    Mrs coop is also working tomorrow until 5pm but she's working from home, this time of year is very busy for adult care social workers.

    We are having our main meal on Christmas Eve (belly pork with black pudding and scallops to start, roast rib of beef with all the trimmings including Yorkshire puddings, Christmas creme brulee, then cheeses) on Christmas day itself we will do presents first, smoked salmon breakfast then to the local pub for a drinks then home so the kids can play and Mrs coop and I can enjoy a few drinks and nibbles. We have loads planned and hope to enjoy a Christmas that lasts longer than the one day.

    Now it makes more sense...a slow build up to Xmas. I prefer the Whiskey Advent Calendars myself. If the holiday is going to drive you to drink may as well have some variety to it. -{

    How do I get my hands on a whiskey Advent Calendar? I need this in my life. I will have to rapidly catch up.

    I know what you mean, I almost bought one for Tomi, that's Jase's army-bro and soulmate.
    But then I thought, no, I create it myself.

    Masters of Malt and Drinks by the Dram have various advent calendars every year. There are ones for whiskey, gin, rum, tequila, etc.

    I've heard the advent calendar done by That Boutique-y Whisky Company was quite good this year.

    Cathay Pacific have got more of my hard earned money but they have come up trumps again with a brilliant deal to upgrade to Business Class.

    My daughter has moved into a lovely new house and now has the room to have us to stay with her so we are going to spend Christmas there this year. It will be great to see the grandkids open up their prezzies. I will be spending my first Christmas back in Blighty since 2013 and looking forward to it.

    When they were moving house my daughter found a cardboard box labelled "Bond Stuff" that I had left with her when I emigrated out here which I have forgotten about so am eagerly awaiting to see what is in it :D

    My son-in-law is picking us up from our hotel in London this morning to spend the holidays (as posted above). I can't wait to open up the "Bond Stuff" box to see what is in there. Just as long as I have not abbreviated the words and it should have been Bondage Stuff :v Merry Christmas to all.
    Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

    They are rather ghostlike. I'm a history nerd and I sometimes try to do this in my head using my knowledge and imagination.

    The new Google Pixel 2 phone has AR stickers , ( Star wars among others ) so now in your photos and videos
    You can have some storm troopers or R2D2 etc in the background or beside you. ;) Apple have a similar
    Augmented reality system. I'm wondering if Eon will in the future release some Bond characters ? After all
    It would be fun to have Blofeld, Jaws or Bond in a few family photos :)) not to mention the many leading
    Ladies. ;%

    I remember sitting in the remains of one of the Roman legions' camps around Massada in Israel, letting the camp come alive in my mind :)
