I'm one who's all for the voting age to be brought down to 16. As you can work
and pay tax at 16, so if you pay tax. Then you should have a say on the government
who set and spend your taxes. All the same excuses that were used to stop

This is different from proof - proving political theories is very difficult.
Could you please give examples of these PR governments that just meaner along until they usually collapse? You haven't given a single example yet.
See my answer above....
If you can't prove your theory then my work here is done....PR governments - in the main - just don't work...which superpower government has PR ? Exactly :v
I'll leave this with you now....
Proving political therories is impossible in the scientific sense. Marx tried to sell his political theory as "science" with ""proofs", but we all know how that went. You can't prove your theory either, you still can't even come up with examples of PR political systems are less effective than the UK system. How many times do I have to ask?
Are you seriously suggesting the US parliamentary system is effective ) They even go on strikes!
It works somehow because the people elect the president directly. If the Congress had to elect the president, I'm not sure they would manage even that ....
And what democracy in Europe is the most powerful? Not the first-past-the-post UK, but PR Germany.
Hitler had finally killed himself five days ago. Most German military units hoped to surrender to the western powers. In castle Itter in Austrian Tyrol was the prison of French VIP prisoners, including the two last French prime ministers and commanders of the armed forces. Now their SS-Totenkopfverbände guards had fled the castle and the prisoners had taken control, but the castle was still in the battle zone and SS fanatics could return to massacre the prisoners. Major Josef Gangl commanded a Whermacht unit in the area. He had two iron cross medals, but near the end of the war he had helped the Austrian resistance. Gangl wanted to help the prisoners in the castle, but he ended up surrendering to the Americans first. He told teh Americans about the prominent prisoners in schloss Itter and the US troops and the German POW's decided to free the castle together! 14 US soldiers with two Sherman tanks (one had to stop and guard a bridge), a German Kubelwagen (their Jeep) and ten German soldiers in a truck fought their way past a Waffen-SS roadblock, drove over the drawbridge and entered the castle. This was the first time in WWII German and US forces fought side by side. That night the American and German soldiers sat at the tables in the mediaval castle and told war stories and discussed the future of Germany. The next morning 100-150 Waffen-SS soldiers attacked the Itter castle. The French POW's were ordered to hide in the bowls of the castle, but refused and joined the fight. This was the last time in WWII that US, German and French forces fought side by side in WWII and the only time in history US forces have defened a medieval castle. The Germans had RPGs and the Sherman tank was blown up. The defenders of the castle also ran out of ammunition. At one time former prime minister Reynaud is seen in one of the towers, right in the line of fire. Major Gangl was shot trying to help him. All seemed lost when Jean Botra, a French POW and champion tennis player, broke through SS lines and contacted US forces there. The American re-inforcements came at the nick of time and won over the SS forces. Why isn't this a movie? :007)

Its definitely a marketing ploy these days.
Put a picture on a bus or two. People are offended. Moral outrage. Pictures removed. Bus Co apologises. Everyone around the country talking about bus company. Job done.
Much cheaper and quicker than some prolonged sensible advertising.
What has been kept quiet is that there is also a half naked male version of the campaign too but everyone seems to be focusing on the female.
I'm more annoyed at companies thinking we the public are so stupid
that we don't know what they're doing. This was a crass bit of advertising
We all know why they did it. Yet they'll put out the old crap about not wanting

I love OTB , Stan and Jack are made out to be these two highly sexed (or at least trying) ) but Jack is one of the ugliest gits ,ever to grace a TV screen.
I know ,all those young birds in mini skirts going oh Stan, oh Jack , was the casting director bloody blind ,on a side note ,one day we,
the wife and I ,was going out ,and she (the wife ) said ,"do I look like Doris Day in this ,to wich I replied no ,you look more like Doris Hare (mum) )
