Well I've got an interview to be a senior prefect on Friday so I have to write a 2/3 minute speech. I really need to write to my french exchange partner as we leave on Saturday. I have english coursework to do for some time soon. And I'm sure there is something else as well...
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.
Right I wrote the letter for my exchange partner, now to pay for it to get to her by saturday! I thought I'd use the bible for some inspiration for my interview type speech. Does anyone know any good references about teamwork or being part of a community?

my ongoing struggle with love..and state testing...'til thursday....bleah...good news tho, i NEVER have to take another math CSAP ever again!!! *dances*
I did know that Bond himself wasn't The Man With the Golden Gun (Scaramanga was), but the reason I said that was that I just didn't know what Roger_Moore was refering to. But he probably knows more about the Bond Films than that, considering his username, so my apologies to you, Mr. Moore, should I have somehow offended you.
But yes, I have seen some references (not on this site) that were probably from people who didn't know better, in which they refered to Bond himself as the Man with the Golden Gun.
You know you've been studying for a US history exam for too long when Theodore Roosevelt and Franklin D. Roosevelt start arguing over who was the better president in your dreams.
And on a totally different note, if I didn't know any better I'd think that it was summer. Somehow I managed to sunburn my nose a few days ago. Here in northern California we've only got three seasons...
Try to resist the urge to throw any snowballs at me :P
And General, the Shakespeare production that you described previously sounds eerily like my school's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Flattery will get you nowhere, but don't stop trying.
Excellent, and I've just thought of a response to what the General said when I said: "When 900 posts you reach, feel so good you will not."
He said something like: "I'm on 1200 posts and I feel great!"
I should have said:"Reached your second wind you have."
I know it's not very good but I thought I best share that with you!

I can't throw any snowballs at you. Unless I went to Lake Tahoe. Is it still snowing up there?
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

Plenty snow here in Scotland. Sometimes I think we've only got ONE season, and it ain't summer. Oh wait a minute, we did have summer last year- I think it was on a Thursday.
This next part is totally true- a couple of years ago, the sun did come out for one day only. The next day, a local paper's headline read "Scots confused by strange sight in sky. Large yellow ball seen by millions."

I hate the weather in the midlands! I hate it practically everywhere in Britain!
We've always got rain or winds or something or other! And even if I go to say Wales, it always rains! The same for Cornwall!
That's why, at the first possible chance, I'm packing my bags and popping over the Atlantic to you Yanks...permanently!
I'll get a nice little house somewhere in Florida. Orlando or Florida Keys.
I'll get a good look at Florida again soon...we're going next year!
I love it there! Not too hot and DEFINETELY not too cold!
Anyway... I never got Daffy's autograph last time. )
Has Random Chat truly degradated to discussing the weather? This is the World Wide Web! There must be something exciting happening in somebody's life! Me? I'm working hard to wrap up two restaurant projects: a logo design for a Vietnamese restaurant called Miss Saigon, and a website for another place called Chopstix Asian Diner. I'll let you know when the website is up and running and post a link. That will keep you guys from comparing tan lines for a little bit anyway.
(And for anyone interested, I finally put together a links page on my own webpage http://www.darenhatfield.com.
Don't worry, Cat! Your site will be listed eventually!)
Congrats, Darenhat! I'm afraid that I'm the one who's started this nonsense about the weather :P Then again, this is coming from the person who once asked for help on fixing circuit breakers on this very thread...
What's on your remix, Cat? I'm eager to find out .
I'm attempting to do a medley of music from the TV series, the Prisoner, for my hand chime choir. So far we've done the Radetsky March, and I found an arrangement of the series title theme. None of my fellow Penguins have any idea about what I'm doing. That would be telling .
Flattery will get you nowhere, but don't stop trying.
How nice of you! In that case, I shall give you a big glomp, as well!
But I've never seen or heard of a film or play called Hairspray. . . . Could you perhaps tell us about it, Pendragon?
By the way, I like your site, Darenhat! I especially like the James Bond Monopoly! A "Q-Branch" version of a Chance card, how cool is that? It'd make Q proud!
While I'm at it (I'm trying to get all this random stuff into one post, you see ), your Bond Remix sounds interesting, Mr. Cat! Could you tell us about it?
Thanks for the comps on the Monopoly board. I'm working on a Second Edition. The board is done, but I'm still working on the cards. When it's finished, I'll post a fresh link!

LOL, I just remembered the "I was in Paris last night" joke, and seen in the same context, it makes Bond look rather happy. )

Now for something intresting in my life.
Also, I'm doing a Bond remix called Golden Gate (Max Zorin's Intuitive Improvisation). It's going to be awesome.

It's an electronic instumental remix of Golden Gate Fight from AVTAk, featuring bits of dialogue from the movie.
