No wonder some of them changed thier names! lol. )
We had a power cut last night - luckily tea was just done and everything was being done now by candle light. We got the mini TV which saved the evening for us all and me and my dad played Monopoly.
My mom's gone to stay at my Auntie's cus she doesn't want to be with me and my dad. She's dead annoyed and is saying he's taking my side. But all he's doing is trying not to shout.
He's got no job and the bills need paying. The building society have given us 2 months off before they want some money. So my dad is going to rent a van and be self employed for a bit.
He doesn't know if my mom's coming back and if they get a divorce, we'll have to move out of our house and live in a crummy one and I'll only probably see my dad at weekends. I'd rather live with him than my mom though.
All she ever does is shout at me and I hate the way our house is run. All I wana do is watch Doctor Who at weekends and be able to have my opinion without everyone shouting.
But everything isn't that bad. My mates' sleeping round on Friday, there's Shandy in the fridge, we're havin dad's spag bog and I've got Led Zepplin stuck in my head.
Finally, does this building (I couldn't really find any good photos) have anything to do with MI6 or MI5 or anything!? Or does it just happen to be next door?
Thanks guys! I'm stumped ?:)

'The Security Service (MI5), based at Thames House in London, is the UK's security intelligence Agency, responsible for protecting the UK, its citizens and interests, at home and overseas, against the major threats to national security. Eliza Manningham-Buller is responsible for the work of the Security Service, for which the Home Secretary has Parliamentary accountability. Meanwhile, the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), based at Vauxhall Cross in London, is primarily responsible for gathering intelligence outside the UK in support of the government's security, defence, foreign and economic policies. John Scarlett is responsible for the work of SIS, for which the Foreign Secretary is accountable in Parliament.'

whee! looks fun! I got to hang out with Colin for like, 3.5ish hours yesterday. The first thing he did when he walked into my house was hug me reeeeeally tight. ^_^ and I think we've made semi plans to go see a movie together! I'm soo happy he's home from NYC, I missed him terribly. Mmmm spring break is WONDERFUL!
Ha, yes. You have to call it "Spring Break" to avoid offending people don't you?! :P
Well today In school I managed to design the lights for a show, that's about it. Didn't do any work. Nope. Practised my trumpet a bit as I'm recording one of my compositions tonight ! Ah It'll be fine!

interesting. I had heard of this ALton Towers place, but didn't know where or what it is. It looks like an awesome park.
I think it's near me. Near Staffordshire, in the Midlands. In the middleish part of England.
Everything's fine now with my mom. But my mate's fallen out with her parents and accidentally smashed a like £200 unreplaceable ornament. So I'm there for support.

Alton Towers is Britain's leading theme park, situated in the Staffordshire countryside, England.
The park was constructed in the 1800s with its main feature, The Towers, a classic example of an English stately home, unfortunately now in ruins. Parts are gradually being restored.
Hmmm..looks intereting. I live in the same state as the legendary Disneyland, though I;ve only been there thrice. BTW after the first three pics I was thinking "Where are the rides."?

That looks well manicured for a theme park. Beautiful. B-)

Yes the rides are quite spaced out around the large park with its different zones (4 or 5 i believe) and the scenery is very elaborate! I think that may be a british thing, but on the other hand it may not!
I can't wait I must say!

I think I might go with some mates for my birthday. My dad's been, but that was before the rides and when he was a hippie.
It's so close to me... and yet so far. I really wana go now we've all been talking about it.
I'm off to see the school show tonight. Last performance so should be something special. A few mates are in it so should be good.
I've also now just got back from buying the Doctor Who Magazine and I'm gonna pass out before April 15 with the excitement. I've also brought Only Fools and Horses. And I'm still trying to remind my mom to fill in the form for me to subscribe. )
Aye that's what so unique about Alton Towers; it has all the rides you could expect and more, rides that were record-breaking when they were made. Oblivion for example being the first vertical-drop roller coaster in the world. The Nemesis had some records of its own.
Yet despite all this, its surrounded by this countryside and these perfect gardens full of statues and old constructions. Really there's no other place like it. It's a hit.
I got to spend about 2.5 hours with Colin again today. Me and group of friends (him included)were down on the local pedestrian mall all afternoon. I've found the second part of his B-Day present, and everyone is going to chip in because it's a little beyond my personal budget this week. He and Keegan rode my bus home after malling, and we just chatted, which was nice. I hardly get to just chat with him outside school. ^_^ Sad thing is, he just found out that he's been rejected by Brown University, and he really wanted to go there. *sigh* I Colin! *girlish giggles*
I was just joking because it looks like an old castle...

Thought as much. ) I'm incredibily tired today. I was up before 7 yesterday and didn't get to sleep till after 2 in the morning. I slept in till about 11 and had pancakes for breakfast. We never have pancakes for breakfast. Actually, we never have them at all apart from on Pancake day.
I have pancakes whenever mom feels like making them. Do you guys celebrate pie day? (3/14) At my school, the calculus students bring in pies and sell them for a dollar a slice. They make quite a large amount of money doing this.

PS. I finally broke down and rented Layer Cake. *thinks to self* "Alright, Craigy boy, here's your chance, impress me!"

Now, I've got myself confused and need sorting out...
Can you guys enlighten me? James Bond works for MI6 right? And MI6 is based in this building, right (in the films and in real life)?
If this is true, why does this building appear again when I search for "MI5 building"?

So I was in the car with Mum yesterday and she said:
"You know John (her boyfriend) has never been to a theme park? So I thought we should go to Alton Towers in the Easter holidays. Sound good?"
