For anyone interested in radio comedy, BBC radio 4 extra has a very funny
Series ( can be heard on the radio player). Hut 33, set in Bletchley Park during
The war.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
just flicked over the tv and England are playing Italy and ,wait for it we are loosing 1 nil , so much for Rooney saying ,European teams will be scarred of us now , ) ) ) ) ) plonker
The DM is a Rag that I would not even sneeze into.
I read The Times myself - Bond's paper! -{
I judge newspapers by their crossword- The DM's is a joke, the Express is at least fun. The Times I can do early in the week, but it gets harder as the week goes on.
Tell you what ,the other day I was round my sisters house ,and some one had bought her little boy (5) a toy AK47 , this thing was massive ,almost full size , I was thinking to myself ,some one of say MG talent ,could easily add a bit of paint here and ther and make it look real . The curved magazine came off ,and so did the butt . Now if id had saw that being waved about in a bank (when I was in the police ) id have to call up the ARV boys ,and some brown corduroys Iknow things like this were banned in TPs

Even in America kids have been killed, by Police officers mistaking these
For real guns. Which to be honest I can understand, some do look very

I often read The Guardian, sometimes The Independent too. I find that newspapers that assume their readers have a brain and know how to use it are the best newspapers, the ideology of the newspaper matters less.
Ed Miliband wants Rosamund Pike to be the next Bond - producers should "move with the times". Personally I'm a fan of Rosamund Pike. She was greatin Gone Girl, but I'm not sure I want to see her cross-dressing in a movie )
I'm finally understaning what TP is on about when he complains about the quality of British politicians.
This is the stuff that annoys me...it's not even clever...and yet every media outlet feels like they have to churn out this rubbish just because it's April 1st...April Fools jokes should be clever and inventive...it's like they give this job to the tea boy/girl to do X-(
) I've also read today some April first stories......
The date of Spectre's release has been pushed back to December, because the
Lighting was too bright in some of the Mexico sequences and would have to be
reshoot.
Madonna had been recording the theme song. )
Also that Craig had punched Mendes in the face, over an argument about a kebab.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
The key to a good April Fool is that it has to be plausible enough to fool the masses but not so plausible that it doesn't get some sort of reaction. For example, an April Fool that Daniel Craig has announced that Spectre will be his last Bond film because he's going to devote the rest of his career to the stage doesn't work, because it's not far-fetched enough. Likewise, an April Fool that Daniel Craig has announced that Spectre will be his last Bond film because he's going to follow in the footsteps of his idol Bruce Jenner and become a woman doesn't work because it's too far-fetched. You have to go for the nuanced shocker, like:
"Daniel Craig announces that Spectre will be his last Bond film after paparazzi catch him wearing neon-green trainers: 'It's just incompatible with the British spy,' Craig admitted in a hastily-called press conference in Mexico City where the 24th Bond film is currently shooting. 'No one who has seen me in those shoes can ever believe that I'm the super-spy again. I know I don't always have the best dress-sense, but I definitely overstepped the mark there especially as they clashed with the face of my Bell and Ross wristwatch. Rather than damage the franchise, I have decided to step aside.'
