I feel hot. I do and I don't really have much else to say. I'm looking forward to tomorrow and hope my mom won't freak out if she finds out I'm still highest bidder on that other item on ebay.
Thother ones should arrive tomorrow or Thursday cus they've been posted first class. My brother would rather I'd brought a Beatles film though, cus he enjoyed the other one. But he's had them stuck in his head all day too. :))
I have zilch money and I've already spent this weekends as well as the following weekends if I win the item on ebay.
I tried to start saving in Januaray. I was doing ok but I don't think I'm gonna try and save more than £30 ever again. It's just not possible for me at the mmoment. :))
    Relax darling, I'm on top of the situation -{

Parental unit F (father) needs to STFU...he doesn't understand that I HAVE to go to 90% of my classes to day. I'm already missing Band, but I cannot miss Botany cuz there's an important test, I could miss Tech but I don't wanna, LA we're starting a new book, off period I see Goober (quite important to my health), and second lunch I have a lunch meeting with some friends I don't usually see till summer, History we have a book choice due, and if I miss the lecture, I'm screwed, and in Spanish we're starting a new unit...VERY important...why can't parents understand that I know the way my school worlks, and if I miss it, it's REALLY hard to make up? geeze...

    ~Pen

PS. go check out this really cool thing I did during Tech... H:\on_fire_.htm I hope it works, I really want you guys to see it.

its funny, in high school i had computers in just a few places - namely computer rooms (lol) - but now that im going to an insanely expensive college (and my family has no money to begin with, lol) computers are everywhere, but i cant pick up the wireless internet everywhere - damn city of Boston!!!
  • 00640064 Somewhere out west...Posts: 1,083MI6 Agent
I don't even have wirless yet.
  • NightshooterNightshooter In bed with SolitairePosts: 2,917MI6 Agent
Wireless is awesome. I used to hang out downstairs all the time, but since I got the network to extend to the computer in my room, I never leave!
  • PendragonPendragon ColoradoPosts: 2,640MI6 Agent
hehe...I have the computer to which the other two are connected thru wireless. Since mine is the best in the house, my mother decided to hook everything up to this comp. The beauty of it is, they cannot unplug my comp as punishment (like some people's parents do) cuz then their laptops won't be able to sign into the net, cuz if tower isn't on, then the wireless box isn't on, therefore the net connection is non-existant!

Oh, I've got a question for everyone. There is this girl I find really attractive, but she's a grade higher than me. I never have talked to her, but I really want to find a way to meet her. How would you suggest I go about it? The problem is, I only see her in the hallway, when there are tons of people there. What do you guys think?
  • 00640064 Somewhere out west...Posts: 1,083MI6 Agent
Let me explain how I hit on a 11th grader. I had a class with her and I often asked to be in her group. Now, if she turns you down, tough luck. But if she says ok, go for it. Now, lay off the smarts for a while. Just remain quiet until you are asked a question, and by jove you better know the answer. However, you should then begin to talk and turn in the charm.

Now, if you don't have a class with her, that is a bit more diificult. I would try to connect with one of her friends in one of your classes whom you are familiar with. Then, you should hint at the fact that you want to know more about her. Just slip a question in on occasion. Then you should try to act real calm and go up to the good looking girl and introduce yourself when she is alone or with the friend you are familiar with. However, be advised, don't compliment her yet. She will notice that something is fishy. Just on occasion slip in a hello and when the time is right, start a conversasion.

Thats my two cents, good luck.

If I had class with her, I would've been all over her already. Yeah, the friend avenue *might* work, but II'm not incredibly good friends with one of the guys that she knows. So, I really dunno.

Just try it with him anyway - if you've got no other better options then it's the best you can do.
My Beatles' CDs have arrived! :D Some have got a few cracks on but they're not too bad and a couple have got the teeth missing, to hold the CDs in, but it doesn't bother me that much. :p
I've listened to most of them this morning. My mom came in and woke me up when the post arrived and gave them to me. Then I've just been listening to them since whilst reading my latest Doctor Who magazine. :)
But now that's all got a little tiresome after nearly 3 hours. :))
I think I'm gonna have something to eat and maybe watch a Bond film. I've been rather in the mood for Licence to Kill for a while. :)

oo LTK...that might cheer me up...It's my favorite after all...I'm sick as a dog, and anything to make me happy sounds nice. Of course, if Colin were to show up on my doorstep to say hi, my sickness might just go away. lol. I doubt that, but he's already hugged me several times and told me to 'get better or else' for the last couple days.

~Pen *wanders off to watch Bond*

oo PS. I was channel surfing this morning, and I came across ARTHUR so I watched it for a few moments. Arthur was at the movies with his family, and there was a preview for the next JAMES HOUND movie...you'll never guess who he is. He's a secret agent who delivers witty one liners. Hmmm...ring a bell?

Well this morning I had unsettled sleep as I've found I often do when I've set my alarm for Doctor Who. I finally was in a deep sleep whent eh alarm went off. Typical. :))
Still, it was a good one. Next week there's a seven parter on! :o
I tape all of them, that I haven't already got of course. I had a new shelf put up to put them on. But I've had to clear a whole other shelf to fit some more on. Now that's full and I've had to clear another shelf. :))
I'm going to need to buy some more tapes soon as well. :o
    It's a hard job being a Doctor Who fan. :D :))

0064...shame for not knowing my beloved Phantom characters. Erik is the real name of the Phantom of the Opera, and Raoul de Chagney is his arch enemy. Go rent the movie. And read the original novel by Gaston Leroux (where it all started...it made me cry), the novel PHANTOM by Susan Kay (it'll explain his childhood), and while you're at it, see the show (AMAZING! seen it twcie! going for more). Erik is the man on my icon. That is Michael Crawford (the actor who originated the role).

Please tell me that you had at least HEARD of the Phantom before I told you about him? *pouty face*

Phantom is my FAVORITE! tehehe Erik is awesome! He may have a facial disfigurement, but he's still hot in my books...he's a composer, singer (love his voice), he can climb ropes real fast, he's quite ninja like, Really cares for the one he loves and is a master of tourture...how cool can he get? And that mask...mysterious men are hot! hehe I'm done now...this is what happens when I'm around other Phangirls...we get all giggly like this...

Well, I, for one, now hate you. ;) :))

Well now that you all hate me anyway...:D... I can admit it's Doctor Who. :o
I couldn't decide a few months back but because nothing much was happening in the Bond world, and Doctor Who was pretty much exploding, my interest grew in it. There's a lot more to explore and discover in Doctor Who, because they could produce more episodes than Bond could films.
I watched The Living Daylights last night though. I enjoyed loads. But if I keep Doctor Who as my hobbie, then I find that when I do watch Bond, I enjoy it far more. :)
You could probably have had a few inklings, as I haven't posted in any other forums, but the off topic one for ages.
I had a look though some yesterday though, after reading the newspaper.
And there's even more Doctor Who now for me. I get the magazine every month, the second series starts showing in about a months time, there's new merchandise about to come out and they're showing a load of the old episodes on UKGold that I haven't seen. The third Doctor. :) My dad's favourite. :)

So there you are! Hunt me down and galre at me with utter hate and disgust - but I won't care! Cus I still enjoy myself in this topic talking to you guys every day. I can tell you guys anything cus some of you are a whole ocean away from me. :)) {[]

I know what you mean about the 'not much happening in the Bond world' thing. I haven't ventured off of this forum for months...corrupt a wish has become a second random chat, it seems, so many of us are there...lol. All the Bonda talk is CR...I'm not a fan of Craig (I'll go see the movie, and that'll be the deciding factor), so that's why I've stayed here. ^_^ Felix, I think it's fine that you have another passion. Bond is a side hobbie for me as well. Theatre comes first in my life. You can find me (if I want you too) in the school Auditorium late into the night working on stuff with a few other people. I've told you guys before that if I didn't want someone to find me in school (namely the administration or my parents), that they couldn't. My friends moght be able too, I KNOW the theatre kids could if they looked hard enough. Darn us thespians, we're soooo tricky...and able to get keys to the school when we need them!
