I have been looking for the James Bond audiobooks read by David Rintoul for ages.

They are much better then the any other I have heard.

There are none on ebay @ the moment so if anyone knows were I can get them or if anyone has them please send me a PM

    My only venture into Fleming audio books was OHMSS by David Rintoul, and yes, he is cool! Rintoul to me sounds smart and appropriately snobby. He is also effective when speaking the female parts, which beforehand I assumed would start me laughing.

    I remember looking in eBay at that time and also noticed the series scarcity, and I just feel fortunate that a distant libary has several of the "books." Good luck!

    I happened upon the unabridged audio book of Casino Royale read by Simon Vance last week at Borders Books and picked it up. What a great book! I am always amazed at how interesting Fleming could make a card game. I found myself sitting in my car this morning in front of my office just to listen to the finish of the hand (even though I already knew how it turned out). Anyway, a great audio book, I highly recommend it. I almost didn’t buy it since I just read the book about a year ago, but I am glad I did. I will definitely pick up some more of the books on CD.

    Blackstone Audio is currently selling some of their previous rentals at a discount in case anyone is interested. I recently purchased LALD, MR, DAF, FYEO, GF, TSWLM, and YOLT. The price ranged from $8 - $16 each, most of them were around $10. I have only had a chance to listen to Blackstones recordings of Casino Royale and part of LALD so far but I think they are well worth it. The site address is:

    I would like to finish my collection of Flemings James Bond audiobooks on CD. I still need DN, TB, OHMSS, O & LD, and TMWTGG. The only place I have been able to find the unabridged books is at Blackstone and they are around $56 each. Anyone know of another source for these?

    I may be the only one that didn't know that you could buy audio books through itunes. I just purchased OHMSS for around $18 and burned it to CD so I can listen to it in my car. They have all the Fleming Bond novels. I figured I would make the post just in case there was someone out there like me looking for the audio books.:)

    You're not alone in not knowing about "I-Tunes" selling the audio books....could you download the whole novel onto 1 CD? ....that would be magnificent!

    It took 7 cd's to get the whole book. I could only get about 1 hour 15 minutes on a disk. I thought of trying to burn it to a DVD disk to limit the number of disks but I was afraid my car's cd would not play it. I might try that on my next book, TB.
