Aah well, I was rooting for Maria as well, for obvious reasons! And because I just like her!

Precisely! It was the "obvious reasons" that I started supporting her, but now I genuinely support her because she's a great player and personality.

hey...question..why are Dads such jerks when they don't have their way all the time?? Mine wanted me to go to Quizno's with him to get a snadwhich...and i hate quizno's...and i told him so and he just stormed out of the house in a huffy mood claiming that he had to return a video...and that was like...20 minutes ago...and blockbuster is like a block away...anywho...Krupke-Bear is home today! and i will see him tomorrow..!

Perhaps he was dissapointed that your loathing of Quizno's was greater than your desire to spend time with him. I can see how that could sting.

This weekend, after a long time of waiting, I am finally going to see Star Wars episode 3: Revenge of the Sith.

Did you like Star Wars 3, Revenge Of The Sith FL007?
  • Napoleon PluralNapoleon Plural LondonPosts: 10,467MI6 Agent
Well I saw it last week and while the visuals were great, the script, especially with Anakin and Pashmin or whaterver her name was, seemed deliberately bad. Which was a shame, as that was the lynchpin of it all.

McGregor wasn't so bad but still stilted and frankly uncharismatic. That was a problem with this film, lack of charisma.

The visuals were really too much as well. Lucas had to fill every space of the screen almost all the time.

Didn't find the transition to the dark side very convincing actually. You can only explain it with anakin having a real breakdown or deep psychological trauma. It just wasn't done too convincingly.

Still, the final bit where it seques into Star Wars Ep 4, with the Peter Cushing lookalike, was intriguing.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see it. The cinema decided to stop showing it! It totally sucked and so I saw War of the Worlds instead. Compared to what Star Wars would of been, it sucked.
Today, most people now seem to think I'm an alcoholic or something. I told my mate that I had around 2 and 3/4 of Shandy on Friday night (a pint of which was in a pint glass, so everyone kept asking if it was larger!), at a wedding party. It's dead annoying! They reckon I got drunk and I didn't! I am stating this now and officially:

I AM NOT A DRUNK OR AN ALCOHOLIC!!!

This is fantastic! I've just (well around half an hour ago) got my dad to set up an account on ebay! It's great! :D Everything looks so cheap and I've already bid for something that I desperately want. :D he fact that it's signed by 3 cast members has nothing to do with it! OK it does a bit, but I also want to see it itself. So what if it's VHS, it still sounds great. I've already found something else I want to bid for and it won't be long before I shout "DAD!". :D
I came up with our username as well. Well I say 'our', but legally, I can't use it on my own, so that's why I shout for my dad. I did the same thing when we registered on Amazon, and I started ordering loads of Bond videos. :D
    I can't wait until I start selling! :D

    Laundry detergent: $4.19
    Stain remover: $3.17
    Laundry bag: $8.99
Total cost for using a washer and dryer: $2.00
Being photographed lugging a gigantic bag with your roommate and her gigantic bag by those crazy tourists in Harvard Square because your dorm is too old to have laundry facilities: priceless

I won it! I won the signed Doctor Who DVD I bid for! I didn't win the other DVD which I eventually bid on. My dad said I had to go to bed and he'd try and bid for me. So he did and I still didn't win it. I'm going to bid on another slightly cheaper one though and will hopefully win that, as when I try to get it anywhere else, it says I'd have to pay £20 for it!

    You think that's bad?

My friend (well the director of a show I'm in) has a 2 or 3 year old son and today, while we were rehearsing, he came up to the door and shouted:
    "HELLO MOTO!"

    ?
Anyway... I think because the end of term is near, our teachers are purposely giving us mountains of homework! They are also freaking us out and today, I swear one was on drugs or something! :)) He's married to one of the teachers from my Primary School and he's flippin mental! :o
Today was kind of good, as the Y6's had their Induction Day! They are so tiny! :DThey came into our Geography lesson and then the teacher got rid of them because she said they were distracting us. Duuuuuuuurrrr!!! That's the idea! :)) I can't wait until next year and my brother comes up for his Induction Day. It'll be so funny! :))

aww I always love when younger kids come to tour my Highschool...my techers all get really nice and sugary...even though they may not be that way normally...and we all laugh...They are TINY though! hehe little kids are cute!

    ~PD

PS. I especially love it when they come in to see an afternoon play put on for their benifet, and if we give them tours they are compleat;y in awe of the auditorium, this makes the company feel really important for some reason!

They find our school so big! But I know it is compared to theirs. I remember losing myself loads the first week. And the older students who were suposed to be helping us out (!) were absolutely no help whatsoever! Though I was one of the only people who could get to tutor for registration, without getting lost... :D

lol, i try to be the nice big kid and point them on their way, except if I am horribly late for class myself, then I try to blow them off as nicely as possible.

I feel like total cr@p! I feel as though if I breathe my mom's gonna tell me to shut up. And if I say anything whatsoever to her, she starts having a go at me! I want her to just die and leave me and my bro alone forever and ever! X-(

    Uhh, yikes, harsh words there.

It's interesting working out the speed each member posts, on average. By that I mean an average of how many posts members are making per day.

I worked out that I make roughly 3.7 posts per day, which isn't a great deal really. The Cat makes about 8.3 per day, and Hardyboy about 5.6. As you are aware, I had a fair bit of extra time to waste on this. :))

lol, i feel that way about my mom sometimes...eh...i make about 3 posts a week, anly cuz my computer is dead and my mom hates me using her's, which I do use in the late nights when she is asleep! On another note...

I WENT TO RENESSANCE FEST TODAY! guess who I met there? Cap'n Jack Sparrow! the guy had the walk, the costume, and the voice perfectly...my buddies and I got pics with him! hehe

I wonder how much i make

According to my calculations.. 3.0 posts per day.

Pendragon.. 1.05 posts per day - you're right, that's not a great deal. You should try and drop by more often!

Actually, the "ALL NEW BOND TALK" thread was created after ours, and has overtaken us, and so it's probably pointless trying to cath it back up just for the sake of it.

So that's why you were looking at all those profiles, General! I must say I'm astonished at my rate. This might indicate that I don't have a life which is partially true, but I have such a good time. :) Oh, and might I add I didn't post on Three Words. ;) :))
  • General_OurumovGeneral_Ourumov United KingdomPosts: 861MI6 Agent
Ah, well, the famous "Three Words" topic (RIP). I did post there from time to time, when I saw an opportunity to post something amusing. But several members posted there frequently - that's not the correct way to get your post count up. It should be done through well thought, and well structured posts, as written by yourself, Mr Cat! ;)
