Plans for a Murder She Wrote reboot have been scrapped. Probably for the best as it is a classic and should be left alone. The plans for the reboot might be reconsidered in the future however.

Murder She Wrote was a kind of American Ms Marple. A spinster who solved polite mureders commited by and to rich people. Neither good nor bad, but very old-fashioned. Joss Wheedon mentioned the show as a typical example of episodic TV. She couldn't leave the house without a murder happening, yet she seemed comletely surprised when they occured. One should think she would turn into a nervous wreck who barely could bring herself to get out of bed ....
I just saw the first episode of the TV series Vikings. I have some comments and I first impressions and I chose to write them here. I like the show and I'll keep watching it. The mythical elements seem good. I also like thee way they talk, I can detect the Nordic accent there. Here comes the negative comments:
- There were no female warriors, the shield maidens are a fantacy. Women had in many ways more power and freedom than their sisters in christian countries, though.
- The vikings of the late eight century knew western Europe well and traded often with them. The idea of the West being unknown to vikings is bulls**t!
Had to laugh, watched DR NO the other day, and the scene where Strangways is killed by the three blind mice,
(with me so far) he is about to climb into a Harry Potter ice blue Ford Anglia, just thought it was funny head of Jamaican section
and all that

The reason the Tom Clancy-inspired franchise keeps failing is Ryan himself. He's not even a poor man’s James Bond - he's a generic bean-counter who usually plays second fiddle to more interesting villains and co-stars."

Maybe we can invite them to try the conch chowder with Jaws and Sharkey (the scale of the fishy puns is really quite impressive, eh?) )
