I personally think that the 007 theme should have satyed in the Connery era. They shouldn't have put it in MR. I don't have anything against good 'ol Rog, it's just it suits Sean better!

I agree with Prince Kamal Khan. It's too good not to be used.
FRWL: when Bond, Tatiana and Kerim steal the lector from the Russian consulate and escape thru the tunnel.
TB: "007" is heard in the background during the final underwater battle.
YOLT: When "Little Nellie" is being assembled and when Bond takes off in "Little Nellie" and flies her to Ama Island prior to the battle with the SPECTRE helicopters.
DAF: During the final battle on Blofeld's oil rig.
MR: The boat chase in the Amazon Jungle(not the one in Venice with the bondola).
It's the secondary Bond theme, but most people (besides diehard Bond fans )) don't remember it very well as it hasn't been used in the Brosnan or Dalton movies. I like the theme a lot, and I wish that it'd return...only if John Barry does the score. I'm deathly afraid that David Arnold will butcher it somehow.
It always sounded like it came from a western. More of a cavalry charge, than a man with a gun in the shadows....cue electric guitar..
It was quite nice to hear it used in the remix video Thomas Waldek did for his version of a FRWL trailer, so David Arnold could pull it off. Just the way he does for the Bond theme throughout CR (e.x. Blunt Instrument)
I am not suggesting we get another 10 minutes of it, just that it gets some decent, or small, amount of air time in B22. Or snuck in, somehow.
It would be nice to hear a reprise in QOS!

Aw, cute. But you shouldn't have. There are literally hundreds of the same topic and theanswer to this is always the same. It won't happen.
Amazing-
I'm a 28-year Bond veteran, but a neophyte to this board- I joined 24 hours ago, I've posted only about a half-dozen times, and yet I already know who the condescending thorough-going *******-in-residence apparently is...-{
It was one of the reasons I enjoyed TB, and the underwater battle. -{
Also, addressing the question whether old Bond themes should stay in the past, I loved the opening musical riffs of "From Russia With Love" being brought back and used in TND's PTS.
Royalties would have to be paid to John Barry (or latterly, his estate) for its use, in the same way that Monty Norman is paid for use of the "James Bond Theme". Since these days it's as likely as not that the score composer doesn't get to write the theme song and is obliged to use the JB Theme he wouldn't get to write much of his own (and thus earn the royalties) by using "007" as well.
Last post was 7 years ago and Barbel showing up here
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
I used to think it was a cheesy Western-wannabe library track (which it's not) but... I love it now.
Bring it back.
