How can you die by having a biro shoved in your head?
How can you die in a cooker? Even if it WAS turned on. There wouldn't be enough heat. Anyway, how could Zao FIT in a cooker?
Either that, or Christopher Plummer (Captain Von Trapp from the Sound of Music) is explaining calculus to me in some Parisian cafe. I have no idea where that came from, but sadly enough he isn't singing the lesson.

very interesting...CP rocks!

PS. He knows my name, and smiles at me in the hall if I wave or say hi...
After seeing a writeup in the local paper, I discovered that one of my old elementary school friends is apparently in an acoustic-rock band called Scream Out Loud. We live near each other still, but it's surprising to see that she gave up the violin for the guitar and has come over her extreme shyness. You can listen to some of their songs here: http://www.purevolume.com/screamoutloud
I just have no idea what she's singing...
Flattery will get you nowhere, but don't stop trying.

Hey I'm not knocking his wisdom, I did quite the oposite! I love random facts, I'm building a huge archive of them! For example there is a new form of air travel being invented in which a beam of light is shone on the bottom of a craft which makes it fly! If you want to know how read on:
The beam of light is super intense but the bottom of the craft is designed to magnify it further (by reflecting it closer together and stuff!). This creates a large amount of heat which causes surrounding air particles to explode or something. Anyway that makes the thing go up. Also it is designed so that it spins and stays level. Sadly as of yet they haven't managed to work out a way of making it come down safely! It just freefalls! The last I knew was that they had moved on from their 4 inch wide model (which flew up to heights of something like 100ft) and were perfecting a 2 or 3ft one! But this needs a beam of light 100 times as intense, or something!
Anyway that's HOW FOR NOW...
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.
never posted in the random chat... but i had a very random thought today that i thought id share. while watching full house today, i realized that all i could think of during the opening montage is the final scene from AVTAK. is that good or bad?

It's probably a good thing. If it took your mind off of Full House. Ok I'm sorry. Bad attempt at humor.

Sorry about that Cat. My friend was over and I went out the room to get a drink and she posted that on! I WILL probably forget it quite easily though. I always seem to do that with facts. Quite interesting though. I also found Jedi Masters fact about the flying thing (can't remember the name!) interesting.
Erm...I don't really have any random facts except that you eat about 8 spiders every year! They crawl inside you when your asleep! Cool, eh? )
I don't know its name! And that's 8 spiders in your life isn't it?
Lets have a random facts competition, everone post random trivia! For example I am about to post a trivium, the singular of trivia! (like bacteria/bacterium)

T(ime) + 20 seconds: a large amount of water is pumped onto the launch pad and sprayed about with sprinklers. When the shuttle launches the majoroty of the smoke before it lifts off is merely water vapour. The water is there to make sure the platform doesn't overheat and the dampen the sound.

Well, here's a topic that should help! see this: "Nick Nack Killed Himself." It's a slightly old topic, but it should give you the answer you're looking for!

Anyone know the whereabouts of the 'Now in CD player' thread. I searched around the past couple pages and the search feature and couldnt find it.
As for the "Now Playing on my CD Player" thread, after checking Google, I've come to conclude that it has been deleted . . . Or possibly misplaced, or something else to that effect--when you click the link off of Google, it just says "Forum Error." Something might have gotten messed up in the server cleanup, or it might have just been considered too random and unnecessary that it was deleted. If you really want to know, you can check with SiCo, as I'm sure he'd know.

Oh, I almost forgot my random fact! Let's see. . . . It's estimated that if someone who spent a dollar per day on cigarettes (smoking a little less than half a pack a day, depending on what cigarettes the person buys) were to quit smoking, over the course of fifty years, that person would have saved around $700,000! Though I don't remember the exact figure, or the years. . . . Either way, it's quite a bit of money that people spend on smokes, isn't it?
Can anyone tell me what track is this: It's a rock guitar variation of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Turkish March, but since I heard this track, I couldn't find out who did it or what's the title. Please help.

What is a biro?
Biro is named after it's Hungarian inventor, László Bíró, who came up with the ballpoint mechanism. Zep, we Hungarians are everywhere.
