    First,
    Hey Hey Hey!

Just hold on a doggone minute!

Is it "National Pick-On-The-General" day today?

    Yes.

Second, I'm so bored! It's half term and I'm dying of boredom! I phoned my mate, but she was just going out so I can't talk to her and I'm just so bored!
I don't want to be on the computer.
I don't want to play on my PS2.
I don't want to watch TV.
I don't want to go on my trampoline.
I don't want to read my magazine.
    So I'm just so bored!
    Relax darling, I'm on top of the situation -{

Speaking of quantity. Hello, Sir Donald. :D

What I mean't was that you have produced only 70 posts in a couple of years. Is it because the General is putting you off?

I have much sympathy with you if that is indeed the case. :D

Ah, he's driven you out before, I suppose? ;)

Honestly, I prefer reading threads than replying to them. I'm online quite often, and sometimes I like to contribute my opinions on matters I feel strongly about, or I'll simply be social and say 'Hello!' in the Random Chat thread. Seventy posts in two years isn't a great deal I agree - but perhaps it makes the rare occasions I do post more special!

    :)

    - Sir Donald.

Indeed, Sir Donald. Just one post from the General is enough to drive anyone away. I don't suppose you could persuade him to post as infrequently as you do? :))

Anyway, I hope you don't leave it too long before you post again.

You can say that again. I remember when you first came! Now look at you waaaaaaaaay more posts than me! :))
But that's because I really only post here too now. I look at some of the stuff in other topics and forums, but I rarely post.
Also, I don't come here daily anymore. That's becuase I started getting headaches coming on the computer too often and so my mom says I should come off. So I try not to spend long amount of times here. If I come on the computer in the morning, I won't go on in the afternoon.
It's as simple as that! :D

Well, you only joined in May of this year, which makes you a younger member really so you're not doing too badly. As Sir Donald says, it's quality that matters and post counts don't matter much at all. Despite my comparably large post count, it actually averages out at something like 3.5 posts per day, which isn't much either.
  • Jedi MasterJedi Master UKPosts: 1,093MI6 Agent
I'd say that's a fair amount! I don't think I make that many posts, do I?! How many days have you been a member then GO!?

I should be doing coursework now (I hav English and Geography) but I just can't be bothered! And aaaargh I keep thinking about this girl, it's annoying! I won't go on though!

Ah, it happens to us all - I'm in the middle of writing a thesis for a paper that is 10% of my final grade...

I just cant be bothered anymore - this class is driving me insane! I guess its all for the better...granted I am 4 hours away from my GF and that is leading to this insanity (if you know what i mean, haha)

    You can. I will! :D
There's this guy at school called Jamie and I haven't been able to stop thinking about him the whole of half term! He's dead gorgeous and I think he fancies me too. He's a real gentlemen and we're really into the same things. But I don't think he asked me out because he was worried I might say no, but when I see him after half term, I'd love it if he did! :D

*waves* Still likes my Goober! He helped me with my paper yesterday afternoon..."Kelsey, you're a JUNIOR! If you have no BSing skills by now...well...that sucks" He gave me a flower after show last night...it was cute...he was yelling for gaff tape, turns to me, and goes "for you!" in a really cute voice...tehehe

I'm bored once again! I'm meant to be enjoying half term! But throughout I've been bored! I've phoned my mate, but whenever I do, she's just about to go out somewhere. :(
I almost can't wait till Monday. Hey, I said almost! :))

I'm kind of stunned by the amount of women posters we have here at AJB - Bond seems to be mostly a male thing...

    glad to see the diversity
  • PendragonPendragon ColoradoPosts: 2,640MI6 Agent
w00t! I love how, when guy Bond fans in my area come up and start talking to me about some fact that every upstanding cinema goer should know (not knowing that I am like...trivia queen), then give me this really smug face. I laugh, give them something FAR more indepth to think about, and watch their faces...it's really quite amusing! tehehe...OMG...URINETOWN (the musical), that is playing at my school right now, IS AMAZING! For the past few nights, the actors have had this insane energy on stage...wow...you have to be a theatre person to know exactly what I mean, but...OMG! *Still has a happy feeling in my stomach from Goober's hugs before and after the show* tehehehe...

Ahh, this is the classic sort of thing a person in their teens would say, and although at 22 I wouldn't go to my mates "I have a happy feeling in my stomach from a hug", I know exactly what you mean from experience and I still get the feeling. It's great, and all I can say to whoever it may concern is.. stick with it and it will pay off. Just make sure if you ever get a good opportunity to tell him/her that you like them then grab the opportunity with both hands! As stated before I recently (as in a few weeks ago) got the girl of my dreams, so I can safely say that there is someone out there for everyone.

To quote one of the songs from the show I'm doing at the moment:

"Out there somewhere someone's gonna love yer, warts and all!"

It was ok last night, though I was annoyed with myself because I didn't nearly as much effort into my first song as I did in the dress. I made up for it with my second one though :007) .

Plus, I got a cheer for emerging out from the blanket with my white top hat and suit as the fully fledged swan, so I took a bow!!

Wish Haloween was more popular in the UK. I went trick or treating last year (quit laughing!), and there were loads of signs up at doors saying 'no trick or treaters'. I can understand if they're elderly people, but most of them aren't and don't seem to have any enthusiasum for it at all! :(
I was reading through the newspaper this morning and if I came across anything on Haloween, it was telling adults not to let there kids go!
I myself have lost all fun of going trick or treating. I found it pretty boring last year and was worried when I was looking for my Haloween bag this year (to give to my little bro), that it would still have all the manky uneaten sweets in from last year! :))
I wanted my parents to let me have a party for Haloween, like our neighbours had a few years ago. There were loads of people, a DJ and then we had some coppers come round! :))
But the most I'm gonna be doing is watching something like the Ring 2. I dead wanna see it!

Hey, I'm bored, so I'm coming back here! And don't take that the wrong way. I only really post here now. I read other posts on other forums and topic, but that's it.
No one's posted anywhere but here today. Where is everyone?
BTW, is there anyone here, who posts in random chat, that, like me, likes Doctor Who. If there is, do you enjoy the old and new ones, or just one of the two?

Halloween - atleast in my area of the USA - is pretty big. A lot of people (well kids n such) dress up and get candy, and most people participate too.

and then I go to college and like half the college kids dress up! lol - so I joined along too...my bed sheet doubled for making me a roman senator! haha

My best friend wants me to go egging with him. I'm not going to, maybe only to egg the guy's house that is going out with that girl I like. *******. Oh well. I'll wait.

I didn't go trick or treating last year, I'm not gonna this year. I'll just buy candy and play videogames on Halloween or something.

How I'd love too! :)) But with school the same day and everything else, I don't think my parents would pay for a plane ticket and I couldn't afford it myself! :))
I think I shall scare the little kids too. In fun of course. :v
Nightshooter: Go and egg that guy's house! :D :v You shall enjoy it!
I've always wanted to egg a houe on Haloween, but with the way things are going about Haloween over here, they'd probably try and make it against the law to be out on Haloween! :))
So egg the houes and tell us all about it Nightshooter! :D :v

Sorry but egging houses is just wrong. It's really not a nice thing to do! I won't go on about it though, I just don't think it's a very good thing to do!

I never really go out on halloween, call me a miserable sod but all the fun to be had seems really immature. Either go out trick or treating (what is the point, people! Go and buy some sweets instead, save some time!), or egging houses which isn't fun, funny or exciting.

    IEU2D = miserable sod!

Indeed there is Halloween in the UK, though perhaps it's not celebrated on the scale of many places in the United States. Myself and my friends are just big kids to be honest with you, and we all went to the pub on Thursday in fancy dress! I was the Joker; the purple suit, make-up 'n' all, my girlfriend was a saloon girl, one of my mates was Dr Frank N Furter (silly git), and we had a pirate, a playboy bunny, and several other characters. Despite the confused and rather odd looks we got from people we had a great time. Well, when you've walked through your local shopping center dressed as a woman after playing 'Lady Bracknell' in The Importance of Being Earnest, you can do anything!
