James Bond Toys

I remember when I was a kid my older brother had the James Bond attache complete with knife, hidden gold pieces, etc., inspired by From Russia With Love. It's long gone. But I do have a Goldfinger and Oddjob doll which are not that old--I think they were made around 10-15 years ago. Seems like we also had a Man From Uncle game of some sort.
Does anyone remember/have some of these spy gadgets inspired by the 60's films?

The one item I would love to find and own again - even though it probably would cost a packet now - was the Spy Kit by Thomas Salter, circa 1975.

It came as a black suitcase made of cardboard with an ingenious false bottom that you made by cutting out two picture sections from the box and sticking them together, back to back, to divide the case.

One one side there was everything for the traveller - foreign bank notes and a map (I still have these!) a passport and one or two other bits.

In the bottom 'secret' part was a long-barelled cap firing automatic, ID card and a magnifying glass with its handle disguised as a pen top (I still have these, too) and lots of other goodies like a camera, binoculars, fingerprint powder and coding devices.

Cheap and cheerful and it gave me hours and hours of fun.

Wow,the Spy kit!I too had one of those.Such a shame it was so flimsy.I especially liked the Morse code transmitter that you assembled yourself."Warlord" comic gave these away as top prize for letter of the week.

I remember my cousin gave my brother and I his Gilbert James Bond Road Race set! This was before I even knew who James Bond was! I guess this was my very first introduction to the world of 007! Even though this toy had problems reported, mine always worked well! God, I wish I still had it! All I have left of this set is the red Aston Martin body shell! What a shame. Some day I will purchase another set so my two boys and I can relive those days!! Although I know I'll pay a lot for it, I'm positive it will be worth it!

The case i think your brother had was the one made by "mutiple toys", nice bit, tough to get boxed. The dolls are probebly "Gilbert", a company cslled "cecil coleman" also did a bond doll very similar to the Gilbert one, rare bit though i need a box for mine.

My brother used to have a 007 snorkel that was also a squirt gun. It was so cool. All black with the 007 logo on the side. Needless to say I swiped it every chance I had. I really wish I still had that, what great memories it brings back.
