Well, it depends if you want to know exactly what is going on all the time! I wouldn't say you wouldn't be able to appreciate the film having not seen the others. I might suggest it is more important to view episodes 1 and 2 though.
So what do you guys think of the new Anakin/Vader Avatar!?
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.

Wonderful explanation! Is it necessary to see all of them to understand the plot in episode 3: Revenge of the Sith?
Absolutely, I strongly suggest you find and watch Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999), despite how awful it is, and Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) before seeing Revenge of the Sith. Otherwise, little to nothing will make sense.

It seems that Jedi is changing his avatar almost daily! )
BTW, thanks for all your information. I'll try and borrow the previous films off my mate. He's a big Star Wars fan.
Always moving are the Jedi. Never still.

I have good news! My brother was looking at some of our old videos and he found a Star Wars one out! Taped off the TV. I'm going to watch it later. I also remember having the end of one on tape. The beginning was recorded over with Mary Poppins, Rugrats and some other garbage!
I remember it having this guy in it who was totally red and looked like an alien. Any idea who it might be?
The one I have here (the full of) just says on it: Star Wars 2 ll. So I'm guessing it means episode 2. I dunno.

The 'red guy' can only be Darth Maul, in which case the film is Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. If the second one you have is indeed Episode II, that is great, because you are set-up for Episode III now.
The force has brought this together. Nothing happens by coincidense.
I made a test to see how powerful you are with the force, does anybody want to do it? I'll paste a link in if so!

Yep. That's the red guy.
And I have bad news. It wasn't episode 11, it was episode v and someone has taped Ant and Dec over the beginning of it! X-(
I will have my revenge!
Also something I don't get is: why are episodes lv, v, vl, before episodes l, ll, lll?

It's just the way they were made. George Lucas made Episodes 4, 5 and 6 first, probably because he wanted to begin the films in the middle of the action. 16 years after Episode 6 was released, he decided to create the first three episodes, the prequels.

That's just weird!
I'm posting early because I'm not at school again today. I feel awful.

Now I'm getting bored. I came to ajb. Then I went to the Doctor Who website. I got bored there and then came back here. I'm all alone here and it's not like it was on Friday when I was off school. Jedi and Vanquished were here during there IT lesson!
I could go watch TV. I won't be able to once my dad gets up. He's got something wrong with his foot, so all Friday and the weekend, he's being sitting on the sofa, with his foot on a stool, watching TV.
Or maybe I'll get dressed.
Hey, what time does your Friday IT lesson start and end? I have IT on Friday mornings. Maybe I can talk to you during it and escape the usual boredom!

Lucas is going to have a tough time on his hands considering that this Star Wars episode he's releasing is going to be the last one...
Then he'll probably release something like Rise Of The Jedi - A Prequel to Star Wars.
Or release something like "Gulf Wars" or "Sea Wars" as a spin-off!
Or do nothing at all if the film bombs and nobody bothers to watch it...
I wonder what will happen. Perhaps it'll be the end, but maybe two years from now I'm going to look back at my thoughts and eat my words.
If you want a really good prequel, play Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 on either XBOX or PC.

By the way, Hardyboy, what does your sig mean? Vox Clamantis in Deserto. I can't figure it out, because clamantis is second person, while vox is in the nominative. The subject verb agreement doesn't seem to work... I'm confused. Any help? Please? The voice you were in the desert? It doesn't really make sense to me.
What is? What is? If you mean episode 2 I'm a very happy bunny because I haven't had a chance to see it!

Ooo! I bet they're going to show them all! They always show the presequels to films, when the new one comes out. I remember it happening with Oceans 12! If it is that way, then I now have something good to watch on a Saturday night!
Even better, it's the day after my mates' birthday!
I mean the only time I've seen it was when it came out, in the cinema! Which is pretty much a compromise between the two! You see when I saw it I thought it was alright, but then everyone said it was rubbish! Also I like DAD when I saw it for the first time in the cinema, but I really don't anymore! Didn't stop me preordering it when it came out on DvD though!
Anyway yeah that's what I meant! And are they showing the entire saga? Because if so I will definately record it!

Me too. I haven't got any of them, seeing as I found out the other day, that the last one got taped over. As well as taping them, I think I might actually watch them as well.
That's even better! There's a diary date then! I'll categorise it as essential, highest priority. My French exchange partner can take herself to the train station, I'm watching Star Wars!

1977: Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
1980: Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
1983: Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
1999: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
2002: Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
2005: Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
On another note, I almost have my new avatar up. I've been Star Wars MAD lately, so it's a Star Wars theme for me, for a while at least.
Sending Captain Hook to walk the plank after his brief appearance, so say "Hello" to...
