I just knew Cleese would be an old fart about signing IP, I just had this feeling he would be like that before his tour started.
As Paul says, might be best to catch him before his show or at his hotel (which can be hard to decipher which one he is staying at if you don't already know!)
I'll be trying him next month & have now been warned what he's like (which confirmed my suspicions) so gotta just get in there!
I got him TTM no problem when he was filming Wallace and Gromit 6 years ago, he even signed Bond stuff!
Just got in from a long day. Managed to meet and get Diana Rigg's autograph. Also met Vic Armstrong at his book signing in London too. Book and addtional things signed.
On a related matter, as a newcomer to the site, I would appreciate the experts out there sharing any brief thoughts on the likelihood of me getting autographs TTM from:
Barbara Bach
Carey Lowell
Carole Bouquet
Famke Janssen
Jill St John
Big holes in the collection (and I don't want just buy them!)
I am a realist (have given up on Mr Connery), but if I get a few "forget it's" I may as well as save some P&P costs!
Thanks

Barbara Bach is 'do-able' but she doesn't seem to sign as much these days TTM as much as she used to, probably gradually phasing out signing like her hubby.
Carey Lowell is pretty much a no no.
Carole Bouquet I have had sign photos TTM a while ago but she seems a non-signer now.
We would all enjoy seeing your impressive collection on a website, 007_Autographcollector. Sorry I can't offer any tech support on how to get started--it's what prevents me from posting mine.
Grindelwald, I wrote to Tetsuro Tamba in July 2000 when he was advisor to a Japanese Cultural Ministry. Below is one (of the 2) stills he returned signed to me. On both stills he signed only his last name, in silver ink, lower case cursive.
Well done with Toshiro - I heard he doesn't do TTM. You obviously got in touch with the right person that is close to him. I was lucky to spend the day with him last year, nice guy.
I too met Toshiro back in 2007 & he signed a couple of photos for me no problem. His English isn't too good, but it was good enough for him to know that I wanted him to sign some stuff!
Does anyone have any idea the best place to sell autographs, I have a Milton Rein 'The mighty Chang' signed autograph and how much could it be worth?
You would probably be best selling it on Ebay.
Don't you mean Milton Reid? I have 3 autographs of him, he's very hard to get!
There are a few considerations to be taken into account before we can value your autograph:

Condition of signed piece
[/*]

Type of item - i.e. photo/card[/*]

Is there a dedication?[/*]

Is his full name signed?[/*]
Do you have a scan of it?
Basing your item in general, I'd say he can sell for anything between £150 - £300.

You looking to sell?
I would make an offer, only I don't know if you would deem it acceptable......
I dont think he'd consider a conker and a curly wurly acceptable Jamie )
) ) Good one Andy - love it!!
Would he settle for a Fish & Chip supper instead? )
Maybe he won't...but if you toss in a packate of Spangles...that may just tip the balance )
