Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.

Mine also has an Athlon processor running at 2.13 GHz, as well as an 80 GB hard drive.
Our computers are actually very similar! When did you buy yours, Jedi Master? It will be one year in two months since I bought mine. It is interesting that I know a good bit about computers, since this computer is the first computer that I've ever had!
Hey I got my pc about the same time! It was very funny it just arrived at the door one morning and that was the first we heard of it! We had been pressuring dad to get a new PC, rather than our old one which was Pentium 2 with 4 GB hard drive and Windows 98, naff huh?! Anyway it was very funny! Plus I have a 3D surround sound system with 5 tweeters and a sub woofer, NTL broadband modem, a simple logitech webcam/microphone and an Hp deskjet laser printer. Oh and my moniter is a SyncMaster 975 df made by Samsung with a 17 inch diagonal picture! (the picture is 17 inches from top left to bottom right)

Wait a minute.
I met a guy from Jakarta once.
It was at that casino in Macau.
What was it called.
If I think of it I'll tell you.
But there was a murder there the previous week
or so. I sat down at the bar and saw some police
talking to the bartender and such, and I asked
if you were worried about being struck by a stray
bullet.
He said no, because they were mob hit men from
the Triads, and they never miss. Those were the exact words -- "they never miss." So there was no danger from stray bullets or whatnot.
That wouldn't be you, would it?
It was the summer of '01, before all this terror business made traveling a nuisance.
Wow a reunion on our thread! Im so proud! Happy Reunion guys! I'm from Britain, england, surrey, guildford, farnham, weybourne, 72, the second room from the left, the bed inside or the pc on the other side of the landing, i spend about equal times in/at each, maybe more at my pc! (Neo!)
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.
you remembered it incorrectly. "they never miss" was spoken by the bartender but he was simply quoting the police explanation why daylight assassinations of the triads were of no interest to law enforcement authorities. they never miss and thus are no danger to the general public (!).
glad to know we're in good hands in macau.
i'm brushing up on my mandarin for a trip to Beijing if i can't get to macau again. that's over by your neck of the woods. interested in meeting up?
Sounds like an idea...
um, how do the Chinese authorities feel
about casinos? One pictures the Red Guard
of 1968 and doubts very highly whether
Bond-emulators like us would fit in...
This is kewl, isnt it!? Well I'm feeling good, heading off to Lake Tahoe, California skiing in 1 week and 3 days, really does sound close! I can't wait!! I bought myself a new hat today, it's crazy!! It's black and has multicoloured spots and three long bits to it! I love it! Anyway I'm just thinking about an idea for our 1000th post, what should it be?! Who should it be by?
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.

I'm not quite sure what to make of this. Should I start Forum War 2?
Forum War 2!? Are you kidding!? After all the work I did as the Random Chat Peacemaker!!?? )
Technically, it would be Forum War 4, since there were three Forum Wars since Random Chat started.
Also, Jedi Master, you'll love California! I live just north of California, so I've been there a few times. It's beautiful! Make sure to send us a postcard!
Hey, I've got a good topic for discussion. This should make Matrix fans happy.
What if The Matrix actually existed, and all this is nothing but a simulation, but you didn't know it? What if Morpheus found you? Would you take the blue pill and wake up in your bed? Or would you take the red pill? Stay in Wonderland and find out how deep the rabbit hole goes?
If it were me, personally, I'd take the red pill. I'd like to find out the truth.
I'd much rather be one of the far better, and more sophisticated agents. Another reason for not wanting to join Morpheus - I'd have t see Trinity every five minutes or so, and that alone would be enough to make me sick... !!
Hmmm, yeah well I was wondering which pill to take until the good General pointed out that I would see Trinity every five minutes if I took the red pill, I think that settles it, hand me over that red pill and put the blue one somewhere most people daren't go!
No forum wars thanks I'm ok!
So who's buying the Matrix Revoloutions on Friday? I'm considering it! Depends how expensive and what thing I can get with it by pre booking really.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.
Nah like i said im not either! Apart from anything the cover of the video and DvD is terrible! Oh well I'll buy it some day, its a damn good film after all, be it a little, no a huge amount confusing its still very good!
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.
I would offer to do that but I'd make sooo many mistakes! I think you'd be best for that General after all I think this topics success is majorly down to you!! Of course if you don't have the time we'd have to find someone else! But I'm talking like we've decided and its final! What do you all think of that idea guys?
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.

I am using a Hewlett-Packard PC with Windows XP.

This is my second computer, and it is an 'Advent' with a 120gb, 3.06ghz Pentium 4 processor.
Hehe, my first was a 350mhz 'Tiny' with a 6gb, Pentium II processor. It sounded good back in '98!!
for another reason
to prolong this thread to 1000,
let me ask:
where are most of the AJB fans located?
I've just been emailing delon64,
who is the other AJB poster in the Korea-Japan
area of the world.
Are most of you in Britain?

It's right on the main strip there.
Were you there? I can't remember if we
discussed the Riviera or not (never been)...

Tirpitz, having read your past few posts perhaps now would be an appropriate time to remove "AJB's wandering intellectual" from your signature.
