( I know some will hope this story is about Bondtoys ) )
mmm interesting report, most of the cars in car chases tend to be other peoples cars ie stolen
so firing a tracking device at the pursued vehicle to go find it later , will obviously find the registered keeper/ owner
but on the flip side ,it will be easier to find the abandoned vehicle, but then most are torched any way
but the first thing that is done is to check /do a PNC on suspect vehicle (so we know whos car it is anyway)
im personaly in favour of firing a heat seeking missile at the car killing every one inside it ,and the best part is ,the re-offending rates are always zero )
The small town of Rjukan in (you guessed it ...) Norway has so far only been know as the place where Norwegian SOE agents blew up a factory and perevented made sure Hitler got the atom bomb. This was the most decorated mission in WWII. Now it has a new claim to fame. Rjukan is at the bottom a of a narrow valley, preventing any sunlight from reaching the town during the long winter months. Now they have found a solution - gigant mirrors!
It turned out that Horst Tappert, who played Derrick, was in the Waffen-SS at the end of WWII. To be fair people were forced in to the SS at the end of the war, but still ...
Derrick was the biggest crime show on Norwegian TV in the 70's and 80's when the TV channel showed one crime series every friday. The slot was "The detective hour". Ahh ... memories ;%
Had my first spin in an all electric car ( Nissan leaf ) and liked it very much, if they eventually
get all the problems about charging etc sorted out or get the hydrogen system up and running
I'd be happy to get one.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
Agatha Christie was a well-known racist, and so I am not surprised to find serial killer Poirot turning on the hotel guests with a machine gun, offloading lead while shouting 'Die you inferior English scum! It was I, I was the murderer all along, you are too dim to see!'
Bafta Scotland: Richard Wilson honoured for outstanding contribution.
Happy to see him getting some recognition, I think "One foot in the grave" is
one of the classic comedies of all time.

Did this happen in the Novel?
1.On Her Majesties Secret Service 2.The Living Daylights 3.license To Kill 4.The Spy Who Loved Me 5.Goldfinger
Not that I watch the show, but it's a brave decision and clearly meant to avert the staleness that creeps into longrunning TV shows (cough... Simpsons... cough).

Speaking of Simpsons.....I read somewhere that they're killing off another character next year. Either end of this season or early next season (late 2014)
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

Couldn't believe they'd do this to one of my favourite characters.
