What dealers do you buy from?
Sorry Sheriff for the delay in replying but I have been ill for 5 days. I usually buy from a company called Autographs Ink. ( http://www.autographs-ink.com ) Their website isn't that good but they are are good company. They are always at places like Autographica and the NEC Memrobilia show. They are really friendly people, are well respected in the "Autograph community", and always have lots of Bond autographs. I suspect you could buy the autographs slightly cheaper elsewhere, perhaps, but you know you have got the real deal with them.
Got Burt Kwouk and Toby Stephens today, they signed my postcards and Burt signed my letter and sent that back to me too which was a bit random but hey.
Got my Britt Ekland letter sent back to me with a note saying she's not signing anymore.
Judi Dench you can write to at the BBC (Belfast "Artist Mail" address), as well as:
Geoffrey Palmer
Burt Kwouk
Julie T Wallace
Basically anyone who's EVER done a BBC show you can write to there and they forward them on - and you can send loads in one envelope. It's by far the cheapest way to send off for autographs, and the BBC always have their latest reliable addresses.
Ok well in order to do so ... could somebody tell me how many IRC's for the SASE i will need... The SASE will be returning the Autographs from UK to Canada and the package is under 30g
Thanks Dalton,
The problem that I am having is the my post office dosn't sell American Stamps or IRC's!!!
They only have outgoing postage. The reason is that they say the big agencies don't bother to redeem the IRC's for stamps so it is not worth them having it!
They don't seem to have stamps. I have found 5 IRC's in my entire city so that is a start and my friend is bringing me some UK Postage when he comes home so that should be alright...Thanks for the help.
Do you know offhand how much it costs to send a small letter under 30g to Canada? Or what kind of stamps to use?
