I just read the first paragraph of that article about fluorine, omg I have never heard such twaddle; first of all, most reactive and most powereful oxidizing agent are the same thing!! Then this lunatic says that fluorine is used for non-stick pans, and staying dry in a downpour, if it was more reactive than francium it would keep you warm in a downpour, by blowing up! I dont know if you have ever seen francium react with water, I havent, but im sure i can imagine it, if you wore a fluorine coated coat, or anything, if it didnt blow up before you made it to the front door, the minute you opened the door it would kaboom!! And non-stick pans, the minute you put it into the sink it would blow up in your face, wich would be wiped off your head. I promise you Francium is the most reactive element, this (wo)man has no idea what (s)he is going on anout!!!
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.
That lunatic holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University, a M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. She also received an M.B.A. from the Wharton Business School.
Albert W. Burgstahler, Ph.D. (Harvard) also says that it is Flourine. Obviously he is not a sain (sic) scientist either.
If you want to call people with this type of academic pedigree insane or idiots, you must be either very smart or very stupid.
good for her but she is wrong when she says Fluorine is the most reactive element and most powerdul oxidising agent as, as far as I am aware they are the same, but Francium is the most reactive element, followed by ceasium followed by rubidium and so on and so forth!
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.
What is making you all say that Fluorine is more reactive than Francium? Is it just this webpage or do you have other proof? The proof I have is my science teacher, endless educational videos!! And most importantly of all, the periodic table. I will ask my science teacher on Monday and she will settle this for us!! If for some reason I am wrong I will apologize, I have no problem accepting I'm wrong when it's obvious I am, but I'm sooooo ceratin that I'm not wrong!!!

Yes, it is! By the way, it's sister ship, and the Bismarck was not nuked, it was sunk in a dramatic naval battle between the Royal Navy and Kriegsmarine. It was outnumbered heavily, and was eventually sunk after several direct hits.

Jedi, I think you are incorrect. I would appreciate it if you dropped this as quickly as possible, so we can move on to discuss things worthy of discussion!
Francium certainly is the most reactive metal, but I think, looking at them more generally, that flourine may well be the most reactive element overall.
GO, I stand by you. Perhaps 50% of your posts have been pure garbage, but that is nothing compared to the 99.99999999% that is mine. I'm ready and willing to take your insults MNL. At least you're recovering from the horrid event that the end of the "GO bashing" was.
GO i think alot of your posts have been 'quality' as you say. It doesnt really matter the lentgh just that you say what you believe and back it up well. Thats what is quality to me.
I dont think that anyone here hasnt had at least a few posts that were just agreeing with someone, because someone else already posted about what they felt.
But i think we have alot of quality posters and I think most would agree that AJB has to be the best site on the web to go if you want to talk about Bond. The posts are real.
hey congrats to all on their posting, we all do great.

Off-topic, but I found out by the judgment of Moonraker 5, OddJob is now a "traitor." For something completely different, check out "Bond Reuniting" and OddJob's modified posts.

I concur.

I thought you'd be the worst affected by the peace. I also have noticed a serious temptation to insult someone.
You'll get through it, MNL. Chew gum instead. Or something..
Tripitz, sorry I was just proving my point!
Well you gotta live a little, JM.

Yes I whole heartadly agree, now let us never speak of the elements again!!
shall we continue with this general knowledge topic or what?!
Sorry. I'm not much of a fan of the books.
A clue as to Leiter's job is that it was working for the US government in a different capacity.
my post is the 667th, wow who would have thought eh!?
Yes, but they haven't all been quality posts.
Is there any need to state the obvious?
For once I agree with you, General. Have any of your posts been of any quality because I don't remember any. )
The first insult in over a week. I feel better for that.
Also - I expected you Lazenby880 to at least show a little style in your insults.

I would have preferred it if those 2000 posts could have been written as brilliantly as those written by you MNL, and L880!
But I'm getting there...

But why should I waste my precious time conjuring up imaginative insults to a 'gentleman' of such poor stature as you?
And believe me Mr Ouromov, my writing is of a certain pedigree and panache that you can only dream of. )
Because I'm immune to your pathetic insults. Surely you can do better!
