    Yes, indeed.

You can clearly see the wire pulling the zipper in that famous (or should that be infamous?) scene in LALD so it is a bit naff in my view. :D

Ive just ben up the woods with me dawg
    P1040405.jpg
I haven't been for a few days ,my back hurts ,ive started a new tablet ,and it has a bit of a side affect ,I have been sleeping in the sound proof room ,we normally keep the little boy in there ,we don't like to hear him screaming :D
any way ,I was amazed at how quickly ,that the bushes ,ferns ,brambles have grown in 3 days ,ive had to hack my way all round the woods ,and re-clear the paths (it certainly wasn't Kansas there) .it just goes to show ,if you plant something in your garden ,it doesn't grow ,and when you don't want it to grow ,it does ,mother natures a funny thing.
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

Well all this bloody football lark has led me to take the decision to go as far away as practicable in order to escape the worst effects of it & the hype surrounding it. Methinks I may be heading to Jamaica for a couple of weeks or so until the whole thing has blown over. Of course my wife will be coming along too (of her own accord I might add!)

I look forward to the end of the world football championship - then there won't be so much football on TV :D

It's one month, Stag, 10 June - 10 July. There once was a time when the European Championships were restricted to the best handful of teams on the continent, but then greedy buggers got their hands on it, figured they could make more money, and it now has 24 sides and takes as long as the World Cup.

It was two weeks until 1992 and then the greed set in and they expanded it from 8-teams to 16 teams and it became three weeks long. Now it's 24 teams and last four weeks. I'm a footie fan, but I'd much rather it be smaller and shorter.

Just a quick thought aimed at anyone here who has ever been to a England game ,normally on a Saturday afternoon fans from all football clubs will be quit happy to be kicking each others heads in .Now the same fans at an England game are they all of a sudden, the best of mates ???is local rivalry ,put on ice so to speak 8-)

The great thing about N.Ireland is we don't have any of that. If you're caught
wearing the wrong shirt, you're just shot ! ;) hence why I only wear plain T shirts :))

Not so much violence between teams these days in the UK is there? Or maybe in England we just police it better, whereas in Europe so to speak they maybe have less trouble generally so it all kicks off as soon as England fans descend.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the massacre in Orlando, Florida :#
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
Yes. Sad news indeed. Another angry bigot, decides to go to paradise taking as many innocent
people with him as possible. I honestly don't know how to counter or stop these attacks, but it
Seems the killer was known to the FBI. Perhaps if flagged as an extremists, you shouldn't be
    allowed any guns.
The true side of human nature is the lines of people all wanting to give blood . I have posted before
how sick I am of terrorists in all forms, and don't mind if our or any other government, engage in a
Clandestine operation from here on of removing threats by any means.
My thoughts are with the victims.

I hesitate to start any debate about the legal and ethical debate on this, but I feel I have to reply. If the US or any other government start to pro-actively kill citzens with with extremist views (and perhaps guns?) we are on a very dark and dangerous road. That would be a confirmation of the world views of militant militias, the most extreme pro-gun advocates and conspiracy theorists. it would also be the end of true democracy and the rule of law.
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
I too do not whish to start a debate, but perhaps if you have lived through a 30 odd year
terrorist assault, you might have a different opinion. Although, I'll say no more about it.
