I have managed to go to Akime (YOLT) in Japan on the second attempt. The first one failed as there are only 2 trains from Ibusuki to the direction: one at 7:00 in the morning and one at 16:30, but there is nothing to stay over the night there. Besides that, I have been to Tokyo and Kagoshima for the remaining YOLT spots Cortina, Venice, Hong Kong, Key West and some more. Lauterbrunnen and Piz Gloria have been exciting places for me, too.

I am living nearby Hamburg and have been an extra in TND.

When you see Pierce Brosnan entering the Atlantic Hotel, you see 2 old Mercedes S class driving by. I have been in the black one on the rear seat (You can't see my face). The later scenes, where the passengers of these cars attack 007 have been made somewhere else with other actors.

But for 2 days, I have been pretty close to the first unit and have been able to see all the shots, which have been done around the hotel, and I have been paid with around US$ 100,-- for every day.

This might sound a bit daft but i have been to Dover which was featured in DAF and we have been through the passport control where peter franks was arrested and Gibralter on the tip of Spain

Hardly anywhere, I dont ski or do watersports so that counts me out big time, however:

    1. Las Vegas from DAF, when it looked like a one street town with casions and hotels
    2. Queen Mary from DAF, in a dry dock in LA
    3. San Francisco from AVTAK
    4. Bratislava, TLD (although I believe they used Vienna for the location shoots)
    5. Vienna, TLD
    6. The O2 Arena (ok, stretching that one) TWINE
    7. Iceland (though not the glacier they filmed on) DAD
    8. Karolov Varny (supposed to be Montenegro) CR
    9. Prague, CR
    10. Outer space... in my dreams, like every other Bond location, MR

I forgot it coz in the film it's supposed to be in Cuba, and I havn't been there.

Like the others, i used to live in London , so been to many locations there, was also out jogging a few years back and came across P.Brosnans trailer at Surrey Quays where they filmed the indoor scenes when Bond fights with Carver in TND. Also found a lot of the Corfu locations from FYEO this year while on holiday there.

Grew up in Las Vegas, in the Army I was stationed in Alaska, Japan for a four hour lay over.
Bond: You don't think I enjoyed what we did this evening, do you? What I did tonight was for King and country! You don't think it gave me any pleasure, do you?
Fiona: But of course, I forgot your ego, Mr. Bond. James Bond, who only has to make love to a woman and she starts to hear heavenly choirs singing.

Not as many as I would like to:

London - loads of times. Been to see MI6 HQ.
Portugal (OHMSS) - been across the Salazar bridge that Bond and Tracey drove over.
Amsterdam (DAF) - did the boat trip. Lovely city - not for the narrow minded.
Spain (FYEO)- been to lots of places in Spain including Madrid. OK I know the Spanish scenes were actually filmed in Greece.
Corfu (FYEO) - been to Mouse Isalnd where the Triana was anchored and played roulette at the casino.
OP - been to the railway line where the train sequence was filmed. Can't remember what it is called.
Paris (AVTAK)- been up the Eiffel Tower.
Gibraltar (TLD) - not a particuliarly nice place. Drove the mountain roads where JB came down on the landrover.
Tangiers (TLD) - horrible palce. Not half as glamerous as it looks in the movies. One of the few places I have ever been to that I couldn't wait to leave.

Hope to get to see more in the future.

That is Nene Valley Railway which also was used in Goldeneye.

I discovered from Scuba diving teacher (I am currently taking a semester long course in scuba at college.) that if you go to the Bahamas you can dive near the underwater sets from Thunderball and NSNA. After hearing him talk about seeing the mocked up Vulcan bomber in person I really want to go and see it myself.

This isin't an exciting one but,
when in london i got my wife to photograph me at the door for abandoned agents, she looked a little perplexed as she had no idea what it was and was more intrested in the london eye.
still later we went on one of the thames boats so in my mind Bond has thundered up the thames in a speed boat, and so have i ( kinda )
But i love walking around london as i'm also a fan of spooks so nearly everywhere is a location.

Yes I recognize those pictures however unfortunately there was no Aston Martin DBS there when I went. I think the credit crunch has hit MI6. The Casino Royale sign has gone, it looks fairly similar to the film but it seems smaller. I went in July last year. There's a restaurant that has pictures of the cast and other actors who have visited there. Would recommend a visit.

Cool....I was there for the filming, so the sign had just been put up.

Actually, that's a vanquish, not a DBS...they are really quite different.

The hotel pic is the Pupp, which doubled for the Spendide in CR, and if you blow up the balcony in the middle, you will spot some of the cast and producers...

the other shot is Loket, which became Montenegro in CR...you can see the Goethe restaurant in the centre, where Bond and Vesper have lunch with Mathis.

I loved the area, the people are wonderful, and KV is spectacular....the wife loved the spas...some of the best in the World.

it's a crying shame that the casino wasn't preserved...it's the old Kaiserbad Lazne (czech for bathouse) spa, which is disused now...and falling apart....hence Eon were allowed to use it for the rump of the Casino.

The whole area is well worth a visit, esp for the film festival...

Hi, as I often work around London I can't possibly list all the locations there, Vauxhall Cross, Tower Bridge, Buck House etc

    I have also visited

Las Vegas (Freemont Street, Circus Circus Casino) DAF

    The Pyramids at Giza. TSWLM

Vienna (The Reisenrad ferris wheel) TLD

And then of course there was the one that got away.....

On April 24th 1995 The production of Goldeneye moved to Epsom Racecourse in Surrey to film the scene where Bond arrives at St Petersburg airport in Russia and is met by Jack Wade (Joe Don Baker).

Epsom Racecourse is less than a mile from my home and April 24th is my Birthday.

I Didn't know anything about it until they were gone!!!

Of course to add salt to the wound I now have to drive past the Racecourse every day to work.

Anyway getting back to the topic - last week I happened to find myself via work in Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire and so I detoured and took a couple of quick pictures with my phone of the Royal Saracens Head Hotel where Major Froncois Derval was killed by Fiona Volpe in Thunderball.

    iphone002.jpg

    iphone021.jpg

    And The Reisenrad....

London from all the various Bond films.

Florida from LTK. Not quite Key West, but I did visti that main region

Paris from AVTAK. Went through it on a coach to Spain so I didn't exactly "visit" saw the Eiffel Tower from a distance though.
