Well it looks like I'll have to start something new... But that's what Random Chat is for, isn't it?
Let's talk music. If you were to ask me about what's in my music collection, I would have to say that you'd find all kinds in my CD box. I'm particularly fond of things like '60s and '70s music (The Beatles), contemporary (Elton John), J-Pop (Japanese music) and other music from around the globe, film and TV soundtracks, some classical, the list goes on.
So the question is, if one were to go looking in your music collection (whether that be your CD box, LP box, hard drive or whatever you use ), what sort of thing would one find in there?
Broadway, Michael Crawford, some Rock (Chicago), more Broadway, Heavy Metal (Iron Maiden, Rammstein, and a weird mix Maria made), More Michael Crawford, Movie Soundtracks (don't make me give the full list)..yea!!!

I like '60s and '70s stuff too. Probably 'cause most of my parents music is from then and I've ended up hearing it so many times. I don't mind some '80s stuff either. I like the Beatles, yeah Elton John's OK.
I've got Busted (yeah - I got them!), Avril Lavigne, Robbie Williams. And I wanna get Greenday!
I just picked up the soundtrack to Grand Theft Auto Vice City. It's packed with high quality 80s music. Because I this game, I now have a guilty pleasure in the form of chessy 80s pop music. There is also some decent metal and a few good soul tracks. And believe it or not, there is some good rap on the one of the discs as well, old school rap that actually talked about things other than graphic descriptions of sexual encounters, clubing, killing people, or all three of these in one song. The beats weren't all samples either. There is even some cool Latino jazz on one of discs.
Also, I would like to take this time to say how much I hate the Black Eyed Peas. They have another new single coming out. They just keep churning out music and it almost makes me want to bash my computer in with a baseball bat (almost). Most pop music is horrible music, but it makes up for that by being catchy. Of course most of their music isn't that good, it's chessy and not even catchy. Take a break Black Eyed Peas. You have plenty of money anyways!
Mostly soundtracks to films such as the Bonds, Star Wars, heaps of others. Also a lot of CDs of musical films such as The Music Man, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Then my own written CDs with different songs and bits and bobs on them, along with a random Avril Lavigne album, and a couple of Daft Punk albums too. A lot of the sort of techno-dance music that Daft Punk seems to pump out - I love all that.
Yes, welcome back Domino. I've seen quite a few insightful posts from you before. {[]
[Sigh] ...Don't mind me, I'm just taking a break from all the action around here! I've never seen this place so lively! Thinking about this, it's a crucial moment for ajb: it is now experiencing its first Bond actor change. It's also the same big moment for the Internet's Bond fans, as well: the Internet wasn't mainstream at all when Dalton left, and it was just becoming mainstream when Brosnan entered the arena. Now that it is truly mainstream, this should be very interesting to see what happens with Bond's fanbase...
Saying something outside all the yelling in the CR forum, I'm glad I'm here to see this!
And for a lot of the internet Bond fans it is their first change of Bond actor (I know I'm only talking maybe 1/4 but it's still a fair number of us)! I'm also greatly looking forward to CR, it's going to be a grand experience!
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.
Arg...It's Craig...Im not pleased...but, anywho...I'll quote some of the show at school to you..."Better hope your pennies, add up to the fee...we can't have you peeing, for free!"

hehe it's a really good show...if anyone is interested, and is able to come out to Boulder in about a week, it opens next saturday...it's gonna be AWESOME! Yours truly is the house manager...^^
No way, I'm in a show which goes up next Friday! It's called Honk and it's the story of the ugly duckling! It's really good actually! The draw back is a week friday is my birthday!
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.

That's the spirit, Jedi. Once the controversy about Daniel Craig calms down and the trailer for Casino Royale is released, I think a lot more fans will be really looking forward to it.
For me, Craig would be more suitable as a Bond villain. On the positive side, I think that he will bring more grit and toughness to Bond. He looks like the sort of man that can look after himself in a fight, much like Sean Connery and George Lazenby. I won't mention the negatives, there's been too much of that elsewhere.
Something which made me laugh (because I don't like DAD): I saw the movie trailer for TripleX 2, it looks awful (of course). But one of the things the cheesy, deep, throaty voice over said was "From the director of DAD". How can you respect a Bond film which was directed by someone who went on to direct TripleX 2?!
And a random trivium for you, did you know World War 2 actually finished in the beginning of 1990? That's right, you might think I'm crazy but it's true! This is because the war was between the allies and, among others, Germany. At the end of the war Germany didn't exist, it had split in two. Therefor the war could not have ended until Germany existed once more, and this didn't happen until 1990! How funny is that?
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and everyone dies.
Well technically that's not correct, because the country, whether it be Germany or East Germany and West Germany, surrendered. There was no more fighting, which means the war ended.

Ah! Never let people deal with historical trivia! The war ended in 1945, Germany surrendered and was only split up into East and West in 1949.
Hey don't jump down my throat I'm just quoting somehting I heard on QI and thought was (appropriately) quite interesting! You're all right of course but it's a funny way to think of it isn't it!?

Sorry, it's nothing personal. I'm just a history student and have to put up with similar "trivia" on a daily basis. But the logic for this is false on more point, unless they want to add that the Assiryan Empire is still battling with the Kingdom of Judea or that the crusades are still on...

I think I saw a tumbleweed blow through the trivia challenge forum too. That's where I usually am, but I have been strictly consumed in the Casino Royale Forum lately. This is the most time I have ever spent there in my whole history as a member of AJB.
