By "half," I mean my mother is completely German (her parents both had parents that had moved directly from Germany). My father, I don't really know what he is . . . He says he is Welsh and Irish, but truthfully, I have no idea what his definite origin
    is . . . It's European, let's just leave it at that. :))

How about padawan@msn.net, or Obi1@msn.net. I mean, Dr. Frickin' Evil? Come on. That's not a proper jedi's e-mail address.

Yes well, we Jedi don't exctly like to keep a high profile do we? I'm merely being selective about who knows my power. That way I can betray people very easily :v

    Ps, Padawan@msn.net Really?

What kind of camera did you guys use for the lego shows. I might just try my digital camera and edit it like a picture show. If you guys used webcams, does anyone know how expensive one is (a decent one, not too fancy, just one I can have fun with).
  • one night standone night stand Posts: 127MI6 Agent
I just did a few with my digital camera and it was quite fun. I didnt edit it on my movie maker because it is built for slow picture movies and takes about 6 seconds a frame. I have one with about 40 frames and I just put it in order, now how do I make it go really fast through the frames , because currently I am at about 3 frames per second.
  • Jedi MasterJedi Master UKPosts: 1,093MI6 Agent
I dont know but my webcam was £20 and isn't 100% satisfactory but it works! I'd spend £30-£40 if your kean but it's up to you! You can get different things the more expensive you go like Zoom, auto focus and digitally enhanced picture.

Ok I can't email the movies, they are too big! So I'm going to get someone to help me put them on the internet! It should be done sooner or later!!

This probably wouldn't be very efficient, but you might be able to compress the files to a ZIP file and then email them. All I know is that compressing music files to a ZIP isn't very effective, as it only saves about ten KB . . . WOW. ;)

I don't know much about it as I've never had this problem, but you might be able to find a freeware program that effectively compresses media files. I would just do a Google Search on it.

By the way, all those email addresses previously mentioned wouldn't work, as some of them are msn.net, and I've tried--there is no http://msn.net , it only redirects to http://msn.com . ;) And if there was, those mentioned would most likely be already taken. :) In any case, if MSN/Hotmail doesn't hurry up with that storage upgrade, they're going to lose another customer. ;)
  • Jedi MasterJedi Master UKPosts: 1,093MI6 Agent
Well they have upgraded it and I received an email a few weeks ago from msn saying: Upgrade for free...etc! And when you clicked on the link it said, only $14.99 a month! I get so annoyed sometimes!

Yeah, I got that email, but all it is, is a virus scanner upgrade and Calender upgrade . . . Big deal. The real problem with these guys is their storage space--2MB is just not enough for an email inbox! ;) They keep saying they're upgrading it to 250MB in the Fall . . . I was kind of hoping for them to have it done by the end of Summer. ;) Yahoo had it done already with 100MB storage, but I figure if I wait, someday (key word here ;) ) I will get two-and-a-half times that! :D

Have you all heard of g-mail? A whole 1g of e-mail space. If you'd like one private message me and I'll send an invite your way. I have 5 invites left.
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

So how is everyone? I think it's time we had a roll call for everyone who posts on the thread don't you?! I would just like to know who we've got here! I don't know maybe then it would feel like others couldn't join in the chat!!

I rewatched The Matrix Rev. last night, and I suppose I can see why so many people are disapointed with it but I just (cue orchestra music and back up singers):

Can't help loving that film o' mine!

I just opened a website of mine. It is not great but, I am having trouble running it. Im doing it as a little project to save me from boredom. Hopefully, soon it will be running good and it will be an enjoyable site.

I have finally made my movie with the pictures. It is about twenty seconds, but it is only at six frames per second (I cant edit it any quicker). My brother has a hobby of building lego sets/K-Nex so I just created a story using that. It is quite funny actually.
