How is halloween going?
This American tradition has come here to stay, it seems. I have only got five chocolate bars left, started at four or five times as many.

Just driven down to the local railway station to pick up the girl (she has just been to a Halloween party in the city,
seems like every other person getting off had some sort of Halloween theme on them ,me thinks this Halloween lark is going to get bigger every year ,Will we see a Halloween tax ?? 8-)
Any way us Kent residents were treated to a sonic boom over the county the other day ,courtesy of our brave lads , from a RAF base in Lincs, Now according to the press a big air craft had entered UK air space on its way to Birmingham,
They (the bogey )had lost radio contact and could not transmit their intention . As the Bogey was only minuets away from London ,the decision was taken to shoot it down ,leaving us poor buggers in Kent to run for cover while dodging tons of flaming metal, falling from the sky. 8-) .Now obviously this choice was taken as not to have same chunks landing on London or Buck house, Now my missus says to me "how come we know about it " fair point , RAF jets are scrambled at least 4 times a week to intercept our friendly Russians ,who try to fly over the UK every week ,Now im not saying we don't do it to them who knows ,but the point is we heard it ,so the powers that be had to own up for once
I remember reading a short piece about Halloween, saying one of
The reasons it's so big in America is because it has no religious
Overtones, All people can take part. Christian, Muslim Jewish etc.
So it can just be a fun night.
On a side note, given there are loads of Horror movies set around
Halloween, I was wondering. Are there any Horror flicks concerning
The 5th of November ? As I'd say a psycho " Guy" with a large
knife/ chainsaw would go down well with audiences. )

How about getting rid of the Labour Party instead? )

) They seem to be in meltdown in Scotland. Many of their traditional
Voters are going to SNP. In England it seems to be all Conservative or
UKIP. In my opinion the Labour party turned its back on their grass roots
Supporters, to become Conservative light. so why go light when you can
Have the real thing with Cameron. ) I honestly thought the Lib Dems were
Taking over from Labour as a more left wing part, right up until they became
Yet another Conservative light party. ) so I think the Labour party is doing a
good job of getting rid of themselves ! )

Indeed, and in my book at least that's no bad thing as they ruin our economy every time they are in power, without fail.

To be honest, I think like Tesco, The labour party has lost its way, it's
Neither one thing or another. It's trying to be all things to all men. )
Which ain't gonna work. )

At this stage I think that Ed Milliband has zero chance of becoming PM, and all of his policies, including 'One Nation Britain' are old Tory ones anyway - 'One Nation Tories' held the sway years before the advent of Thatcherism and monetarism. -{
