[Wow! And I thought I was lucky for myu autograph collection!
I bet there was a price that came with those bullets!]
Not as bad as you would think. Actually, much cheaper than I thought I'd ever pay. Check out the London Prop Store or Bonsai Bond Collectables for some good deals. I know Alex on BCC will barter with you. I think you can pull them both up on Google.
One of the Grails of my collection is the FRWL attache case by SD Studios. Yes, I ponied up the money for it. It is very well done. I have pictures, but I'd have to email them. I also purhased an AR-7 to go along with it.
So, what sharp little eyes you've got...wait till you get to my teeth.

I would appreciate the photos of the sd Studio case, my e-mail is juggle5@yahoo.com
Thanks

Hi Ken,
I apologize, what I meant by "grail" is that the FRWL attache case is something I really want to have one day, but it is just one of many objects in my quest for neat Bond stuff. However, I do have the golden gun, which I snagged for a steal at US$350 about a year ago
I have some lukewarm good news though, I have somewhere the color literature that I got in the mail from SD Studios when they were still promoting their Bond props, but I really have to look for them among my junk. I will give it a college try to do that, scan the images and post them.

Ken,
Your E-mail address is incorrect. Please check it and post it again,as i have some beautiful shots of this item that were sent to me by a lovely guy who was actually involved in the development of the replica.I d be happy to send them to you.
Superado,
Any chance you could send me a scan of that brochure as well?I d really appreciate it.
Well, actually they use "cap" firing guns. I think you might recall a few years ago the story about Lee being killed in the movie the Crow. They were firing caps and one lodged in the chest. So, that is where they get the bullets. Not Lee's chest but from the guns themselves : )
Ooops, I meant they are the 9mm bullet caps from the gun. You can see some on display at Bonsai Bond Collectables under his TWINE prop collection. He might even be better at explaining how the guns work since he has one for sale.
I e-mailed you two pictures of the SD Studios Attache case. I hope you like them.
So, what sharp little eyes you've got...wait till you get to my teeth.

Another grail, one that has yet to be obtained, is the complete firearms collection of Bond. I'm talking movies and novels. To include such exotics like the ASP 9mm from the Gardener books. It will take many years and lots of dollars to amass, but "we have all the time in the world". It would make an outstanding display.

Oh, I was at SpyFest recently and a gentleman had all the guns from the books/films on display. I suddenly found myself wanting to earn my diploma in firearms.
Would have to be my OHMSS 1969 Aston Martin. OHMSS is the best Bond movie ever and the Aston was always my favorite. Couldn't get the car out of my mind ever since I was 14 years old in 1980. Have pics if anyone wants to see. I even have a few parts from the "real" screen used car too on mine! Oh...also my car will be on hand with George Lazenby in Gatlinburg, TN the first weekend in October!

Hi!
I have been offered one of the attache cases by SD Studios and before I pay out what is boun to be an exaubitant fee, would it be possible to forward he photos of the case? Ive got the Golden gun and wrist dart gun and this would just put the icing on the cake!
Please forward any photos or info to me at eagle_eyes@another.com.
Thanks
Ben
my holy grail would probaly be a few of my autographs as i consider them as rare.
Sonny Caldinez - Kra in MWTGG
Nadim Sawalha - Fekkesh in TSWLM and chief of tangier in TLD
I too have many props from the Bond movies including a tarantula spider from Octopussy, Moneypenny's earrings from Moonraker, 6 resin guns including a PPK from The Living Daylights and Denise Richards' metal case (Christmas Jones) from T.W.I.N.E.
Hi - I'm new on this portal.
I have loads of props - but some of my faves are:
TWINE - Dr Warmflash's Medical Report of Bond. 'Stamina : EXCELLENT'. There were only a handful of these made !
TWINE - One of the Parahawk silks sections with the terrorists logo on it. I've heard that there were less than 5 of these made. These were major props used - clearly seen when Bond shows Zukovsky it in the casino.
Autographs - my best has to be Desmond himself. I was fortunate enough to have sat behind him at the Christies Auction in September 1998 - even managed to get myself seen on Sky News who were reporting there at the time...
Quoting Cappy Morgan:
Check out the London Prop Store
Thanks for the tip Cappy! I am now waiting for a reply for shipping costs for a display of bullet casings fired by Pierce Brosnan! Hope it won't be too much, as I'll finally obtain 007 movie props!!

Hey, no problem. I also bought the bullet casings from them. It is a nice piece. Only a few dealers I trust on the net and they were quite informative when I asked my million questions. Another great place to check out is Bonsai Bond collections. He has tons of autographs and memorbillia. Nice guy.
Yes, I asked them lots of questions as well! I was constantly e-mailing them and they responded very quickly! I'm impressed with the company, and have ordered the bullet casings display! I hope I like it! Thanks again for putting me on to this company! Judging by the amount of testimonials, they're pretty good!
The holy grail of Bond memorabilia would be the Aston Martin DB5. One of the five in existance that was used for the film Goldfinger.
As for other items of lesser value. At the moment I'm trying to bid for a copy of YOU ASKED FOR IT (casino royale), for a low price without paying out too much.

Twice, I tell you, and only twice did I ever see a silver birch Aston Martin DB5, ala Goldfinger. The first, while driving down my street, a Bond-style DB5 went by the opposite direction, occupied by two senior-citizen couples (way to go Granddad!) I made a u-turn and followed it for a couple of blocks, short of making those folks feel uncomfortable, while I dreamed...
Only having Sean Connery walking by my house could have beat that privately sensational moment; and the second time, at around midnight while driving my friend home, I stomped on the brakes when I saw a DB5 in Bond livery displayed in a window of all places, a muffler repair shop! Boy, my friend and I stood in front of that window for half an hour, with a one-way conversation going on about the history of the car, etc. etc. etc.

A personalized autograph of Maud Adams from Octopussy along with a handwritten note appologizing for the delay in getting the photo back to me (I sent two photo's, she lost them apparently, and found them as she was looking in a file drawer for something. I got them back a year later )
Like some of the others who have responded, I consider a "Grail" to be the thing you serach for. I have a list of five things I desperately want, but which unfortunately may never be available:
5. A copy of the 1957 Moonraker radio play starring Bob Holness and the 1990 You Only Live Twice radio play starring Michael Jayston. (I very recently posted on this.)
Unfortunately, I think my chances of obtaining any one of these things is very slim. The first four are up to Ian Fleming Publications Ltd., and I'm not sure the last one even still exist. But that's why they are my grails.
Pleasingly I've just found one of those; it seems some helpful chap has posted it on his Jayston fan web page. Here's a link to the 1990 BBC Radio adaptation of You Only Live Twice on this page; enjoy!

How can you get them, the guns used in the films aren't real, are they, just like cap guns, or blanks firing guns...
Joe.

If you ask me for a serious reply, I would say my Olin Skis, which have been used for the ski scenes in FYEO.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
