Here in London, anyway.
Top 5 Bond snow scenes:
1) OHMSS night-time escape from Piz Gloria
2) Ski stick shooting and follow-on somersault jump in Spy.
3) "See You Back at the Lodge". TWINE.
4) Aston Martin Volante escapes Brataslava (sp?) in Daylights. Ends up in a snow drift.
5) Bob sleight ride in OHMSS, edited and cut to ribbons.
But the avalanche scene in XXX was better than ALL of these!

Besides the ones you've mentioned, (can't comment on xXx never saw it, you are kidding right? ) I like the whole snowing experience from FYEO. But OHMSS is the best! Especially the second ski chase.
Wow, frost in Florida! Are you sure it was some other white deposit?
I too like the FYEO snow sections in Italy. The whole sequence really builds up well and I love the way they brought a ski jump into it.
There's something I really don't like about the skiing sequences in OHMSS, and that's they way GL skis in front of the blue screen ... all I can think of are all my ski instructors saying "Ze ski poles must be parallel! You are skiing like an Englishman!"

Did you know that in Cortina they had to get more snow as there wasn't enough for the scenes lol

Trying to get back on topic, my 2 favorite scenes are TSWLM, with one of the best skiing stunts ever filmed, and the Parahawk chase in TWINE.
There is something about seeing the Union Jack parachute come out, even though the close ups with Roger are pretty appalling.

Oh, I forgot to mention... NO SCHOOL!!!
Been on the park for an hour or so on my sledge. Did a RM whilst surfing down a mountain 'ahem' hill.
And why can't one of the world's most important financial and cultural centres deal with a few centimetres of snow? Someone at TfL needs to be dragged out into the snowy street and shot. All 7,500 buses ordered off the roads because they might slip on roads? Two of the world's busiest airports shut? Did O'Hare shut? I don't think so.
Now, I am sorry. Here, in the west coast of Scotland, we also got several centimetres of snow - on the coast where I am, that's abnormal. Stagecoach and McGill's buses turned up at the stops on time, ScotRail trains were running as normal, and Glasgow Prestwick Airport, a few miles from here, had more 747s diverted from Heathrow and Gatwick than it could shake a stick at.
Really, it's not that difficult to cope.
Yup. Been doing it, in cycles, for thousands of years---even before taxes, tariffs and carbon credits (!). Will continue to do so regardless of same.
I'd mostly buy NP's top five, except for 3), where I'd substitute the ski chase from FYEO, and 4) as long as we can edit out the [inflammatory pejorative deleted] bit with the Aston driving around on the frozen lake...still inside the shed

The traffic was completely jammed in a gridlock, moving only once every few minutes. I stood nearby a woman who regularly catches my bus to work. She tried ringing up the bus company but couldn't get through and reccomended me to go home. I waited for a few more minutes just in case but the snow was just falling heavier.
I walked back up to mine were my mum was just about to set off to work and told her the whole story. She didn't know whether I was lying or not (I am not) but reccomended I ring the school (Internet is really slow today) but I didn't get through. Got through at about nine (when school starts) and the receptionist claimed that scool was on today! ) I simply told her the whole story and she said not to worry and that I wasn't the only one. Phew.
I'm 90% sure the school will close at some point between now and 12:30 as the snow is stilll falling now and getting even worse! (well, better for me ).
I'll be able to play out when my brother comes home because unfortunatly barely anyone lives nearby
Me and my brother found u can sledge easily in our trackies and used next doors drive - no ones living there so its great!
Good ski stuff in OHMSS, still wish Connery had done it. All the sly digs at Irma Bunt is pure Connery. "Characteristic ambition" "Really?" "Of a true humanitarian..."
