Yes, it must be something like that. It's never really about what you're literally dreaming about I suppose but something more abstract and figurative than that. A crossword puzzle in a mirror, if you like. I did feel stuck in a rut in my previous job though thankfully I have a better position now. I suppose there is some regret that I didn't do more with my qualifications than I have up to now. There's also the feeling of needing to write more articles as the last ten years have been pretty lean ones creatively for me. Writer's block, procrastination and just generally hating the process of sitting down to write are somewhat responsible for that. Getting older definitely adds to these negative feelings of not being good enough or not having achieved enough in life. As for the "having no trousers in public" dream I'm not really sure what that one's about. Thankfully I've not had that dream for a while.

I don't know, but he shouldn't .... must not be told!

That fits. I remember someone saying on a Bond forum once that Timothy Dalton would be perfect casting for 'The Man with the Glass Head' himself, the villainous ex-actor David Dragonpol from John Gardner's Never Send Flowers. 🙂

The royal family is ready to defend the monarchy, says princess Ingrid Alexandra from the godforsaken base she's doing her military service in. 😄🤣 (just joking. Royals hasn't fired on its population since the bow and arrow days)
We agree not to discuss politics in the forum, and please not I'm not. I'm just pointing out Bondian or rather Bond villain behavior In real life - not talking about politics.
Definitely no politics from me - the site is a much better place without it - but I've always thought that Ian Fleming would have loved Donald Trump, not because of any political affiliation but he'd have seen him as the the perfect template for a villain.
Not only DT, but there's quite a few people in the public eye which I believe Ian Fleming would have paid attention to and who possibly (under different names of course) would have featured in his books.

I heard a great story a couple of days ago! There was a christian youth camp some years ago, and of course there were games/competitions. One game started with everyone getting divided into ten groups, Group one, group two etc. The groups needed to meet up to plan tier strategy, so the boy who had been appointed the leader of Group 6 decided to gather everyone in the kitchen. You need to know the Norwegian word for six is "seks", but it's pronounced like the Swedes spell it: "sex". So he started shouting so everyone could hear it: "Group 6/sex in the kitchen! Group 6/sex in the kitchen!" 🤣
Today the tree that will be placed in Trafalgar Square was cut outside Oslo. This will count as exhibit A for the defense if anyone accuses Norway of sending an ugly tree.

Top Gear - Super Cars (1994)
What a brilliant time the 90's was...
@Napoleon Plural
Aren't dreams fascinating? I had no idea my "not wearing any trousers" dream was so common. Now I don't feel so bad.
It's about 2am here, and I've awoken from a dream where I was a tailor, cutting cloth into jackets etc. No idea where that one came from!
Do you have any pairs of trousers in stock? Asking for a friend.
does dreaming you are a tailor creating trousers for others mean you have confidence to spare?
or are you guarding the secret entrance to UNCLE headquarters?
Maybe it means he's the Tailor of Panama?
Good ideas, guys, better than anything I could think of to explain it.
These scenes from south Africa filmed a few days ago are bizarre wherever you're from:

(Don't ever tell Higgins about this!!!!!)
What, tell @Higgins? Who would tell @Higgins?

Two great bands, I’d have loved to have been at this gig! Circa 1973 I would imagine? Look at that entrance fee - a bit different from today.
Maybe you went to that @Barbel ?
No, my first concert at that venue (later known as the Apollo) was Queen in 1975, and great they were, too.

It's nice to see someone tell it to us straight: He loves goooooold!
I will applaud it if Donald ever tries to rob Fort Knox. 😁
I suppose everyone else is already aware but I've only just realised that Bond films are available on Amazon video as part of the package.

Thank God you stayed away from politics! 🤣🤣🤣

Look at the prices on this Wimpy menu c1973 - I remember taking a date from school to Wimpy and then going to the movies - happy days!
With America so divided, there is an alternative you might consider y'know.

Today I drove to a meeting in the kind of winter wonderland most ofte seen in Christmas cards while I listened to the TLD soundtrack. Good times!
