Havnt been on here in a while. I just got back from Portugal early this morning and I'm trying to find any cinemas in the South of England that are showing Goldfinger.
Anyone know?
Much Appreciated. x
What counts is what the heroine provokes, or rather what she represents. She is the one, or rather the love or fear she inspires in the hero , or else the concern he feels for her, who makes him act the way he does.

Twickenham was fantastic! We won 62-5! Amzaing as we were unsure whether or not we'd win at all. The seats were better than I thought they'd be and Johnny Wilkinson was playing! :x
Johnny Wilkinson - fantastic kicker - aparantly they wanted him for American football!
NB: also is Sex God!
And yesterday he had an even more fantastic tan and even better hair. :x
The Welsh played some dirty tackles and we all cheered when a couple of their guys got sent off. But we also had some amazing tackles and I can't forget this amazing one that Robinson did - he just sent the guy flying backwards!
But unlike with football over here, the fans aren't hardly bad losers and there's a saying:[/img]Football is a game played by gentlemen and watched by yobs
Rugby is a game played by yobs and watched by gentlemen
All the fans from the different sides sit together and the Welsh guy I was next to just laughed as each of us took turns to shout, "That's perfectly legal - there nothing wrong with that!", when at times players were being dragged down by their necks. ) But they were alright!
I'm now all geered up for the World Cup, but after that we might go watch some of the Six Nations in Februrary.
Yesterday adn today we were at our friends caravan in Worcteshire (sic). It's one of our friends' 18th and we had a great time, everyone playing rounders. We had a barbecue and after went down the club and had a drink and a couple of games of pool.
Of course, like everytime we get together, a few of the adults got drunk. My mom was completely out of it and there was my mate going, "Would you like some more to drink?" "Yeah, go on, just a little bit...bit more...bit more- that's it!" They were all woken by me at 9 getting dressed, after they had only had about 5 n a half hours sleep. )
But it was fun and hopefully we'll see them again soon before the end of the summer hols, if only so we can find out one of our friends A Level results.
Felix, that sounds like a blast. Being sort of an American Soccer fan myself (Man U is where my heart truly lies), I'm hoping to score tickets to see my local team, the Rapids play LA Galaxy if only to see Beckham. I've been a fan of his since I started playing soccer...when I was five (I'm now 19). People here give me a hard time about it too. they're all "oh you're only a fan since he switched to American Soccer...blah blah..." and I'm all "do you NEED to see my posters from '97 and back again?" Really gets on one's nerves. X-(
*Passes cookies* I've never really liked soccer, though a ton of my friends played it when I was younger. Probly why I didn't like it actually. I've never been athletic at all. Guess it made me feel bad about myself. *Shrugs* I suppose I should try to get over that.
I guess this is the place to ask this. At what point should one forget about a particular forum, if they hadn't posted on it for quite a while. I'm a member of another site, which I haven't posted on since 2005, and I'm not so sure if it's a good idea to venture back onto the site.
"He’s a man way out there in the blue, riding on a smile and a shoeshine. And when they start not smiling back—that’s an earthquake. and then you get yourself a couple of spots on your hat, and you’re finished. Nobody dast blame this man. A salesman is got to dream, boy. It comes with the territory." Death of a Salesman
Dan, I do that all the time. Mostly, the people act as though I've never gone away if I so choose to post there again...I say just dump it. work it out of your normal internet rounds...usually works for me, but then again I have a very short attention span, so If I phase something out of my routine, it's gone for good.
Thanks Pen. I probably will dump it. The truth is, although I'm a member of several sites, this one takes up most of my time. I don't have time to dedicate much attention to other sites, as this one takes up all of my time.

I tried to join this second life website. But now it's saying my password's wrong. I dunno what hapenned but I've given up and joined Habbo again which I've been on before. I was really freaked out when this guy sent me a message and asked if I'd be up for some role playing! He was asking for some weird stuff and I've just ignored him and it made me realise how it would have been better if I could have worked second life. They're both mainly young people but second life has a section just for teens that's monitored. Obviously people can lie but it would be safer. 8-)
Meanwhile... yesterday AND today I went to Alton Towers! Never been before and it was great. Got on almost every ride I wanted to but still plan to go back with some mates perhaps later in the hols. It isn't half exhausting though and the queues are ridiculous. Alton and Drayton Manour should really look at how they do things in Disneyland and Universal Studios. When I was there the most we queued for on most stuff was 10 or 15 mins. We were 45mins in one queue yesterday! Unfortunately, another trip to Disney is quite out of the question money wise, but we're planning to go to Mexico next year!.

We had friends round last night and we turned on the tele to check the rugby score late in the night and found some American Football on. I really don't get this game. They don't seem to do an awful lot and so it doesn't really seem to look as thought it needs a great deal of skill. I really don't see how americans seem to find it interesting. We turned it off after a while. Is it really this simple or should I have kept watching to see things liven up again?

You should have kept watching. It gets much better by the end of the games.
Hi guys,
I haven't been posting here on AJB for a while lately, as I've been planning my wedding to my own personal Bond Girl.
Great news, we were married on Sunday night (19th August 2007) and the whole night went along smoothly.
After a few relaxing days at home, we're off to Honolulu tomorrow for our honeymoon.
See you all soon!
