Police constable Wayne Marques ,of the British Transport police , heroically injured at London Bridge last month bravely and unselfishly taking on, single handed 3 maniacs ,armed only with his baton .PC Marques was sadly injured but thank god he wasn't killed. Now with all medals gongs OBEs MBEs ect being handed out like sweets to luvvies who have acted in some long forgotten tv soap, I wonder if Wayne will receive the highest award our country can bestow on this brave young man .Also as a side point PC Marques is also a coloured officer ( sorry but there is no other way to put it) and I wonder if in the course of his civilian life with his family ,he has suffered racism, bad service ,wrong looks due to his colour ,I hope not , but im sure in todays attitudes he has .
Thank god for people like Wayne , may his god look after him and keep him safe ,Thank you Wayne you are a true hero
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

In mid-May we got new 100 and 200 crown notes, but it wasn't until today I actually got a few of them my wallet. That's how rarely one handles cash in this day and age....
