I will have a look. It will be worth it to see your face when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers score five touchdowns at your end of the field.
Not the Bucs!! Oh I'm excited. See if you guys can pick me out. I'll wear something very outragous. By the way I made a tiny mistake, the game is on the 25th of September, not the 11th.

awww...poor baby! (about Dr. Who) Oh, and guys...FOOTBALL SUCKS. (American style anyway). Baseball's where it's at. GO ROCKIES! (they suck badly, but...hey...they are my home team, I love them unconditionally)

Thanks Tilly. And thanks Pendragon for caring. It's a couple of days later now so I'm kind of over it.
I watched the Trial of a Timelord set. Well, I started to. I'd already seen the first story, so I watched the second and started the third.
I was almost absolutely positive that one of the characters was played by Honour Blackman, but I checked on the credits just to be sure and I was right! She plays this weird character called Proffesor Lanky. I couldn't be sure it was her, as she did do it about 22 years after Goldfinger! )
I'm determined to convince my mom to let me continue to bid on ebay! I've got my dad on my side! But I haven't searched for either videos yet.
My brother wanted me to look for the new Chealsea home shirt, with Arjen Robben on the back! And I don't care if that's spelt wrong! )
After that I searched for 2 original copies of The Daleks. I found some that start at 99p - no one's bid yet - and end in 5 days time. That'll give me some time to convince my mom!
I also found a signed Evil of the Daleks trading card. It's signed by Frazer Hines who played Jamie. I usually only bid on videos and dvds on ebay, but I'm so tempted towards it!
I really like the character of Jamie; even though I've only seen him twice in episodes - once (briefly) in The Five Doctors and again in The Two Doctors. I've also seen him in the Photonovels loads that I talked to MNL before about.
It's just my mom! X-( She hates me bidding because I always use Paypal. For those of you who don't use ebay, this is how it works:
1 You put in the numbers tht are along the bottom of your card which you intend to use.
2 You make a password for your Paypal account
3 When you've won the bidding on an item you click on the Paypal option.
4 The money will be transfered from your bank account, to the sellers.
It's simple! Most seller except Paypal, but those who don't, usually tell you.
Now my mom moans because she doesn't know what's going in and what's coming out the bank. Which I think is totally ridiculous because she gets the bill every month to show her! )
Relax darling, I'm on top of the situation -{

I'm back - because no one's been by and posted before this one.
I'm thinking of selling on ebay. I just want to ask you some questions which I'd really appreciate a few of you answering.
In what price range do you think I would be able to sell my Gameboy Colour? It's got a few scratches and at the moment the piece which goes over the back of the batteries is missing. It's fully working though and I think I still have the box and instructions it came with - in mint condition.
In what price range do you think I would be able to (if at all) sell my link cable? It's yellow with 2 Pikatues (I know that isn't spelt right! It's been a long time since I've been into Pokemon!) on each end of it. Their hands grasp the Gameboy when plugged in. Also, along the cable it has a small pokeball. It is in near mint condition with only a few minor scratches, hardly visible to the naked eye.
Finally, what about any of my old mint condition - but without packaging - Bratz dolls?
Oh I'm excited. See if you guys can pick me out. I'll wear something very outragous. By the way I made a tiny mistake, the game is on the 25th of September, not the 11th.
It might be easier to pick you out if you wear nothing at all. ) OK, so you made a tiny mistake. What's two weeks out of anyone's life? It just means that you have to wait a bit longer to see the Green Bay Packers get beaten.
Thanks I'll take that as a compliment. and I don't think I'd be Forest Gump, you probably see... my horse. )
I didn't know your horse played American Football. Does it play offence or jump defence?
Your having fun imagining this aren't you?! )
But anyway, Pen... nevermind I won't vent.
But I like Baseball, however I must go for my Brewers, for about the same reason you go for the Rockies, but when it isn't the Brewers it's the Yankees for me, however bought and paid for they might be.
Yea, seeing as I go to New Jersey every summer, and becasue they have no pro baseball team of their own, I root for the Yanks when I'm there, or if the Rockies are in a hole (like now). ^^
Well I haven't posted here since Page 188, so I thought I'd drop by. Everyone's doing alright, I trust?
Don't have an interest in baseball or American football - they are both very American sports and I don't watch Fox or any of the channels on which the games might be broadcast. Motorsport is my thing, namely Formula One. I like to watch and play tennis, also.
Yes, I am a Grand Prix fan. I have enjoyed this season so far, except for that farce of a race in America. It looks like Fernando Alonso has got the championship in his pocket, barring injury. Kimi Raikkonen will keep him honest, but unreliabilty with his McLaren has cost him very dearly.
It's very strange (yet strangely enjoyable) to see Michael Schumacher struggle in his Ferrari after all the years of dominance. I see he spun off in the qualifying session for tomorrow's race in Turkey, so he will be starting from the back of the grid. In previous seasons you would still have fancied him to win the race starting from the back, but not this year.
Well I haven't posted here since Page 188, so I thought I'd drop by.
And I was having such a lovely time here lately.
Well, since you came back there has been a certain unbearable stench about the thread, and it's been tough visiting to see my Random Chat pals.
Regarding Formula One, I completely agree that it's very satisfying watching Schumacher struggle. I've had simply enough of their dominance and his arrogance from the 2004 and 2002 seasons particularly. I've enjoyed this season; my three favourite drivers are Trulli, Fisichella and Webber. None of them have had fantastic seasons, Webber in particular, and poor Fisichella has had to play second fiddle to Alonso.
The drivers I've had fun taking the mick out of have been Villeneuve, Button and my old pal Ralf. All useless on most occasions.
1 You put in the numbers tht are along the bottom of your card which you intend to use.

Oooo... That IS easy... If only it were THAT easy... Here's a few things I hate about e-bay.
- People who don't ship internationally.
- People who won't ship internationally even after I ask them to since I'm the only one intrested in the auction.
- People who make racist slurs to support why they don't ship internationally.
- Oh, and the whole e-bay/PayPal bunch for handling us like a third-grade Balkan state and not accepting us, so I have to use two foreign friends every time I need something from e-bay! (Thanks guys. )
As you can see, I have a few issues with them for making my life hell. 8-) But at least I fooled Mr "I don't ship to your kind" Guy and now his WHOLE collection is mine! ALL MINE!!! MUHAHAHAHA! ) (well not yet, but it's on its way)
Regarding Formula 1, I'm also very excited about Turkey. There's nothing refreshing than a new race and hopefully we'll get a few surprises. Though I don't what will be the bigger surprise... If Schumi wins or if he doesn't win.
Well, since you came back there has been a certain unbearable stench about the thread, and it's been tough visiting to see my Random Chat pals.
Yes, I should stop eating so many beans. However, I do like to let rip occasionally. I don't understand what you mean by unbearable stench though. I find the smell quite refreshing. )

Turkey looks like it's going to be a great race!
I am surprised that you rate Jarno Trulli. For sure, he is a very good qualifier, but he often flatters to deceive in the races. Giancarlo Fisichella is a very good racer, he has made mistakes this year, but he has also had more unreliabilty than Fernando Alonso, so he is actually closer to him in reality than the points score indicates. Mark Webber is another very good qualifier, but he tends to make too many mistakes in the races. If he can cut out the mistakes he has the potential to go a long way in F1. He could even be World Champion one day, it's not impossible.
I think you are being a bit harsh on Jenson Button. He cocked up today, but generally in the last eighteen months he has been amongst the top five drivers. If he stays at BAR, it's only matter of time before he starts winning races. With the arrival of Barichello next year and Honda's increased investment and personnel BAR are going to be challenging strongly for the World Championship in the next few years.

That is a bit harsh, Cat. When I sell, just for you, I'm going to put up mine internatianally! It will of course cost more as my pocket money doesn't stretch too far lately!
Did anyone see my questions about ebay?
OK. It's 11 at night and our neibours came up. They were ment to be here for half an hour but...
Anyway, this is what has peed my off about it: X-(
I wanted to enjoy a quiet evening, stuffing myself with sweets and gone off Pepsi we brought in Cyprus, whilst watching the rest of what I started watching today.
The thing that I started watching today was Doctor Who and so of course me being me, I wanted to see it badly.
I had already been interupted earlier that day from watching it, just so that I could be dragged into town, looking for statianery for my brother. X-(
It's 11 and I haven't been doing anything since 8, but watching the X factor (they've got some real nutters this time!) and playing bingo.
If I was eighteen, I'd be sitting on our trampoline in the back garden and drinking a delicious cold larger - Stella Artois; my favourite. *pick of me drooling*
Thanks Felix, but I still can't use either PayPal or e-bay from the country... Stupid, stupid systems! But I'm always ready to pay good cash for Bond-related memorabilia (usually much more than the e-bay bidders) as some of the members here can tell. I hope they'll enjoy spending my money! If YOU have any, just whistle... You know how to whistle, don't you?
As for your stuff, you get what they offer. This is capitalism. If you have something in mind, you can always set a reserve which has to be met. But I can't value your stuff, so you'd just better toss it up and let it rip. Or look on e-bay for similar items you have and see how much others pay for it. But one tip: if there are let's say a dozen GameBoys on e-bay now, don't put it up yet, wait until there aren't any. Chances are that if there are more, most of the will be underpriced at the final bid. But that's what buyers want, don't they? That's how I got a dozen great books for 8 dollars. By the time it will arrive here through my American contact, it will cost me around 30 dollars... BUT IT STILL WORTHS EVERY CENT!
As for sympathy... You live a rater exciting life. It's past midnight now, we had the greatest national holiday, and I'm here remastering the Moonraker score. Pretty lame I know, but just see that you could worse.
Uhm... Not really SPECTRE, but welcome. And the picture is cool, though I don't know why you want the "Image hosted by tripod.com" as your signature. Because that's what I see.

Well, you'd have to agree that Trulli has solidly out-performed Ralf, with constantly strong qualifying and a string of podiums. Last season he completely tore Alonso apart until he left Renault, and I think he hasn't yet had the car to make a really fantastic impression.
As far as Webber and Fisi are concerned, it's bad luck all around I think. Fisichella has an unusual amount of reliability problems, in comparison with his team mate. Webber moved to a winning team only to find that they aren't such winners after all!
I like to make fun of Button, because firstly in interviews he talks absolute rubbish. All of the other drivers look like they know what they're talking about, at least! Secondly, he is naff under pressure! Three times this season he has had Michael swimming up behind him, and all three times he let him past ridiculously easily. In Canada, it resulted in him putting it in the wall! He is just terrible under pressure. I think he's a good driver, and could be great with the right car but really he isn't particularly special in my books. :P

Well, Jenson Button beat your man Jarno Trulli fair and square today in Turkey. He even overtook Michael Schumacher, though that was not such a remarkable achievement as Schumacher had one of the worst races of his career, which included a collision with Mark Webber.
The McLaren is clearly the car to beat right now. They would have had a 1-2 but for Juan Pablo Montoya's late race mis-hap. However, Fernando Alonso just has to keep driving like he did today and he will be the Champion.
wow...that was certainly detailed...The only thing I know about racing out in Colorado is that there is a 20 somthing girl racing with the guys, and the men are rather fumed about it.
Why? Do they have some pride issues or are they worried about being beaten by a woman or what!? lol
I've never been interested in Motor sports (it's why I haven't been posting). But don't let that stop you talking about it, I'm just giving my two cents!

I'm with you Jedi. The only sports I really ever get bothered about are football - strictly English - and sometimes England's rugby.
I did enjoy baseball though when I was over in Florida last year. I watched it with my parents and managed to grasp a little of it. The World Series was on - whatever that is...
English football is rather simple though.
Then there's the rugby. My dad said I couldn't come to a game with him because it was a lot rougher than going to a football game. He also said that the language is worse (from the fans that is ) ) and you don't see the players screaming like a girl, when they're injured. )
So anyway, could someone explain American football and baseball for me?
Thanks.
'Fraid I'm not your man for that! I only really follow tennis, and by follow, I mean I watch Wimbledon every year! I do enjoy watching it though so maybe I should get more interested, hmm...
