Well, our family is Greek so hopefully we'll visit there soon.
I know everyone can guess which film location I've been too. That's right, AVTAK's and this is before my love for AVTAK manifested. We went to Fisherman's Wharf, City Hall, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
I've also been to Vegas, where DAF was filmed but I never liked DAF so it didn't impact me but whenever someone mentions San Francisco I start singing/humming "A View to a Kill"

Like listening to the beatles without earmuffs...I have also been to Las Vegas. And this summer, I hight go to Piz Gloria.
I've also been to Las Vegas, visted the old strip along with Circus, Circus. I have also been to London but not sure if I saw any Bond locations while there.

Where you walking around with your eyes closed? {:) You didn't see <takes large breath> Buckingham Palace, Fortnum & Mason, George Lazenby Big Ben Publicity Shot, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Harrods, MI6, MI5, Millenium Dome, Sotherby's, The Ritz, The Savoy or Turnbull & Asser? (To name a few)?

I was not there when the Millenium Dome was built, I didn't go to Sotherby's, didn't stay in The Ritz, The Savoy or Turnbull & Asser. I didn't go to Fortnum & Mason, but I did go to Harrod's, does that count? As for the other "locations" the George Lazenby publicity shot was just that, publicity, not a filming location. Perhaps you can enlighten me as to which films Buckingham Palace appeared in, and the rest of the sites listed. I'm not up on my Brosnan trivia so forgive me if I made any error on my part.
Granted, not all the places I listed are actual filming "locations" but they are points of interest all connected with Bond. You don't need to stay in the posh hotels, just walk past them and appreciate their Bond connections. The same goes with places like Turnbull & Asser. You don't have to go in, an experience in its self is had just by walking down Jermyn Street.
You didn't mention MI6 and MI5 so you probably saw those. Buckingham Palace was featured in Die Another Day when Gustav Graves parachutes in front of it.
I stayed in Udaipur, India in a hotel across the wayfrom the Lake Palace Hotel. Every night the hotel staff would play a battered vhs of Octopussy. After three weeks of this, three times a day, the guests took to open revolt and put Pulp Fiction on instead.
I've been fortunate enough to visit a few filming places;
-London - Thames locations,
-Eden Project,
-Paris,
-Casino at Monte Carlo and also the road where the race between Bond and Onattop takes place,
-Whitaker's Moroccan house, where he keeps his minatures and fights with bond at the end of the film

I go travelling each year since 1992 so have visited a few..
USA
Bourbon Street - New Orleans
Fishermans Wharf - San Francisco
Harlem - New York
Fremont Street (the old one) Las Vegas
Asia
The floating markets of Wat Sai - Bangkok
Middle East
Yerebetan Saray, Bosphorus ferry, Grand Bazaar - Istanbul
Europe
Chantilly - Paris
Pinewood Studios - London
Beckton Gasworks - London
Ringstrasse - Vienna
Checkpoint Charlie - Berlin
St Marks - Venice
But there are two which really stand out for me
(1) The Sugarloaf - Rio de Janeiro
They've tarted up the cablecars but the view across the mountains of Rio is the same. The wheelhouse is still there and there is plenty of jungle and the same telescope to look through. Santos Dumont airport is nearby and you can watch the planes land and take off..
(2) The Meteora - Greece
I saw this this year. I took a tour up to northern Greece and saw two monasteries. Ayia Triada whihc is the one they filmed FYEO is open and you can see the 'room with the electronic winch' from below. Its on a terrifying volcanic plug with nerveshredding views. Very atmospheric.
Though it's not a filming location, the bf and I recently went to Paris for a long weekend, and I went to 136 Boulevard Haussman - the headquarters of FIRCO, SPECTRE's cover organisation in the novel of TB. I have a photograph of a door which, while meaning nothing to anyone else, means an awful lot to me!
There are three roads that run up the same mountain overlooking Monte Carlo, these are Le Grande Corniche, Le Moyenne Corniche and Le Corniche Inferieure. If I remember rightly Goldeneye was filmed on Le Grande Corniche, it winds up the hills overlooking Monte Carlo. The views are absolutley stunning.
1- On Her Majesty's Secret Service 2- Casino Royale 3- Licence To Kill 4- Goldeneye 5- From Russia With Love
Recently I've been to Miami International Airport (Dunsfold Aerodrome while they filming Casino Royale!) and have driven the roads of Montenego (Millbrook Proving ground- where Bond crashes his Aston Martin!)
I live more or less near the place where the pre-credits sequence for DAD was filmed with the tanks. It was filmed on Rushmoor near Aldershot, Hampshire, which is MOD land. In about May/June 2002 we drove past it, and there were loads of those wooden wig-wam thingies.
Saw Goldeneye and tried to visit locations although finding the specific locations was difficult. Went to a couple of beaches and saw several locations that "might" have been used.
From Russia With Love
Went to Hagi Sophia and took a cruise on the Bosphorous to see some of the same scenery Bond saw in the scene on the ferry. Also been to Venice.
Goldfinger
Went to Miami Beach and visited the Fountainbleu Hotel. A worker there showed me where Goldfinger's hotel room was and went to the pool area where Goldfinger played cards. Also have been to Kentucky(although the movie wasn't filmed there) and I've actually driven the same route Bond drove from Geneva towards Goldfinger's factory around Lake Geneva(although the scenery was shot in a different part of Switzerland). I know his route due to the radar he had in his car.
Thunderball
Been to Paris as well as Nassau, Bahamas. Visited the same beach Bond spent time on(Paradise Island)
You Only Live Twice
Have been to Tokyo and visited Hijemi Castle.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Have been to Portugal to see a Portugese bullfight. Have been to the shop where Bond buys Tracy's ring in Lisbon. Have been to Estoril where the casino scene and beach scene was shot. Have been to Piz Gloria. Rode the gondola up to the top and ate at the revolving table. They even show scenes of OHMSS down in the basement. The stairs are exactly the same. Same rings are there which the villian was pushed through and where he got his head stuck on one. Also went to the train station in Lauterbrunnen where Irma Bundt greets Bond and they ride the sleigh up the road. Also saw the area where Bond was in the phone booth when he got shot at.
Diamonds are Forever
Been to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Been to Amsterdam and rode one of the tourist boats that was shown in the film
Live and Let Die
Saw the alligator farm in Jamaica that was used in the film. Have been to Harlem, New York and New Orleans(including Bourbon Street and the French Quarter that was shown at the beginning of the film). Also took a boat ride in the swamp that was used for the boat chase scenes.
The Man With the Golden Gun
Went to Hong Kong. Went to the street when Bond sees Nick Nack for the first time(it's still an electronics store). Went to the Bottom's Up club(VERY small). Went to Bangkok and the floating market where they had the boat chase scene. Went to James Bond Island(what it's named now for the tourists) that was Scaramanga's island hide-out in the film.
The Spy Who Loved Me
I went to Cairo and saw the Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids. As someone said before, the show hasn't changed a bit and I knew what the recording was going to say due to watching TSWLM so many times! It was word-for-word the same as it was in the movie.
Moonraker
Have been Venice. Have been to Rio de Janeiro. Rode the gondola up to Sugar Loaf Mountain where Bond meets Dr. Goodhead. and where he fights Jaws in the gondola coming down from Sugar Loaf. Also went to Iguazu Falls where Jaws goes over in the boat.
For Your Eyes Only
Have been to Corfu, Greece where a lot of the scenes were shot. Have also been to Meteora, Greece where the mountaintop monastaries were. Went to the actual monastery used as the villain's fortress. A monk there even called it "James Bond Monastery".
Octopussy
Have been to Udaipur, India. Had dinner and drinks at Octopussy's floating palace(which is actually a very nice hotel and restaurant). Went up to Kamal Kahn's hilltop fortress. It's closed to the public but I bribed a guard to let me in and look around. Went to the Taj Mahal and the nearby palace that are used in establishing shots. Went to Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin and also the kaiser-wilhelm church in Berlin that is shown in another establishing shot.
A View to a Kill
Have been to Paris and up in the Eiffel Tower. Have also been to San Francisco and walked across the Golden Gate Bridge. Rode a cable car like Bond and got out at Fisherman's Wharf like he did.
The Living Daylights
Have been to Tangiers, Morocco. Passed by Gibralter in a boat(but didn't go there). Went to Prague(which doubled for Bratislava). Went to Vienna and the yellow palace shown(can't remember the name right now). Also went to the Prater Amusement Park and rode some of the same rides Bond did including the giant ferris wheel.
License to Kill
Have been to Mexico City
Goldeneye
Have been to Monte Carlo, Monaco.
Tomorrow Never Dies
Have been to the area of Thailand that doubled for Vietnam. Have also been to Vietnam(although it was only set, not filmed, there).
The World is Not Enough
London and, again, Istanbul.
Die Another Day
Hong Kong
Casino Royale
Lake Como, Italy and the Bahamas
I think that's it but I might be leaving some things out. Just a rough list. Feel free to ask if you'd like any tips on where things are and how to get to them. Cheers.
What was that like there? Do you have any pictures?
It was very cool although empty and run-down. It's now a radio operations center run by the government. The views of Udaipur below are beautiful as it's perched high on a hilltop.
Do you have pictures of any of the locations you visited? Once again a very good post there![/quote]
Actually, I have tons although they aren't on .jpg format. Just the old-fashioned photos. I need to transfer them. I might have some transferred. I'll look and, if I find some that I've transferred, I'll post them.

That is called Schönbrunn Castle.

There is also a "Jane Seymour Drive" near my house - I have no idea what the story is with that. I like to think it has to do with Bond filming here.
