A video of young Norwegians partying on ski holiday in Finland has surfaced, and people in Finland are shocked by Norwegian drinking culture. This is a huge red flag! This is comparable to Americans complaining about your knowledge of geography or Californians (or Swedes) telling you you're too woke. We're in trouble! 😉
Readers Digest has stopped publishing in the UK. The mainstay of reading marterial in doctors and dentists waiting rooms - what will they replace it with?
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
Something is being filmed now on the Atlanterhavsveien (Atlantic Road). We also known Tom Cruise is in the region, but maybe he's just on a parachuting-off-mountains holiday.
Goodness, I thought that was just me as well! I've had those sorts of anxiety dreams for years, particularly in the 15 years or so since I finished my Masters in Law. Sometimes it's an exam, sometimes written work I haven't studied for and have very little time to get written. No doubt the anxiety caused by the real thing still hangs on in my subconscious mind. It just goes to show how much genuine stress these things must cause the brain at the time to still be dreaming about it years later!
"The tough man of the world. The Secret Agent. The man who was only a silhouette." - Ian Fleming, Moonraker (1955).
I'll be forward and promote the story "Partisans in the Arctic", an incredible and true WWII story most Norwegians haven't heard and I suspect next to no foreigners know:
My ironing board literally fell apart. The legs have come off the board. I must get it to the dump this weekend as I keep forgetting. They are quite annoying to set up, you're right.

This is very random: How is the tap water where you live? Here in Norway it's really good. people who buy bottled water are seen as wasteful with money or even stupid.
Tap water in Surrey is hard water. It was odd taking a rare (for me) trip to Manchester and having a shower as it had my hair feeling all soft and lovely rather than scratchy and hard. Not saying the water out of the tap is undrinkable, it's okay for that.

I'm sure they were in the knob about it.

- I just quit my job at the helium factory. I simply don't accept being spoken to in that tone of voice!
try nitrous oxide instead, you can do a good Darth Vader voice after a capsule of that stuff
(note: not serious advice. Kids dont try this at home. but it does work)
I don't like deep conversations either.
Sign of the times that there's a new James Bond book out and no thread on it in the literary section.
Mind you, Kim Sherwood's book(s) do seem a bit like The Miss Moneypenny Diaries, perhaps that's unfair.

Just a quick heads up. Tonight at 10.10pm on Talking Pictures TV 'Goldeneye', the story of Ian Fleming during WW2 starring Charles dance.
Author of 'An Ungentlemanly Act' and 'Execution of Duty'. The WW2 espionage series starring Harry Flynn.

I subscribed for a year once, but got bored with it very quickly.

Thirty years on, yet another dream/nightmare about upcoming exams and the stress of it. Recurring but different cast and setting. And I aced my exams!

😯 You as well??? (Rather more than thirty years for me, though)

The "agent cave" that's at the core of the story:
Ironing boards are quite stressful, aren't they. I mean, sort of setting them up, and the way the covering slips off it and gets tatty with time.

Yes…really bugs me too 🤬🤣

You guys need to get a housekeeper, mine is very good with an ironing board 🤣😁😉
We're not James Bond, sadly. 😔
I would like to congratulate Donald Duck on his 90th birthday and wish him many more happy, active and entertaining years to come!
You give us very best duck! 🦆

Nun but the brave.
That’s a nasty habit 🤗
autograph forger Stan Fitzgerald spotted with a certain president......forgery ring busted in late 90s
The New Dehli police used water cannons to disperse people demonstrating against water shortage. That's just adding insult to injury! 😂
