Woops, sorry Cat guess I should at least skim the other posts before i post. LOL
Tucson sounds fun darenhat. But I hear you guys are getting some pretty good gully washing rains down there. Is Tucson flooded or is that north of you?
Arizona is a beautiful state. The scenery is excellent, the sky is blue and clear, the sun is warm and not deathly humid like here. And you'll get snow on the cactus palms!
I would thrill to crank up the old landspeeder and just drive all afternoon in the open desert!

Sedona, which is north of here, got some serious flooding. Although we had steady rain over the past few days, it's done little here except fill up our washes (for those of you who actually have water, that's our term for a dry riverbed).
And you bet, Alex! It is a beautiful state!

Hm... I sense Augustus' name hidden in Augsburg.
very good Cat, Augsburg is correct, Augusta vindelicorum named by emperor Augustus.
From there to the Lizard peninsula in the Southwest of England where i live now, only 2 miles from the sea.
I know I have mentioned where I live, but I'll play anyway. It, like cat's city, was three cities merged together, but that is not a well-known fact. We are getting are fill of rain right now with the three rivers overflowing.
Certainly, after such a long time seeing her there... *sigh*
I may try to find a better shot of Frank though. I might get one from the DVD - the one currently displayed is a little stretched, not finest quality, and looks like my Grandfather.
EDIT: The new one doesn't look too much different actually. But the image is just sharper.
Well long time no post for me! I changed my avatar back from the santa claus in accordance with the fact that if you have decorations up after the 6th of January you receive bad luck! Anyway how is everyone? Anything major happening in our lives right now!?
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.

<--- After a long time displaying the beautiful Rosamund Pike, I have decided on a change. Welcome Henry Fonda to my avatar.
Now I remember when the General first posted Ros up there. Oh, way back years ago in 2003 right? She's been there for a pretty long time, so it'll be hard to recognize your posts, General.

Oh sure, she was there for well over a year. I think I put her up when someone invented the "Rosamund Pike Avatars Society" following some sort of mini-craze about her. In fact, I think it was all FROSTY's fault.

Las Vegas in unusually cold (once that blood gets thinned out it takes a while to thicken again).
It has been rainging alot here. This is like the second raniest year.
That's great, it's always brilliant when someone you like notices you isn't it!?
I can't believe it's been over a year, I first posted this thread december 6th 2003 (looking down at the "First post by" bit at the bottom of my screen. Anyway, wow we've been going a long time, well done guys!!

Argh, woops! Well spotted! Well I have just spent several hours ridding my computer of viruses, toolbars and spyware which MSN kindly downloaded onto me when it forced me to download a new version (it said you cannot install this because there is a better version, click here to download it...). I also spent that time reading Jane Eyrem, I'm on chapter 15 and I have to get to chapter 20! Oh and by the by its ten past 1 in the morning! My vision is blurry, I'm going to try and re-install MSN now, please God, don't let it try to kill my pc again! I had to do about 5 seperate things to get rid of everything it did! (Norton internet security, Norton Antivirus (update and full system scan) spybot search and destroy and manually add/remove (obviously using remove) programs menu)
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.
Well luckily in English I was excused from the lesson, and even better it was with a certain someone who I may or may not have fallen in love with ! And I was a bit worried that she didn't really like me, but we had a great time so I'm happy now! |) Save the monkey!

What is the usual temperature this time of year?
Reason I'm asking is that I'm headed to LV in 3 weeks.
I'm getting really annoyed, I can't use MSN anymore, because it tried to kill me! And Windows messenger is terrible! It's like No Frills Airlines! And I still have two toolbars which I did not request on my browser, HELP! I've tried everything! Norton, Spybot, Ad-Aware and even manually deleting files, AAARGH!!

I guess it's really not that bad, depending on where your from. It gets between 30-50 degrees during the day. But it has been raining and so it is cooler, but it is not freezing.
In a community of over 3000 members, someone here has to be good with electrical outlets and such, right ?
How the heck do you prevent a circuit breaker from popping out every five seconds if said circuit breaker only covers one room?
I swear I will go stark raving mad if I have to keep popping it back in again. I've tried using various wedges to prevent the "test" button from popping out, but nothing seems heavy enough to keep the button from popping out. Apparently the Oxford English dictionary and a 10.5 pound atlas just don't apply enough force.
I have a hard enough time trying to read about bacteriophages by lamp light; doing it in the dark is virtually impossible :S.
Flattery will get you nowhere, but don't stop trying.

Hey I'll remember that one that's a good one!
so can I ask, does anyone else have the problem whereby the bottom of the banner at the top is just gray?
