Hi Royale King - must have been quite something to have the Brosnan on the doorstep. Just a quick thing to check though - if you sent off to the fanclub, it is going to be a pre-print or an autopen. It won't be an original autograph. Hope that doesn't ruin your day.
For all you Bond autograph collectors, I have completed a free guide on how to avoid the fraudulent fake and forgery sellers on eBay. The guide gives you tips on what to look out for and the research that you need to do in order to avoid being scammed.
Good to see so many getting positive responses from those connected with Bond.
My particular favourites obtained over the years are:
Roger Moore
Pierce Brosnan
Timothy Dalton
Carole Bouquet (waited three years but well worth every minute! Personal dedication too)
Valerie Leon
Caroline Munro
Fiona Fullerton, Carole Ashby and Roger Moore (all on the cover of an A5 synopsis fold-out for A View To A Kill)
Guy Hamilton
Christopher Lee
Burt Kwouk
Samantha Bond
Jonathan Pryce (walking through Soho, round the corner from where I work, carrying his shopping!)
Guy Hamilton
Michael G Wilson
Richard Kiel
Julian Glover
Shirley Eaton

I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post this in. I wondered where you can post which Bond actors/actresses you would like to get an autograph from.
I've got autographs from the following so far (back in late 2002 at Memorabilia at the NEC) :
Caroline Munro (lovely lady. Very talkative)
Lois Chiles (wish I could have spoken to her longer)
Maud Adams
Maryam D'Abo
Richard Kiel
George Lazenby.
Fair enough, Wavecrest.
I was scanning through so many different threads last night, and saw this one so decided to pop in my two penneth!
(under the 'favourite' part of the thread, that is!)
My goodness. There is just SO much to look at on this site. And after a hard, hot day's work I don't get too much time to look at half I want to on ajb007!
Could someone invent the 28 hour day, please?

Okay. I have now completed my extensive 'Sean Connery signature study'. It features scans of many examples of his authentic signature and many examples of the fakes doing the rounds. It really is a handy reference.
Anybody who wants a FREE copy need only email me at this address:-
thesignedimage@tiscali.co.uk
I'll send you the study in an email as quick as I can. Rest assured I will not share your email address with anybody else.
If you are requesting a copy of the guide and are with AOL or are using a spam blocker/filter please make the appropriate settings to allow the guide to reach your Inbox.
Looking forward to hearing from you all,

Just recieved my photo back signed and personalized from Joanna Lumley, one of Blofeld's "Angels of Death" in OHMSS!
"My acting range? Left eyebrow raised, right eyebrow raised..."
Tee Hee, what address did you use for Mr Pryce please, been meaning to write to him for a couple of years now.
I wrote to him at the Imperial Theater in New York. He is working on "Dirty Rotten Scoudrels."
Oh right, I thought you might have had an address for his agent or something. The only place I've seen people write to him has been at theatres! I'm in Ireland here, so I'm guessing we would need Interational Reply coupons I think, which living in a backward village like mine, our post office doesn't have! Did you send anything to him to sign?

Yes steelydan, I sent a letter, stamped self-addressed envelope, and a color 8X10 of him as Elliot Carver. I suppose you could try to write to him without return postage and see if he is generous enough to pay from his own pocket. However, I always provide the return postage because they are doing me a favor in signing my photos.
"My acting range? Left eyebrow raised, right eyebrow raised..."
and the best - a total surprise from a friend, was his security pass from Casino Royale. He has been working on the set at Pinewood, and sent me his pass...chuffed to bits!
I have just created another guide for your reading pleasure. This one is all about the 'Golden Principles' of Bond autograph collecting and is probably the best piece of work I have accomplished to date. It should be an extremely useful tool for you to use so please print it off so that you can read it thoroughly and digest every scrap of information. It can be found by clicking the link below.
Thank you to everyone for the overwhelming response to the 'Sean Connery signature reference study', I am glad you enjoyed it. For those who haven't yet read the Sean Connery study, but would like to, just email me at thesignedimage@tiscali.co.uk and ask for it. It is completely free of charge.
Within the next 7 days I will complete the next reference study which will be based on Roger Moore's signature. I will let you all know when it is completed.

One part of this article puzzles me: Most individuals who start collecting James Bond autographs have a tendency to want as many un-dedicated autographs as possible on 8" x 10" (or larger) photographs of the celebrities pictured in character only.
I prefer dedicated autographs myself, as I would have thought any fan would - the autograph is "addressed" to them. I would have thought that the only people wanting undedicated pictures are those who buy with the intention of re-selling the items - are they true fans?
