I'm with you there C&D. We desperately need some Bond news, just something official to keep us going, I've felt so apathetic towards a Bond production in my life.

Don't Sweden want a word with him too? Apparantly British police were invited in to the embassy, I wonder what behind the scenes deals have been done?

I heard the Ecuadorian‘s were getting quite fed up with him living there. Apparently he was being quite a terrible house (embassy) guest and wasn’t cleaning his bathroom or taking care of his cat, was complaining about paying for laundry and internet, and was damaging the building playing soccer and skateboarding (...and I’m surprisingly not even joking here!).

The charges were only dropped because the statute of limitations in Swedish law had run out on the sexual offences concerned, and not because Assange had no case to answer in Sweden. That is a very important point that we need to keep in mind on this man.

Assange has persistently tried to evade the writ of courts in several jurisdictions. I believe this is because he has things to hide and fears losing his liberty in a jail cell. That's the inference I (and I'm sure plenty of others) take from all of his evasions over the years. Hopefully justice in all its forms has finally caught up with him!

Tears from J Clarkson on the last Grand Tour ( Hammond
Also looked emotional) but it will be back. Only with no
Studio or audience, just adventure specials.

This will be a very good week for me. We all know of the Bond25 press ….. event. But another event will be even bigger for me (sacrilege! :o ) One of the biggest viking ships in the world will be launched on Saturday, and I'll be there. Isn't it beautiful? :D
A man in a nearby village is carving the dragon head for the stem, but I haven't been able to visit or find an image on the net.

    Followed by lunch at Frankenstein's.

    IMG-20190501-WA0005.jpg

As many of you will know, my second favourite film series is Frankenstein (hence why my wife is Bride of Barbel, my son is Son of Barbel, we live in the House of Barbel, etc- go look it up) so I was very pleased when the Bride took me to Edinburgh earlier today to see the above robot exhibition and then to eat at Frankenstein's. She had been there with a friend last week and knew this would be exactly my thing.
