The Radio Times has listed the episode titles and brief synopsis's for the new series. Although one has been witheld as the title reveals too much.
4.01 Partners in Crime
4.02 The Fires of Pompei
4.03 Planet of the Ood
4.04 The Sontaran Stratagem/4.05 The Poison Sky
This double-bill sees the return of Martha Jones
4.06 The Doctor's Daughter
apparently this will deal with the Doctor's family. Something barely touched upon since his grand-daughter left the TARDIS
4.07 The Unicorn and the Wasp
4.08 Silence in the Library/4.09 River's Run Steven Moffat's episodes.
4.10 Midnight
4.11 Turn Left
Donna needs help from a woman thought lost forever. That'll be Rose then
4.12 Title witheld. Will be announced nearer the time. All we know is that it is a 2-parter with 4.13 Journey's End.
the synopsis claims that an ancient enemy is resurrected, asks who are the Children of Time? And also hints at the possibility of somebody not making it.

Can only respond to a spoiler with a spoiler, I guess!
Well, with Freema and Tennant confirmed for the specials next year...
Old time enemy is (obviously) being hinted as Davros. It's the speculation that the BBC reported on who's playing the role that's more fascinating - Ben Kingsley or David Bowie!!!

Nah; it's almost certainly an actor called Julian Bleach; if you've been watching Torchwood he popped up as an evil ringmaster type of guy a few weeks back in the one where people were walking out of old cinema screens. He's got a great voice; should be very scary.
Apparently a trailer at the press launch showed a glimpse of something with a Dalek base and a not-quite-Daleky top half (I presume in shadow); that'll be him, then!
I like the sound of that Em. I would be very happy with the above actor. I'm going to try and find a link to the series 4 preview. Ive only seen the brief one at the end of the Xmas special.
The preview I mention there hasn't been released, I think. There's a few lovely trailers and the cinema trailer is running on red button BBCi, but I don't think you'll see the shot I mentioned anywhere yet.
Ooh; a naughty glimpse at the new range of action figures- stunning stuff:

Ah well I am afriad I shall not be able to resist myself from buying a 4th and 5th Doctor one. I already have about 20 figures and no idea why but I seem to get a buzz of buying them. My 10th-Doctor-in-spacesuit-with-smashed-helmet-glass has become a good luck charm for me to take to exams. ) Unfortunately the lead connects to his suit keeps failing so he even without the smashed helmet he'd have been killed many times by now lol. )
Have to say, from the first episode of the new series (and thankfully Catherine Tate's character seems a lot more tolerable and with a good potential for seriousness than I initially thought), my jaw hit the floor when
Rose Tyler
appeared at the end of the episode as a bystander.
I thought that was a fairly poor episode, although the ending with
Rose
was brilliant. Tate wasn't half bad, except for the comedy face pulling at certain moments.

The first episode always seems to be at a disadvantage, especially when introducing a new companion for the Doctor.
On the whole it was a decent start (my son loves the Adipose) and I look forward to another great series
Oo! Oo! Oo! Thanks Emtiem, those actions figures look positively fantastic! I might give the villains a miss, but I look forward to purchasing the 4th, 5th & 6th Doctors to add to my collection. Although, why doesn't the 5th Doctor has his hat? Oh well, they're still a must have! And I'm eagerly anticipating the release of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th & 8th Doctors as action figures too!

I have to say though I do think it was a rather weak episode (as Sir M says, introducing a new character doesn't make lots of time for a strong plot) I did like Sarah Lancashire's character of cool, smart b!tch. The scene in particular where the Doctor and Donna spot each other for the first time and communicate silently through the windows, only to notice they've been rumbled - "Sorry, are we interrupting you?" - reminded me very much of high school! ) (Though without the scary "Get them!", machine guns and creatures made of fat, I hasten to add)
I should make clear that I am not a Doctor Who fan at all, however I watched Saturday night's episode as I like Catherine Tate. And I have to say I actually thoroughly enjoyed it. Before I have found it far too childish with silly effects, although despite this the story and some of the acting was much better than I remember it a couple of years ago. I too loved the scene where Tate's character and the Doctor recognise each other; she has the comedic talents to pull off the more lighthearted elements I feel.
Sarah Lancashire (whom I very vaguely remember having watched about two episodes of the dreaded Coronation Street when I was younger) was very good as an ice-queen. It is funny you should mention high school Moonie, we had a teacher just like her (albeit significantly less attractive).
Really enjoyed last night's episode!! Warming to Donna a lot more too, her plea of "Just save someone!" definitely vanquished any fear that her character was just for laughs.
Heads up, fellow Americans--the new (fourth) season of Doctor Who begins its run on the Sci-Fi Channel this Friday, April 18! I missed the first five or six episodes of the third season because I didn't know it would air here so soon, but this time I'm ready!

I'm in complete agreement, Moonie - a fabulous episode !
The story was quite clever but I really enjoyed the torment the Doctor was put through - this is the episode (for me, anyway) where Tennent really became the Doctor and threw off the shadow of Eccleston.
Great support from the rest of the cast - especially Tate and Davis - and the special effects were SPECIAL -{

BTW you really hated the Brosnan years didn't you!

Is that ep 4.12 NP? That doesn't reveal anything. Except that The Doctor might be stuck in the countryside with a middle-aged punk band.
Is that a hint? Is Brosnan going to be appearing in DW this year?
I meant that the River's Run name has been changed to Forest... still don't know the unknown title yet.

(Nah not really; it's the new voice changing helmet toy which I think is hilarious!)

They've announced them now; here's a couple of pics:
Bit nice, eh?
Plus they all come with bits which you can assemble into the Giant Robot!
