Speaking of regulars disappearing...where has MBE been??

I hope she wasn't put off by the Pierce-Sony-2006 debacle. I'm pretty peeved along with others, but she tends to be more touchy about these matters, it seems. Maybe she decided to quit Bond altogether, cold turkey. I know I've thought about it.

Seriously, I morbidly worry when regular posters just drop off like that without the least indication. Realistically, we can't drop by her place to check up on her, can we?

I'm not sure if it was actually filmed in venice, it certainly was set there!

What's going on? Our thread is being used jhust for random bits of trivia to be answered!

But anyway I have a gut feeling MBE will be returning shortly!

    Quoting Cables:
Was FRWL filmed in Venice particularly the ending scene?

Not directly. Terence Young travelled down to shoot backprojection plates there, but neither Connery nor Bianchi ever went to Venice!

OK, Random Chat is getting a bit out of hand while the Trivia Forum is getting empty. Please ask questions like this like there!

Also you could always use the PM for me if you have a question like this. :) Back on tracks...

    Who prefers bananas to oranges?

    I don't like either personally.
  • Jedi MasterJedi Master UKPosts: 1,093MI6 Agent
I like bananas, you can't put oranges on ice cream, and they don't have as funny a name! You can play on banana like this, bananana, or banananananananananana!!!!!

    Bananas hands down.
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

To quote Space Ghost, I like bananas because they got no bones.
  • The CatThe Cat Where Blofeld is!Posts: 711MI6 Agent
Banana, cause oranges are politically incriminated fruits. :D (Don't mind about the last part, this is just the twisted way that a ftuit can be politically incriminated in my country.)

I'll go change my details, but being known as a man woman would be interesting!

Haha, see?! Now asking whether you like oranges or bananas is what I call random chat!!!

Let's have some more random questions..!
  • Jedi MasterJedi Master UKPosts: 1,093MI6 Agent
Where would you rather be, in a spiders nest or a rabbish pile populated by rats?!

Sorry to the squeemish! I'd say the rats, I HATE spiders!

This sounds like a perverted Indiana Jones Quiz. Would you prefer the snakes from Raiders, the bugs from Doom, or the rats from Last Crusade? :))

I'd say it would depend on the spiders. I mean if they are not poisonous, than I'd choose them over the rats!
  • darenhatdarenhat The Old PuebloPosts: 2,029Quartermasters
Yeah, at least you can squash the spiders.
  • AlexAlex The Eastern SeaboardPosts: 2,694MI6 Agent
Now this is my kinda conversation! :D Spiders Nest all the way, for one they aren't rabies infected like a horde of bacteria carrying vermin rats!

And to answer the Indy question, snakes all the way, can't stand bugs or rats.
  • Jedi MasterJedi Master UKPosts: 1,093MI6 Agent
Ok the spiders aren't poisinous but they are big (i cant spell terantulas!) and the rats are free of disease. Neither of them want to bite you or hurt you in any way, but the do seem to want to crawl all over you!

There, hope that clears up all the queries you might have about the question! Oh and there's no bacteria lurking in the rubbish pile either!

  • General_OurumovGeneral_Ourumov United KingdomPosts: 861MI6 Agent
For me, it would have to be between the snakes and the bugs. Rats are disease ridden - and snakes are the least scary thing there - except they were poisoness and the bugs weren't necessarily....

    So.... bugs maybe..
  • darenhatdarenhat The Old PuebloPosts: 2,029Quartermasters
Smaller bugs are more likely to make it into any orifices.
  • General_OurumovGeneral_Ourumov United KingdomPosts: 861MI6 Agent
Perhaps, but I'd be more afraid of death so I'll take on anything else..

    GRRR!
  • Sir Donald MungerSir Donald Munger Posts: 22MI6 Agent
I couldn't stand being near filthy rats for even a second! I'll take the snakes, thank you.
  • SPECTRENumber1SPECTRENumber1 L.O.Posts: 75MI6 Agent
I'd go with the spiders, they could be quashed easy. And I like oranges more than bananas. I hate stuff with bananas in them.
  • Cmdr_EgorunamuckCmdr_Egorunamuck Posts: 22MI6 Agent
Cmdr Eggy once dreamt of pancakes with pre-fried sliced bananas, sliced 3 cm thick, and then dosed with wild honey from Adiliennes. But then CE loves anything sweet. Usually.

I said nothing about snakes guys, just rats and spiders!

Ok ok so lets move on...

Do you prefer Orang-utans or Chimpanzees

I'd go with the chimp, less intellegent, less threatening *glances nervously over shoulder*!

    LoL

Chimps rule! They are so intelligent and funny! Orangutans seem like big scary hobos...
  • Jedi MasterJedi Master UKPosts: 1,093MI6 Agent
    Like your analogy!

Definetely chimps. You can take them on walks and play cards with them. Now try doing that with an orangutan.
  • General_OurumovGeneral_Ourumov United KingdomPosts: 861MI6 Agent
    CHIMPS, because ORANGUTANS are GINGER!
  • Jedi MasterJedi Master UKPosts: 1,093MI6 Agent
There must be a word for the phobia of ginger people! I'll see what I can find!
