I really like James May. Some of his programmes are very interesting. I also love his dryness.
It took me a long time to warm to Hammond as he just seemed like a wannabe Clarkson for a long time but he eventually won me over too.
As for Clarkson I can't help myself. Really like the guy. He constantly makes me laugh.
I think Top Gear is very clever in that it masquerades as a car programme but appeals to men and woman alike. I know as many women who watch it as men. My daughter even watches it.
It's a bit like 'sport' programmes like ' A League Of Their Own' .... Nothing to do with sport all about entertaining ...

There were lots of demonstrations here in The Netherlands today on the behalf of our freedom of speech, and saying NO to extremism. I have deep respect for this.
Sadly some hostages have been killed. Sad news

Police to try and get in, as the terrorist would probably
Kill us all anyway.

Like you, I don't read autobiographies.
I remember the crash very well though. He was extremely lucky not just to be alive but to recover the way he has.
I like him now though. He found his own personality.
The Top Gear team work so well together.
