . .
I think I heard a dozen people scream It is one of my favourites pictures of her. She looks stunning
Beauty is something to be appreciated. I don't think there's anything immoral or sordid about modelling. I just hope that the women/men who do it feel confident about themselves and realise that they have other qualities apart from their beauty. It is really sad that some women become anorexic, develop eating disorders because they feel they have to be ultra-thin. Also I would hope that these models realise that they are also beautiful with their clothes on. OK we all like to see scantily-clad woman but woman can just be as stunning with their clothes on, as the Elisha picture illustrates. I hope these models don't lack confidence in themselves.
As for the Dixie Chicks, well I think that singers, actors, writers etc are criticised for taking an anti-war line. As if their opinions don't matter. Many are dismissed as "Hollywood or California liberals".
This isn't really the thread for me to get into this though. Sorry. {:) again!
Agent00CR- I didn't write what you quoted me as saying, I don't think ?:)
Oops, pardon me. I meant to quote Jedi Master, and I have corrected my previous post.
Oh, and I think you misunderstood my little quip , but Elisha is a beautiful lady.
I like your opinion about modelling in your previous post, Hugo, and I agree. As long as models are in it for the right reason and don't do anything that they don't want to do, I can respect them. It's just that vanity and lack of self-esteem get thrown into the mix all too often, and I wish that that didn't happen.
As I've already said, and as Hugo Drax perfectly exemplified with his Elisha pics: True beauty, whether from within the heart or from outside on the face and body, will shine and prevail even when fully-clothed. I know that most of us in this thread are males, but all women should remember that. Classiness and self-confidence can overpower lust and increase attraction. If men see a girl who just throws herself away, they will do likewise.

Agent 00CR- I didn't misunderstand your quip Maybe the way I positioned the sentences made it look like I did.
I agree with everything you say. The picture of Elisha Cuthbert wasn't meant to be anything to do with the discussion but in hindsight it is a perfect illustration of elegant beauty.
Sparkling eyes and a beautiful smile can be more gorgeous than any lingerie.
Maybe I'm in the minority of women, but I don't mind the use of the female form. Women love to look at other women, as well as men, and I say...if you've got it......
But what I don't like is the pressure all this fixation on looks, and outward appearance puts on young girls. We have epidemic cases of eating disorders, girls having cosmetic surgery before the age of 21, and unrealistic expectations to live up to. That's the only down side as far as I can see. On the other hand, I admire those with such a healthy body image that they can pose naked, or semi clothed, and be confident about it. I don't think they should be chastised.
The same goes for men.
Can we change the subject now? It's a bit of a downer on this escapist thread.
Quoting Hardyboy:Once this poster came out, I became a man!!
Ick. That's a little more information than we needed to know, Hardy

Honestly Monique and Agent00CR, I did get the quip, relating to me masquerading as the 'President of the Elisha Appreciation Society' and the response to that
Ah Farrah Fawcett, the woman after whom my sister is named. I remember an episode of The Simpsons where Homer put his face on that pic and wanted Bart to put it up on his wall. "That's sick" Bart replied. )
Hugo, you would like this months FHM calendar if you haven't seen it, your misisng out!
And sex sells, the new Lynx advert currently in cinemas is a classic example.
A load of blokes getting sweaty doing sport, in a sauna etc, with the tag line mens sweat only attracts other men. Then some rubbish about their new anti persperant and use this and attract a woman, with a loverlyyyy lady walking away. Pure genius! (Watch it, it will make sense then).

I've been told that Elisha is May on the FHM calendar SiCo, which I don't have But it's very appropriate to have Elisha as a spring month, when all the flowers shoot up. Mind you with the FHM calendar I'm sure the garden is in full bloom all year round
One of my friends in the US told me that Elisha is on the front of a Canadian fashion magazine called Flare. I don't know if it's published here in the UK though. If I find the cover on the net I'll post it here.
I could have used some of that perspirant yesterday when after running to a lecture I found myself sat between a cute blonde and a lovely Spanish brunette. The only time I've wanted a lecturer to speak for longer.

I have been advised by one or two of my friends to watch Daredevil and Alias but I never seem to get around to doing so Maybe I should:
If there is one thing in life you should do it is watch Alias, I wouldn't bother with Daredevil, or rent it don't pay too much for it, attractive she is but the film will put you to sleep before you get a good eyeful!!!
For the sake of brevity, I'll just say that I absolutely love Alias. I just finished watching the two-hour season finale over half an hour ago and was amazed, impressed, shocked, surprised, etc. As usual, of course.
Hugo, ever consider defecting from Elisha to the Jen Garner/Alias side? At the very least, perhaps you wouldn't mind being a double agent?

So if you manage to stay awake you do actually get an eyeful though Sico?
Double agent sounds good to me Agent00CR , with Elisha as my main mission of course.
Well Si knows where I lie on the Jennifer Garner issue (preferably underneath ) as she is just super stunning but I have been saying that now for some time!
Less talk, more hot!! I was planning to do this a couple of weeks ago, but now seems to be the perfect time to do my tribute to two of the babes from X-2. So, gents, I give you:
