GO, how long did your calculations take? And whom did you do them for?
  • TracyTracy the VillagePosts: 369MI6 Agent
Most people probably know this, but...

Drinking a lot of caffeine on an empty stomach sort of late at night is a bad idea. I don't think I'll be doing that again anytime soon...

Divide your post count by the number of days you have been a member. Of course, the hard part is working out the number of days you have been here for. As for yourself, Nightshooter, you make roughly 12 posts per day, which is a massive amount.

I too, have found that to be the case, Tracy. Quite unpleasant, I will agree!

Yes, and late at night when you're cathcing up on work, and are trying to stop yourself from falling asleep! I'm sure it happens to many people, though I usually drink tea, being British. :D

I'm rather fond of tea myself as it's an important aspect of my culture, but generally I prefer to actually drink it while eating some actual food. I tried to get some tapioca ball (also called boba) iced tea yesterday night, but they accidentally got me some iced coffee stuff instead. It's amazing that I managed to even wake up this morning for my 1 PM class-my roommate was kind enough to get me up!

I must admit that I am especially fond of traditional afternoon tea. I remember when I was younger and lived in Hong Kong for part of the year, my mother would take me to the Peninsula for tea if I was being especially well behaved. Hong Kong was still a British colony then. It's a pity that there aren't as many places to have tea here in the US, but I do enjoy baking scones :)

It's interesting working out the speed each member posts, on average. By that I mean an average of how many posts members are making per day.

I worked out that I make roughly 3.7 posts per day, which isn't a great deal really. The Cat makes about 8.3 per day, and Hardyboy about 5.6. As you are aware, I had a fair bit of extra time to waste on this. :))

Dear General, it's not all about quantity you know. My 2.5 approx daily posts are worth a thousand of yours, six hundred and sixty six of Hardyboy's and four hundred and fourty four of The Cat's.

    Moore (Quality) Not Less :D

Replace the word "quality" with "b*llsh*t" and you've got it dead on. :D ;)

Shame on you General, for not spelling brilliant correctly.

Shame on you General, for not spelling brilliant correctly.

But you didn't say brilliant, you said "quality", which I did spell correctly.

Oh, by the way, glad to see you're fully returned to the forums MNL. Been a bit dull lately in your absence!

In deed. Now I must finish posting for a while because there's no place for TWO quality posters at the same time. The others might confuse our replies because of their quality. 8-)

I have been visiting AJB as frequently as ever, just not posting as much. It's mainly been due to the lack of news regarding Casino Royale and who will play James Bond. This endless waiting, at times it feels like DAD was made twenty years ago.

I'm adicted to ebay once again! Once I've got my parents permission (yeah, it sucks, but they do pay), I've got around 8 items I want to bid on. I better hurry - one's ending soon. Wish me luck! :)
    Relax darling, I'm on top of the situation -{

Oh, by the way, glad to see you're fully returned to the forums MNL. Been a bit dull lately in your absence!

Now you see what I think has really happened here is as follows:

I haven't been around lately (what with being on work experience and being in the late stages of a show I've had very little time, not to mention energy). Anyway you didn't conciously notice, all you thought was that it was a bit quieter and when MNL returned you thought it was because of his absence when in reality it was really mine which made things boring.

Oooh it's good to be back in a place where nobody minds if you talk rubbish for no reason! I'm feeling a little down in life at the moment, don't know why, here are some factors:
My drama teacher is leaving school this year so I will have a new one, and I really like him!
I'm really tired all the time and I have hardly any free time to do nothing (one of my favourite things to do)
My parants are "Spending some time apart".

    I dunno, I'm just in a rut, it'll pass!

    How is everyone else though?
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.

My dear Jedi, modesty is not one of your finer points.

Being serious for a moment. I am sorry that you are in a rut and I hope that it is only temporary. Try to look at the positive things in your life, no matter how small they may seem.

Yeh you wanna be trying not to do that now really don't you!

It's so nice to be so welcome, and thanks for your sympathies MNL, most appreciated.

I'm soooo tired, I'm performing Bouncers next week, and we have one more rehearsal, all day Sunday, between now and then. The director cut our last one 2 hours short in a bit of a tantrum because we didn't know our lines! (some less so than others!)

Anyway more pointless internet games for me!!

Break a leg on your show, JM :)

I seem to attract the attention of all of the nice weirdos around Harvard Yard just when I'm trying to get some real work done. Perhaps I ought to wear a sign saying "You shouldn't go mad in trying to keep yourself from going mad. It's best to give in and save your sanity later" to deter them?

You can not use it from Hungary. There...
  • Jedi MasterJedi Master UKPosts: 1,093MI6 Agent
How about the fact that you can really easily get scammed on there and everything you buy is second hand and it can get really expensive if lots of people want it. Also it's really easy to go on a spending spree without realising, and blow a load of money that you meant to save!

Sorry I don't use Ebay so I was just justifying that to myself!

I want to spend. I have loads of cash I want to give out for James Bond stuff... They just don't take it. I can't just buy books from them because I can't pay them. Stupid PayPal won't allow me to. But it has a good side as well. I have to order them directly from the authors, resulting in cool personal dedications. Sweet. :D

Indeed, well JM, I don't like people wishing me good luck, as an experienced performer. I see no use in it; it's not a matter of luck. I'm sure you'll do well though, give it your best!

I had a dream last night - what d'you reckon it means?
I was at the cinema, sitting at the back with my boyfriend. After a while I cuddled up nearer to him. Then we started snogging. After a while these girls came by and tried to shove us out of our seats so we pushed 'em off. Later they came back. One sat in my chair. She was a girl in my year, from my school. So I punched her in the face. It kind of gets a bit blury after that...
Any idea what it means? ?:)
