I don't know what model they were but I have a promotional leaflet from the film by Calvin Klein that I could dig out and see.
Thanks to EON Productions for a briefing on those specially modified Q-branch glasses:
The wardrobe supervisor for The World Is Not Enough says that those glasses were bought off-the-shelf at a High Street optician's shop. The normal lenses just didn't look fit for Bond, so they replaced them with the famous light blue lenses. The company that made the glasses is called Blue and the model number is: MOD No.9048 ANT BLUE 50X19. Unfortunately, EON says the company no longer makes that model.
Most speculated the glasses were by Calvin Klein, which had a major product placement deal with the Bond production. They had hoped moviegoers would focus on the shades Bond wore when he was skiing in the Caucasus Mountains.
The second most frequently asked question was which glasses Bond wears in the banker's office. Calvin Klein's PR department said, besides the ones in the ski sequence, CK optometry line model 718F was also used. We can only assume these are the ones in the banker's office.
(From Mr. KISS KISS BAND BANG article "WORLD EXCLUSIVE: BOND'S BLUE GLASSES UNCOVERED!" updated June 16, 2000)
There was a similar pair of blue lensed sunglasses being offered at ASSEENONSCREEN.COM during the TWINE hayday (I purchased two pairs for my 007 collection). Might want to check their site the see if they are still available!
That was very informative, thank you. By any chance, do you know the model of the glasses that Bond takes off of Mr. Van Bierk in the pre-credit sequence of Die Another Day. On the DVD on one of the special tracks, Brosnan says that he had owned those glasses for a number of years, but he does not say what brand they are. I'm not referring to the Persol glasses he wears later. Thanks in advance.

Still new here. Sorry to dig up an old thread. Everyone probably already knows that ASSEENONSCREEN.COM doesn't have them anymore. I actually bought a couple pairs of these from someone I found on jamesbondlifestyle. They are exactly like the ones in the movie.
