That's great news Felix, all the best of luck for the little one. It sounds like the worst is over, and her parents can soon start enjoying the joy of twins!

Hey - you might see em at some point! They're gonna be on Australian TV at some point early next year i think. my little cousin's loved the cameras lol. :x
On me though, i have this evening discovered the sex pistols. ah youtube - what would i do without you.
here I sit in the computer lab at school, pondering what I should do about my room-mates. they don't seem to like me much (I've done absolutly nothing to them) and I'm pondering asking the RA about switching rooms. I mean, these girls talk about me through the bathroom door (I can hear them...the wood's not that thick) and won't just tell me that I've done them wrong (which I haven't). It's getting a bit annoying. Sometimes, they act all nice to me, but that's really only after I've offered to do something. The one girl seems nicer than my actual roomie (we share a bathroom), but still engages in talk against me. I don't know what to do though, as I'm moved in already...and If I tell my mom, then she'll rant and storm at the RAs, which I just don't want...but she might be the best person to tell. Mom says she supports my decision to move because a new room might be cooler (we have no air conditioning), but she doesn't know the real reason I want out. Also, I just don't want those two to have the satisfaction of "driving me out" as they'd think it. gah....help me out, guys.

Beat them up. They won't ever say anything about you again.
Haha, seriously, that sucks, Pen. I would talk to the girls and tell them you want to be friends and you want to know what the problem is. If they don't tell you, talk to the RA and change your room.

I agree with Night. They're being totally unfair.
Hope you sort things out Pen! :x
Pen play them at there own game, your bound to be smarter than them, think of somthing to knock them off thier high horses
What counts is what the heroine provokes, or rather what she represents. She is the one, or rather the love or fear she inspires in the hero , or else the concern he feels for her, who makes him act the way he does.

haha thanks guys. I'm going home this weekend, so I'm going to ponder a bit more...:v
and get this...my Math Prof. looks like General Gogol...I can't look at Prof. Hoard with a straight face anymore...he doesn't act like the General (prof hoard is a touch senile), but hey...it's not every day one of your teachers looks like a bond character
Hey guys,

First day back at school today and not all that bad. My timetable is pretty great and I have an hilarious Scottish English teacher. ) I can't be certain, but I think he's from Glasglow.
Also, yesterday we went round to me mom's friend's house and her daughter and son in law were there. They moved to Mexico last year and had a little boy born two months premature in May. He's ever so tiny!
Then today after school my auntie came round with her grandson who's 1 this month. He's off crawling everywhere and loves keys. He also loves toilet rolls ("...i came after him upstairs and he'd unravelled the whole roll!") ) and ornaments and candles, ("...i've had to move every single one from the fireplace...") and plugs and wires, ("...almost pulled the lamp off the table...my phone will never get charged again... he just scurries off so quickly to all those sockets!"). )
My auntie has him every wednesday and so sometimes brings him to our house or we go to hers. She's a typical grandma - spoils him wrotten and know that he adores chocolate buttons. :x
my grandma does the same thing to my cousin and I. we're her only grandchildren, so she feels it's her responsibility to pay for damn near everything we do. she sent me $500 for my birthday this year, and about $400 of it went towards my renaissance festival goodies. yay for grandmas. {[]
I went and saw The Police at Twickenham last night. They where absolutly amazing.
Sting's vocals where awesome.
Got myself a T-shirt!
The train journey back was a nightmare though. We got crushed in the rush and couldnt fit on the train. There where mounted Police on horses aswell.
But its all part of the fun.
All in all it was the best concert I have ever been to.

Glad you had a good time.
I've been to Twickenham twice now and there were police on horse back the first time we went. It was so cool! We always go in the car but I went to London on the train and we had to stand on the way. It was so annoying so I know how you feel.
Me and my mates were all hangin out in the youth centre at lunch and everyone almost died laughing, as I walked over to the leaflet section, by the drugs ones, and took a leaflet from every single one of the piles, looked around shiftily then came back and sat down. ) They really aren't the most helpful of leaflets and we were all just encouraged to try something. ) It sparked conversations along the lines of 'if you could only try one drug...' n 'which do you think sounds the coolest drug...' )
Of course drugs are a very serious business and none of us would seriously ever consider taking any. *cough* :v
awww...I'm soooo jealous! I missed The Police last time they were in Denver..tickets were snapped up the DAY they went on sale, and I never stood a chance. This weekend though, I'm going to an Anime Con with some friends...should be a good time.

good luck, Jarvio! I moved a few weeks ago...damn...it seems like I've been here longer than 3.5 weeks...it takes a while to adjust, but before you know it, everything will be routine again! if you need someone who's been through "the move" to talk to, feel free to PM me.
Hi, I need some advice. My GF is turning 40 next week and I have no idea what to get her. I don't want to get her lingerie or other cliched items; rather I want it to be special and truly original. Any suggestions? (It doesn't even need to be 'adult' as my GF loves to pretend that she's 20 years younger. )
How about a simple but elegant braclet, and make her a scrap book kind of thing of all the times you have shared together, photo's, old cinema tickets ect.
Was my brithday yesterday! Im now 17!! WOOO!
I had my first driving lesson this morning, was so fun.
Sorry had to get that off my chest.

I work there, and we are having a campaign day tommorow, and we all have to dress up as school children... that I dont quite understand.
This is the store that sells music and movies, so why dont we dress up as Super hero's or famous musicians?? Or other Characters from movies. Maybe have a James Bond day once in a while? Who knows.
Working there is great none the less. But it just made me wonder.
