    And, I went camping last month & bought a camping knife at a local store... it was inexpensive but REALLY nicely styled. When I got home I found another online & ordered it so I could customize the one I got on holiday (in case I effed it up), but to my surprise I made it look okay! I removed the blackened area so I'd feel more comfortable using it to cut food. Throwing it into dead trees is fun, but not too useful.

    Yesterday I had a day trip to the Trollstigen road (Direct translation: "Troll's ladder/ ascent") I have mentioned the area as a good Bond location and I still think it would be great for Bond (could have been an alternative to Solden in SPECTRE). I drove the Trollstigen while listening to David Arnold's Shaken and stirred. It felt very appropriate :007)

    I had an ice cream at the cafe at the top. I imagined it being the location where Madeline Swann (in my mind played by Synnøve Macody lund) had her office.

    Next week she's coming to a book reading close to where I live , and I might drop in to look ..... I mean listen to her. Perhaps I can even get the chance to ask her about her Bond girl auditions ..... ;%

    dangerous animals take to the hills and hide until I'm done. :D

    I use my skills to live off the land finding shelter in a local hotel and

    Watching enless episodes over endless seasons. :# I wouldn't mind but it
    Means I have to watch my box sets of Dexter on the lap top in the kitchen. :D

    I read that British military units will not participate in excercises in northern Norway if it's colder than minus 20 celcius (-4 F). This goes for regular forces and not special forces, but still ... for Norwegians skiing in the mountains in zub minus 20 C is not just for special forces, but even for conscripts in auxiliary units.
    Did you know NATO conciders everything below +4 C (46 F)? :))

    Not sure what the fuzz is all about.
    It's been reported and well known for years that all engines recognize test modi and act accordingly.

    So far this has been done to reach the advertised mileages so who will be surprised that the same is done to limit emmissions.

    Particularly funny I find the outrage in the US which is the country with the highest energy consumption, with the highest rate of trucks and other monsters and leaders who still deny global warming :D

    It's a bit like the Ebola hype from last year 8-)

    Don't know if this is in any of the papers but listening to BBC radio 2 today
    ( I'm so middle aged) :)) They said a con man in the south of England has
    Conned several hotels to put him up free and to give him up to £100 per day
    as spending money ! :o How ?
    By pretending to be a lord, who was a little short of cash ! :)) .... Haven't these
    Hoteliers ever watched Fawlty Towers. :))
