Now, Mr. SFF, my freshman year was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. ;)

Anyway, how's Random Chat doing these days. I haven't been here in 6 months, the last time I saw, we were on page 140-something. All these new features on AJB are kind of confusing having to adjust to all of them at once. Obviously, there's a whole boatload of new members I haven't met.

So, Jedi Master, Jen, Dragon, what's new?

Im gonna be a junior! ^^ Freshmen year wasn't all that bad, what with hardly anyone upperclass outside theatre noticing me, which was ok, cuz most theatre people are awesome! Anywho, I don't start school till the 26th or 7th, I forget which is fresmen day...my start day is the last day of that week...I go to see Wiz of Oz @ Dinner Theatre now! Ta!

    Ouch, MNL. :)

I don't have school for a month, and I will hate to go back. I am finally getting my golf swing into groove, which is good. I hope I have enough time to make it consistant before school starts.

Well softball just ended for the summer. We won the Wisconsin U-16 league and got a cool trophy and all that jazz. So it was a great way to end my U-16 career. I just hope I can keep the groove Im in for hitting going. I can't believe how well Im seeing the ball.

But anywho, I'm still here Tirpitz, and it's been an eventfull summer for alot of us in different ways. I just hope they break the ice on who is gonna be Bond here. Bond has kinda sliped out of my mind for a while except when I come here.

Hey SFF, frosh year is easy and fun. Just watch out for those seniors, they can be pushy. :D
Sorry thats me this year, Senior...baby, wahoo!
Hey Pen, be afraid, be very afraid, Junior year sucks. It was really hard for me, it was the first year I didn't get onto Honor Role all four quarters.

    Stay cool you guys.
  • PendragonPendragon ColoradoPosts: 2,640MI6 Agent
Well, Congrats, ILP, on you win! And I know that junior year sucks, but it also means I'll be an upper level theatre student (in trust value) and that I will be noticed at last by the rest of the school who ignore sophomores. ^^ I went to and Iron Maiden concert a few nights ago...it was AMAZING! OMG I am such a fan girl! lol...well, it's off to camp to play with hyper children for me! Ta!

Wow, thats got to be exciting. I know how bug you are into acting.and hey the other good thing about Junior year is that you are an upper classmen and you get to a tad more pushy. lol.
Have fun with the tiny-tots. :D

No need to worry about freshman year, guys. It's sophomore year that's the long haul-if you can survive that, then perhaps you'll survive junior year :))

No, seriously. Freshman year, the teachers will attempt to baby you somewhat so that you can transition into high school. I've never dealt with freshmen hazing or anything scary like that, so perhaps I'm taking an overtly optimistic view; people tend to view the freshmen at my school as cute and easily disillusioned. Sophomore year no one will cut you any slack and no one really pays attention to you. You start getting the harder classes at any rate. Once you're a junior, people tend to be more sympathetic because you have to start worrying about college. When in doubt, you can always come up with the "I have so much work in my other classes that I couldn't quite finish my paper/project for this one" excuse.

Not that I've ever used that excuse before, mind you :P Junior year was actually a lot easier than I had expected it to be even though I was taking AP classes for the first time. Frighteningly enough, my AP classes combined sometimes felt easier than my honors classes! I actually found biology more challenging than chemistry at times; I took (simplified) physics freshman year.

As for senior year, I have no idea. At least you're practically done with satisfying core requirements and can actually take the courses you want. It's mostly the college application drama that's supposed to drive you insane.
Flattery will get you nowhere, but don't stop trying.

    LOL
At our school, all freshmen are treated like they are really stupid. I kindof feel sorry from time to time but then I get annoyed because for the first month the halls are a mess because all of them stop in the middle to talk and they move so slow it takes twice as long to get to classes. Sometimes I wish it was Hogwarts just for the secret passages.LOL

But seriouslly, dont worry, after the first week of getting used to things, it's pretty simple and by the time your a Senior, you feel like you just got here and just got used to it.

Tracy you and I have some science classes backwards. Frosh year was Physical Science for me, then Bio, then Chem, now I'm in Physics. Which for the end of the year project we take a trip to Six Flags and thats our homework. hehehe. by th by Tracy, how did you make out on those AP Tests. I did like I predicted unfortunatly...2's. I was hopeful for the best but knowing my luck I probably got some cranking young guy that had been grading all day or some picky old fart like my teacher.
  • PendragonPendragon ColoradoPosts: 2,640MI6 Agent
Freshmen are like that at my skool too. They love to stop in the halls once they work out where their classes are, and it bugs me cuz I happen to like getting to class on time so I don't get in trouble. And they also think that ditiching is the way to go, so the guys at least are hardly in class. Gurr...anywho, I had a great time with the tots today, Jen, cuz I only had them for one hour! They trashed the Drama room, but it was a happy mess...^^

LOL, cool Pen, yeah whenever I babysit some little tikes they play in there play room, make a mess, have some pizza, then fall asleep watching a movie. It's not to bad cuz they have to pick the mess they make up. LOL. They're fun to watch though.

So are you gonna get the lead character this year in the play?
  • PendragonPendragon ColoradoPosts: 2,640MI6 Agent
Me? No, but I hope to get a crew head position...I'm not really an actor...just walking up on the stage while the lights are on is enough to make me freeze up. I'm only an actor in front of my mirror. ^^

I make it a point to tell the group's counselor at camp that I am not responisible for the mess, and if said group wishes to leave, they must clean. My "mentor" (the counselor I was with) said I hadn't quite figured out a way to communicate with the kids yet...which is all BS...All the other counselors I've worked with have said that they have no idea what they would have done if I weren't there...It was just always so early when I had groups in the Drama class..eh, whatever.

I'm jealous that you actually get to do "physics" at an amusement park! :D My school just happened to reverse the bio-chem-physics order for my year and everyone younger than us, so there you go. Sadly I have no room in my schedule to take any science classes this year or else I would be in AP biology or chemistry.

I'm pretty happy with my AP grades, but I took the tests in my strongest subjects so I'll probably die on my Calc exam next spring!

    Heyloooo, I'm back! Woot!

How is everyone here then? Been on or going on holiday soon? Happy belated b'day Pen! Did you have a good time?!

I'm currently trying to keep up with the 3 pieces of coursework I was set over the summer (how unfair is that!) and trying to get good at playing me trumpet so I can go busking and maybe earn a few pennies!
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.

I did have a good b'day, thank you Jedi. I need to play my trumpet again so I can get my chops back before skool starts again. ^^

    Woooohooooo!!!!!!!! I'm in Cyprus!
Yeah my dad's won this prize so we've gone to this place and they said we could play on the computers! It's our last day so we're in a place called Aga Napa,I think it's called. After we're off to do some shopping - the football kits are dead cheap here. :D Then we'll be back to the pool.
I've had a great time, but have been missing my mates and the Internet loads. Not to mention more than one channel of TV where they speak English! :))
I've been almost drowning the Entertainers - everyone else I've met helps too. :D
I'm looking forward to getting back though. I've missed everyone too much. But from here I'm going to miss the great weather, pushing Chris the Entertainer in the pool, and having a half pint of Shandy every night. :(
Well, Thursday I'll be back on my own computer. I've just realised, whilst it's 11:45 for me, it's only 9:45 for everyone in England! :))
I'll be flying back tomorrow but have had a real great time! :) :) :)
    Relax darling, I'm on top of the situation -{

I'm back at the hotel now and have got bored of the kiddies entertainment, so I thought I'd come back! :D Right now I'm in the reception on the computer but I can still here the gay entertainer, Chris. Man, I'm going to miss this weather! :(

Way to go Pen! i still havn't figured out how Tirpitz got by me. Guess I should get on my horse and post alot since he hasn't been on lately. LOL. nahh.

Yeah I just got back from Green Bay Packer Training camp. I met sooo many of the players. I met Ryan Longwell (hot) and KGB, and Javon Walker. hehe. But no Brett Favre. :( He sneeks around so no crowds mob him for autos. Oh well. ahhhh I love the Packers! :D and to bad about Terrel Owens, the Eagles will fall apart this year. hehe. :p

By the way Pen, I sen you an email a few days ago, did you get it? or did some unsuspecting soul get it by me typing the wrong email?

The Green Bay Packers are a load of wimps, even George W would beat them single-handed. Why don't you support a real team with real men who no how to play football........The Dallas Cowboys!!!!! :D

I don't follow American Football as much as I used to. I was a big fan from the late 1970's to the early 90's. I used to listen to the games every Sunday night live on the American Armed Forces Radio. Then I started to watch the games regularly when they were first broadcast on tv over here. However, over the years I have gradually lost interest to the point where I rarely watch anymore. I know very little about the teams and players nowadays.

Well no wonder you two dont watch anymore. You guys totally don't know who the best Quarterbacks are anymore. Brett Favre all da way! Manning for the Colts isn't bad either. I respect him, he's good, but he's not the legend Brett Favre is. Ok you guys take a look at the team when they play, lets see do you guys get FOX or ESPN? I would think you would, hmmmm...

Sunday Sept 11: in Lambeau against Tampa Bay Bucs. 12 (CT) (6pm England time) on FOX. I will be attending this game so watch for a crazed fan in one of the endzome seats when Donald Driver does the Lambeau Leap. That is the third Regular Season Game. You guys should have a look.

The Cowboys... BAH!... They lost there edge when they lost Emmit Smith to, shall I dare say it, The Cardinals. *shudder*

Don't take me on in American Football MNL.

    I will school you.

I'm back! I got back, stepped outside the airport to look for the taxi driver, and it was freezing! :))
I was also totally upset, when I found out that my video hadn't taped properly! :'( I set it to tape the 2 Doctor Who episodes (Time and the Rani and Paradise Towers both with Sylvestor McCoy), and when I was looking through to check it had taped properly, I saw that it had just taped black! :'( 2hours and 15 seconds of black! :'(
This has so upset me as now my mom says I can't bid any more on ebay! :'(

Tracy... Please don't get me going on the Patriots, I've had a bad spot for them ever since Tom Brady got on track to beat Bart Starrs records. Oh well between Brett and the Packers and Manning and the Colts another championship won't be happening soon.

hmmmm... No ESPN, but I do get FOX news. Sky Sports channel has been broadcasting the live American Football over here in recent years, I imagine they will be broadcasting them this year also.
