Hey guys, I'm new to autograph collecting but want to start. Who are some people who respond well to TTM requests? I heard lots of stories about Rosamund Pike, but heard a rumor she stopped signing through the mail. Can anyone confirm or deny? Thanks much.
My favorite is my autographed pic of Richard Kiel. He's a good, Christian man. He wrote a Bible verse on it.
Yes, that's true. I know both Richard and Diane (his wife). They took me to a lovely Japanese Dinner at a restaurant close by. The waiter prepared the food for us right before us. (A truly amazing experience by itself, if you have never done that before).
I have a pamphlet that says: "My name is Boer, James Boer," and then it talks about me. When we walked into the restaurant, the waiter said to Richard: "Good Evening Mr. Bond." He was joking. So, I joked back. I said: "Oh no, he's not Bond. He's Jaws. I'm Mr. Bond!" Anyways. they are really nice people.
This is a picture of us at the restaurant.
If you're interested in reading the pamphlet, I was talking about, you can find an online version in one of my websites. (that needs to be terribly overhauled!!! :-) It's www.growcactus.com

The lovely Caterina Murino signed and personalized my photo!
"My acting range? Left eyebrow raised, right eyebrow raised..."
I have loved the Bond films since I was a child, but have never really collected autographs and I would really like to do so. I bought signed 8x10s off ebay of the Bond actors but they are probably fake. I'm not really sure who to write to or where to write. Can someone please give suggestions? I live in the USA and I know many of the stars live in England so I have no idea how to write to there. please help!

Here are some tips irsauers:
1. Write the celebrity a letter. Writing a letter opposed to typing it makes the letter more personal. Keep the letter short as many celebrities have a lot of fan mail and do not have time to read a book. Be sure to praise their work as well as kindly ask for them to sign/send you an autographed photo.
2. Send your own photo. Not all celebrities have photos to send out. Sending your own photo improves your chances of receiving something back and on a photo that you are happy with. For instance, when I write to actors from the James Bond series I like to send large 8x10 Bond shots for them to sign.
3. Ask them to address the signature to you. When you do this it lets actors know that you are truly a fan and intend to keep the photo rather than sell it and make a profit off their charity.
4. Pay for the return postage. Not all actors are willing to pay for the postage to send you something or return your photo. Since you are from the States like I, send them an envelope filled out with your return address and place the correct amount of stamps in the corner. If you are sending outside the US, send them International Reply Coupons (IRCs) which can be bought at many post offices. Actors can exchange these cupons for the money to pay the return postage.
5. Enclose a sturdy piece of cardboard in your envelope. This will help to preserve the condition of your photo upon its leaving and return to you. Write "Do Not Bend" on the front of the envelope to let the post office know that the contents of your envelope are fragile. Millions of letters go through the postal system and it is a rough journey. Cardboard will help to ensure that your photo makes it to its destination in the condition in which you sent it.
There are several websites and books that provide addresses where you can contact celebrities. Surf the web. Write to your favorites. Browse this thread to discover which celebrities are good signers through the mail.
Hope this helps and good luck to you. {[]

Received the following signed 10x8 photos today, which i won all in auction:
Sue Vanner (very rare)TSWLM
Art Malik (signed with best wishes which is rare for him) TLD
Andreas Wisnewski TLD
John Ryhs Davies TLD
Daryl Kwan DAD
David Decio DAD
All are on bond shots.
I just got Christopher Lee's autograph personally! I managed to get a ticket for the event I mentioned in the forum 1st Nov that no-one showed any interest in. I was 4th in the queue of around 300 and managed to get a perfect readable signature on a Scaramanga photograph. He does seem old now, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the last one he would choose to do where he will sign anything apart from Dracula and Space 1999. He only seems to sign his cd and his books recently.
